GoLive in Creative Suite 2 installation problem

Summary: When I attempt to install the Creative Suite 2 Standard on the end-users new computer it skips installing GoLive. Also in the control panel it shows it as not installed. If I try to install only GoLive it asks to insert CD 1 but ejects the disk. There also is no directory for GoLive under C:\Program files.
What went wrong?: Installation went smoothly, no errors but also no GoLive installation

Adobe Creative Suite 3 Licensing problem?

Recently I purchased a new computer (an iMac w/ Maverics installed) after my previous computer (an iMac w/ Snow Leopard installed) crashed. My problem is that after getting all of my creative suite 3 design premium products onto the new machine via My Passport ( I had purchased it legally prior to the crash) and trying to use them, I'm getting a " Licensing for this product has stopped working." error. I know I have to uninstall all products from the previous machine, but the old machine is pretty much down for the count so doing that is impossible. On the bright side, I still have the CS3 Serial Number. Any suggestions?

Rauletta you may still be able to recover your installation of Creative Suite 3. I would recommend utilizing the uninstaller located in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder. Once you have ran the uninstall you will then want to run the CC Cleaner Tool to help ensure complete removal. Once you have removed Creative Suite 3 you can then obtain a fresh copy of the installation files at Download CS3 products.

Creative suite re-installation

I was told the amount of installations you can do with the cds is on 2 separate computers. I have put it on 2 different laptops and one I am getting refurbished, so would I still be able to re-install the creative suite on the fixed laptop with no problems?

You can install on an unlimited number of machines, but you can only activate two at a time.

Creative Suite 6 installation stuck on windows 7

Bought creative suite 6 Design and Web Premium and started the installation on windows 7
Went with default installation and selected all (default).. After around 20 min or so
it keeps accessing CD drive while installing acrobat X. Looks like it got stuck.. Waited for
several min and I had to shut down the PC.
Started another installation and now de-selected acrobat and see how it goes.. need to
wait for an hour I guess to see whether it will be successful
Any knows issues. BTW this PC is isolated for photo processing only.. and I connect to internet while
uploading my photos. So it has an old ver of Windows 7 and I do not update windows 7 since I want to keep
this PC virus free..

Are you running Windows 7 or Windows 7 Service Pack 1? In addition to running the cleaner tool I would also recommend reviewing your installation log files. Creative Suite 5 installation Error - Exit Code 7

Just got a new PC with Windows 7 Enterprise. When trying to install Creative Suite 5, I get an Exit Code 7 error and the details stating that the system does not meet minimum specs, which I'm sure is not accurate....see below. Thanks for the help.

Have you ensured you're installing the Mac installation disc and not the Windows disc -- and that you're installing from the program installation disc and not the content installation disc?

Creative Suite 2 installation and activation on Windows 7 pc

I am having trouble re-installing a copy of creative suite 2 on a Windows 7 machine. I have legally purchased the software and have the box with the serial number but can't use these due to the activation problems. I am trying to install from the instructions which tell you to download the cs2 exe files from the adobe site - I am downloading the files first before running as this seems to be a problem for some people but each time only get as far as installing disk 1 file and can't get the install to carry on to the disk 2 files, you either get ok (which does nothing) or cancel which quits you out of the install.

CS2 is unsupported in Windows 7 and if it’s 64 bit that makes it even more
complicated. I’m afraid you are on your own.

Creative Suite CS3 installation errors

Hello,
I have installed my copy of Creative Suite CS3 several times on my PC. However, recently my PC was hit with a virus. I reinstalled Windows XP/SP2. When I now try to install Creative Suite, I get errors every time.
I've tried to install it now five times. The message that I'm getting is similiar to "component installation failed". (I'm recalling the message from memory.) I'm trying to put Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Fireworks and Dreamweaver on my machine, but this error appears with every application I attempt to install.
I'm not aware of any error log that Adobe is keeping with the installation process.
Does anyone have any suggestions? thanks.

Require Creative Suite CS2 Installation Pack/Disc

Hey everyone,
I need to transfer installation of the CS2 Creative Suite onto another machine. I know how to deativate the current machine by using Help > Transfer Activation.
However, the installation pack appears to have been misplaced and so I am unable to install the software on the other machine. Is there a way to request/order the installation discs or download the files? Not very hopeful with the downloading side of it as the file size would be large to say the least.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Creative Suite 3 Installation Disk

Hi, I have a license for Creative Suite 3 Design Premium student edition. I've lost my installation disk and I need to deactive it on an old laptop and move it to my new laptop. Adobe was unable to help me since they've issued the new version. If I'm able to find an installation disk for the "regular" edition of CS3 Design Premium, will I be able to install that with my student licensing? Or do I have to find a student licensing-specific installation disk? Thanks, -Jen

I am facing difficulty with my Creative Suite 2 installation

Jeff, I tried to contact the support team online and before my message was read, I was asked to agree to pay $58.00...All I want is to be able to use my copy of CS5 on a new computer. The old one is dead. I did not deactivate CS5 on the old one. I have purchased Adobe 7 and upgraded to every single version that came after it except for CS3. In addition I purchased Creative Suite 2 for PC and MAC. What is the solution of one cannot deactivate ?
I would appreciate a phone number where I can speak to someone at Adobe.

Jeff, no, I don't have a case number. I simply didn't go through with it...It was an Adobe pop up that asked to agree to the $58.00 if I was satisfied with the person who would assist me. This happened after I wrote my long explanation. I was trying all along to deactivate my Photoshop 32 bits on my new pc. For some reason, the 32 bits version as well as the 64 bits version downloaded on my new pc which is a 64 bits machine.
It's no problem, I understand the need to protect copyrights. One question though, I thought I was allowed to have two copies of Photoshop on two different computers...I also have an InDesign suite on my Mac laptop. CS2 version, but I paid the full pop for this. How many copies are we allowed to have in functioning mode ?

Creative Suite 2 installation freezes Intel-based Mac

When you install Creative Suite 2 on an Intel-based Mac with the QuickTime 7.1 update installed, your Mac freezes.
Apple has now posted the QuickTime 7.1.1 update which resolves the freeze. Boot into Safe Boot mode by holding down the Shift key when restarting the Mac, then select Software Updates from the Apple menu and download and install QuickTime 7.1.1.
Reboot into normal mode and install the Creative Suite.

Adobe Creative Suite 6 installation

Hi,
I purchased the Adobe Creative Suite 6 (Education Edition). I have a macbook pro and I have tried to put in the CD in numerous times to install the software, and nothing shows up on the screen to do so.
I already did the online steps to retrieve the serial number to activate the product.
I have also downloaded Adobe reader, Flashplayer and flashwave thinking that th ecomputer would be able to read the CD, but still nothing.
Where should I go from here ?

Looks like you're trying to install the Windows version of Creative Suite CS6. Is that what it says on the box?
That will never work on a Mac. The Windows version and the Mac version are totally different and one will not work on the other. Neither will the serial number since the serial numbers are Windows-only or Mac-only and they're not interchangeable.
Have you purchased a Cloud membership or a perpetually licensed version of CS6 (download or boxed)?
I assumed you had a Cloud membership since you've posted in the Cloud forum but your question and screenshot indicates you're trying to install the non-Cloud version.
If you've subscribed to the Adobe Creative Cloud then you don't need a disc to install the software. You go here https://creative.adobe.com/apps, login and download.
If you've purchased the perpetually licensed version then you need to pack up what you've got and swap your Windows version for the Mac version of the software.
Either take the software back to where you got it and swap for a Mac version, or

In the meantime, download and use the trial version of the software while you're doing the swap process. The trial will work for up to 30 days

Student Edition of Creative Suite Serial Number Problem

From my University of Wisconsin school system I purchased Adobe Creative Suite 3 Web Premium. The box provides me with a coupon code which I need in order to obtain my serial number. It says to go to www.adobe.studentlicensing.com to get the serial number. However, this website does not work. Is the because I cannot activate the product until fall when school starts? Or did the website simply get changed? I've been searching the Adobe website for a while now and I cannot find a place where I can enter my coupon code to get the serial number.
