Good example of face recognition not working

I started the automatic face recognition process through my old family photos. As it happened, I had a photo of 35 passport type pics of myself (all the same pic) that I had used for a country that needed numerous permits.
Remember....these shots of me are EXACTLY the same.
It has now asked me no less than 12 times if this picture is me as it randomly goes through photos. If I said that this photo was me the first time, and the second, and the third...etc.....how can it not recognize the exact same photos as me also?
There has to be a problem here.

The issue that I have is as follows:
Purchase Order Goods Receipt quantity tolerance setting not working, I had set up a 10% tolerance on QTY received in the GR process via the PIR and also the Purchase Value Key in the material master and also changed the message to a warning in OMCQ for message number M0722.
I had performed a similar configuration and master data maintenance on a different NON IS-OIL client install and it worked fine.
I believe it is the IS-OIL component in the Inventory update portion of the GR process that is causing the error.
I have searched for OSS notes, however they mention that there is no solution.
Setting the PO line item as Unlimited will not be best practice for the business and will not be used.
Has anyone come across this issue? and how was it resolved, your help and guidance will be greatly appreciated.

Nobody can tell you anything without proper system info or other technical details. We don't even know what exactly you are trying to install.

If you lose sound for games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds may have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the control center. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to get to control center . Tap on the bell icon and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock can be accessed in the same manner as described above.

ADF Faces Skins Not Working

I can't seem to get my ADF faces skins to register at all. I have a css file, an adf-faces-skins.xml file, and a <skin-family> element in my adf-faces-config.xml file, but to no avail.
One possible hint--I think I might not be getting access to the appropriate XML namespace in my adf-faces-skins.xml file. I can't, for example, get code insight to work there ("No insight available"). I'm using
<skins xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adfview/faces/skin">
which looks like it's right out of the help. Am I missing a library of some sort?

Yes, I have, and I don't see anything I've done substantially differently from there--with the exception of adding a new version of Faces to my project. I assume I don't have to do that if I'm using 10.1.3 Production (the HowTo says it's a "more recent" version of Faces, but it was written against EA 1).

Speech recognition not working

I have an iPhone 5 and for several months, no form of speech recognition has worked, whether for Siri or, for example, voice dictation when sending text messages,
Whenever I try to use the feature, the line does not wave at all, as though the mic is not picking up any sound. But I can speak to people on the phone just fine.
It's been this way for several months, and the phone has be reset and shut on and off several times in theat period. I switched Siri on and off in that time as well. Can anyone help me?

Qosmio F750-03W - face recognition not start and video freezes

I apologize for my English.
Nvidia 3D testing program wheel shots. The face recognition does not start.
If on, the image activator 3D is disturbed and I do not see the image in 3D.
If I try the Games 3D compatible (Left4Dead) activates the 3D in 1080p but the game is jerky as the test image 3D not activate the face recognition.
3D play is to see in 2D photos into 3D but how do I vadere photos in 3D?
If active 3D activator the image quality is poor.
I did set both normal and advanced, but the videos have gost effects especially on the sides.

First of all you should update the BIOS to the latest version (at this time it seems that BIOS 2.0 is the latest one).
Also update the

if 3D stereo effects are not ok use the X-tune to calibrate this.
You are recommended to use this utility to optimize the 3D stereo effects when using the Glasses-Free 3D function for the first time or being unsatisfied with the 3D effects.
To operate the X-Tune utility, follow the steps as described below:
1. Select the language and optimization mode, and then click OK. There are three optimization modes: Primary, Advanced and Professional. You can choose one based on your own experience.
2. Sitting about 60cm away from your computer, click Start to continue.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions on each step.
4. Use the left or right arrow key on the keyboard to adjust the effect. When you are satisfied with the effect, click Enter and then an information window will appear on the screen. Press the ESC key on the keyboard to cancel the optimization procedure.
5. Click Finish to close the X-Tune utility.
You said your face recognition does not work properly so uninstall this software. Do this also with the webcam driver/software. After both tools has been uninstalled, clean registry using CCleaner and install both tools again using the newest version.
Reboot and start the X-Tune again to calibrate the 3D effects.
In the Toshiba doc (link posted above) you can find this notice:
1. Set [Screen resolution] to 1920x1080. Glasses free 3D mode is not enabled except in 1920x1080 mode.
2. Depending on game, it does not work with glasses free 3D mode and work with 2D mode.
3. Depending on game, it is not displayed correctly with stereoscopic 3D mode
4. Game is not displayed with glasses free 3D mode when running TOSHIBA Blu-ray Disc Player with glasses free 3D mode

Iphone 6 voice recognition not working

I have an iphone 6 and have had it since October 2014. For about a month now, the voice recognition option does not work. I like to use it rather than texting, and emails when I'm on the go and it's frustrating that I can't figure out what's wrong. I have looked through other threads to try and figure out what else I might do. So far I've:
rebooted (hard reset)
double checked that all my settings are correct re Siri and voice recognition
checked that it is not a problem with earphones v. no earphones. Doesn't appear to make any difference
Siri doesn't work either
Checked the microphone to make sure it's not blocked or something
I can use the phone feature just fine.
It just seems to be the voice recognition feature that doesn't want to cooperate. If you have any ideas please let me know!
I'm taking it to the Apple Store next week since I have run out of my own ideas... Thanks!

I bought two iPhone 4 one from apple store in Paris n the other from Vodafone in Egypt and the one from Egypt have face time but is not activating so does anyone know how to activate it although my Paris iPhone is activating face time automatically n it is working fine

Guys I have just contacted the apple support and i have a little chat with them regarding this issue as i have the same question, my case is i have bought iPhone 6 plus from the UAE apple store and for sure there is no FaceTime application or even FaceTime in the settings as they are disabling this feature in UAE, However i will use this i phone in Egypt which they are enabling this feature in Egypt as i have another i phone with Egypt Sim Card and it works fine so i asked them i want to use the iPhone 6 that i have just bought in Egypt and enabling the FaceTime is that possible ? and they replied with if my country are not denying using FaceTime and iMessage thew will work fine. as they are disabling this function by location only, so once i will be in Egypt i have to restore my phone and it will relocate my location Automatically and the FaceTime and the iMessage will work then as long as my carrier provider is allowing this function.
and actually that make sense as i never heard before anyone here in Egypt has iPhone with no FaceTime feature am always hearing this in UAE and KSA.
I searched a lot online for answer for this question and i always find " it will not work " or "it disabled you can't enable it" and i really get disappointed for those answers as i payed a lot for this phone, so i guarantee to you that it will works in your phone as long as you are not in the districted country, and if you don't believe me you contact the Apple support by yourself.

Not matter how hard I try to get my speech recognition to work on my MacBook Pro, it is very temperamental! Even when I am in a quiet space it will respond, but after a while it won't. I've tried calibrating it, etc but doesn't make a huge difference.
What makes me think there is a problem is the fact that when speech recognition is activated there is supposed to be lights that light up (on the actual speech recognition widget thing - as I have noticed on various other MacBook Pro users' YouTube videos). But for mine, the bottom, blue light only lights up; and no matter how loud I shout at it, the blue light DOESN'T then go on to the green light. However, when I calibrate it, my speech is recognised as being in the 'green area'; so I am speaking t the right level.

Facial recognition not working

When I am in the "Faces" mode and I go to a person's "face" page, at the bottom it tells you that person may be in more photos. On the right, you click to "Confirm" those pictures. When I do this and I "Confirm" or deny the photo, it's not working. It keeps displaying the same photos over and over again. I am hitting "done" at the end. However, the same photos keep showing up to confirm. Any reason why?

As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

Face Time not working in iPhone or iPad since upgradation to vers. iOS 7.1.1

I am in India and face time is not working since software upgradation to iOS 7.1.1 in my both iPhone 4 and iPad 2.
Please help to restore this feature.

It takes two to tango.
To have FaceTime running all devices should have IOS 7.1.1 or IOS 6.1.6 for older devices.

Faces is not working anymore

got macbook a few months ago, and faces has been working fine, until the computer suddenly got frozen and needs to restart while i was transferring photos from camera to iphoto.
After this, some of the photos were lost, and faces no longer works.
the corkboard is now the demo version; the previous photos that i have added faces on, the names still remain. however, faces does not detect any faces anymore - and if i do add missing faces, it never gets saved. and when i tried to add a missing face onto the previously saved faces, then the previously existing name gets lost as well.
but i still often see the faces getting the synced/scanned little symbol on its side.
can someone help me to get faces working again.

Sounds like your Library database file was damaged at that point.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the apple and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Face time is not working on my mac computer, but it is working on my ipad and iphone. what can and should i do?
On another note, my iphone is not receiving the incoming receipts messages i sent on my mac. when i do send messages on my mac i receive them on my phone just dont receive theirs on my phone.

Yeah I have a fix. I do not recommend you do this unless you know what you are doing.... go to the apple store and get a tech to get the serial number back into the bios of the mac.
You need to find your serial number on the bottom of your mac or if older mbp remove battery and it is inside the battery housing.
Use this program to write the serial number to the board.

FYI you don't need to use a CD you can use a USB and on bootup hold the option key down and you can boot from the USB stick.
