Yes, you can use your iPhone 4 with it, but I don't recommend using it with the dock connector as it wasn't designed for the iPhone 4 and you may have unexpected results.
I recommend using it with the auxilliary jack on the back of the unit. That's how I use mine and it works great to this very day. The iPod-Hifi is still an amazing and great sounding unit and they're incredibly rare to find now of days. I saw one on sale at Amazon.com for $999 haha! -

To take photos from iPhoto and put them onto a folder on Desktop, first create a folder on Desktop. Right-click on Desktop and create a new folder.
Then, open iPhoto, and you have two ways to export photos:
1. Select the photos you want to copy to Desktop with Command key (or go to Edit menu > Select All, if you want to copy all photos), and then, drag them to the folder on Desktop.
2. Select the photos you want to copy to Desktop with Command key, go to File menu > Export, and follow the steps.

I have windows 7 64 bit and followed the steps in the article. What I would like to know is if I was to sync my ipad would the backup file be created on the external harddrive automatically or do I have do these steps at least once a week.
Everytime one syncs the ipad it creates a backup in the following directory
c\users\owner\appdata\roaming\apple computer\backup
is there anyway I can change this and have it automatically backup everytime I sync the ipad.

On this point, you can keep a copy of of the "Itunes Music Library.xml" file, which contains the itunes metadata for your music library (songs & playlists).
Obviously, you would still need the files themselves for this to be of any worth, but if you ever find yourself in the same situation you can use the .xml file to recreate iTunes as it was. Keep in mind that you must import the .xml file into iTunes for this to work, you cannot simply move it via the finder. -

I have heard of people ordering their iphone 6's and having them shipped out in the next day. I understand demand is extremely high but I don't understand why it has to take this long for my order to be fulfilled.
mattminsch, I know that you're excited to get your new device and we are too. The demand for these devices would most certainly be high and depending on the model that was purchased. Currently for the time frame that was mentioned the ship date would be 10/31 for most models. Once the device has been set to ship only then would you see the order change from processing to shipped. Do you remember what model you purchased?

The backup contains your app data. If that is included in the app's app data, it should. But you would have to ask the developer to know for sure.

Ok so I paid for more storage for my iCloud which was $3.99 but I'm releaizing that im going to have pay the $27.99 payment to get what I want I guess.
