Good facebook integration with ios

Can anyone point me in the right direction for how to add facebook functionality to my app. I want to be able to share and post stuff to facebook wall.

I saw this blog post of yours last month, and was planning on using your single sign-on ANE with my app within the next month. Just curious, though...since it appears you work for Adobe...does Adobe have any plans incorporating your work into the actionscript/Facebook code, or is it to remain an ANE? I'm only asking because I haven't yet compiled my Adobe Air app with an ANE, and am hesitant to do so (or at least want to spend my development cycles on stuff I know how to do), especially if it won't be necessary. However, lately it seems I'm needing more and more iOS native functionality that I can't find in the Flex mobile framework, so maybe it's time to take the plunge...

I do not want integration with IOS or iCloud

Hello,
I have a late 2010 27 inch iMac and a first generation iPad.
I foolishly installed Mountain Lion when it came out and have become increasingly frustrated and irritated with the emphasis on iCloud (I did not install that) and integration with IOS.
I do not like the way Safari operates in this OS nor the alterations to mail and other applications.
It seems to be very difficult to revert to Snow Leopard which is what I would prefer to do.
It also seems that Apple does not understand that some users just want to use a computer in the traditional way and have no interest in social networks or in integrating devices.
I have been using computers for 25 years and do know what I need.
Does anyone have a simple solution to reverting to Snow Leopard and ignoring these latest developments?
Everyone is urged to back up with Time Machine which is what I have always done - to an external drive. However, it seems this is useless when wanting to revert to SL as I do so that was a waste of time too.

IOS 6 facebook integration with multiple list selection and exception list selection?

hey guys,
does anyone know if there is in the iOS 6 facebook integration an option choosing multiple friendlists for posts or even the option to reject friendslists from reading particular posts?
this is what i miss in the facebook app and why the google plus app is better than the fb app.
maybe apple is going to introduce this facebook desktop posting feature into ios 6

How can I turn on Facebook integration in iOS 6 without syncing w/Calendar/Contacts?

Just updated to iOS 6. I would like to turn on Facebook integration but I don't want to sync with my contacts and calendars. It seems that there are options to turn this off but only after you've signed in to Facebook -- and you get the warning that signing into Facebook merges your contacts and calendars! Is there any way to turn off the merger in advance?

You'd do that if you wanted to add in all your contacts from facebook - it makes it useful to find out who's using other apps - 4 square - whatsapp, facetime etc. I had many facebook contacts that I don't call, however if they are using other things, I might be talking to them. So yeah, I decided to bring in all my facebook contacts. It has created a mess that I'm trying to clean up though. The mess is that I have a lot of duplicate contacts ( a facebook contact of Mary Smith and a contact on my phone of Aunt Mary). I know that when I go and edit one of the 2, there is an option to link the 2, which will then merge the data (adds email info, birthday, facebook contact info, twitter etc) but it doesn't delete one of the contacts. It should give an option to delete one of the merged contacts.. but it doesn't. I'm not sure how to fix this. I've been asking the boards here, but no solution has been given.

Facebook integrated with 5.1 : how to use it?

Hello guys,
I saw that I can enter my Facebook username in my own contact page. I have two problem here :
1) I don't have a username per se, I use my e-mail adresse. In the blank space, do I put my e-mail adresse? or I need to create a costum username?
2) On wikipedia, it says that iOS 5.1 has now facebook integrated in the system. How can I share a photo on facebook witch the camera roll?

You set this up on the facebook website.
You can personalize your Facebook URL (web address) by selecting a unique username. It will appear in the location bar of your browser after "https://www.facebook.com/" when you view your profile (timeline) or Page.
An example of a username is the phrase "fbsitegovernance" as used in the web address https://www.facebook.com/fbsitegovernance.

Use facebook integration with business page

We would like to use the facebook integration to link to our business facebook page, that way we can easily monitor activity and share posts and photos directly from the desktop. I can only get it to link to personal accounts of those who are managers of the page and we would prefer not to have employees distracted with their personal facebook lives at work.

Open system preferences>mail, contacts, and calendars>(your facebook account)>contacts
There should be a check box for contacts, if you uncheck it, your facebook contacts/friends should not end up in your contacts app.
I'm not 100% sure, sorry, I don't have facebook integration activated on my Mac.

Facebook integration on iOS 6

is anyone else having this problem with the facebook integration where your facebook contacts take over your main contacts?
Also, if one of my contacts on FB has chosen to hide their number (in their privacy settings) should that also hide their number (which I had anyway in my normal contacts) after the FB integration? Is that a bug or is it supposed to work like this ??

Logic X on OSX integrated with IOS

I have found a product that allows you to integrate LogicX on OSX with IOS such that you can run synth/music apps that are on your iPhone or iPad like they are plugins within Logic. It routes both midi and audio. The latter with something they are calling Audio PassThru Technology:

However, this is quite expensive and it strikes me that this capability should be built into Logic X / OSX / IOS using a USB to lightning cable.
Can anybody tell me if this capability already exists or if it is likely to become available in the near future please?
Or, will I have to spend the money on third party hardware to do the job? (you'd have thought would be quite an obvious requirement these days)

It requires special hardware to achieve this plus some very clever programming...... Its not just a USB to Lightning Cord....
So to get that capability currently, you have to buy a 2+ or 4+ from iConnectivity,.,. (The 2+ is half the price of the 4+ and only allows for one iOS device to be connected.....where as the 4+ allows for 2 iOS devices to be connected at the same time.)
I have two of the 2+'s and they are great, for both the Audio Pass Thru feature and as additional Midi I/Os to work along side my Motu Ultralite. So much so I've ordered a 4+ to take on the road with me later this year......

not sure if im just reading it wrong but on apples web site under the photos section for ios 5 this is written,

well i sure hope so ,that would be really awesome, it might just be about being able to upload photos using the fb app, but why would apple reference the fb app in a ios5 add? but on the other hand wouldnt apple of mentioned fb integration before this?

OS X Mountain Lion Messages Beta - Integration with iOS Devices

Finding it slightly disappointing that I can't link my phone number with Messages on the Mac.
I currently recieve all my iMessages on my iPhone through my phone number, and so if I start using Messages on my Mac with my email address I would have none of those conversations to continue, and if I did start conversations they firstly; won't actually go through to my phone (as my Apple ID is not linked with iMessage on my iPhone) and even if they did they would come up as seperate conversations to those already on my phone.
Kind of a confusing post.. and really just asking whether anyone else has downloaded the Messages Beta and realised the same thing?

Having played around with it, I can get Messages to continue with the conversation in the same place on my end which is good. But on the other end the person recieves it from my email and so is in a different place to the rest of the actual convo.
Still would like some form of integration between email and number, but that article certainly shows why the email address works between different types of Apple Device!

Sharing photos using Facebook integration on iOS 6

I have tried sharing a photo from my album to facebook. But it never posted on my wall/timeline. Why is that?

The Facebook notifications in Mountain Lion didn't work for me properly.. Some notifications appeared but most of the notifications I got on Facebook didn't show up in Notification Center
That's why I had to switch to Glow for FB which is quite nice! It costs one $ but at least I have reliable Facebook notifications on my Mac finally

How do I sync my facebook calendar with my I-Phone 4S?

I recently purchased an I-Phone 4S - and there is so much to learn,
can someone please help me. How do I link my facebook phone to my I-Phone?
On my calenar list- Facebook is checked, but still nothing.

I have no clue. You must have a calendar named "Facebook" in whatever calendar (on your computer or in a cloud service) you're syncing with. It's not one of the default calendars and there is no direct facebook integration in iOS.

Getting PDF into iBooks from Mail with IOS 7?

OK, on my iPad 3......pre IOS 7, someone coud emal me a PDF and I would click it in Mail and it would give me the "OPTION" to view or open in iBooks. Because I wanted it in iBooks, I would click that and all was good.
NOW with IOS 7.....I get this "Preview" of the PDF.....when I click it, I get "Save Image" or "Copy".
If I click Save Image, it puts something in my Camera Roll that I cannot even see? If I hit Copy, I guess it's on the Clipboard...but I still cannot get it into iBooks.
HOW DO I GET A PDF that was emailed to me from Mail to iBooks using IOS 7????

OK...here is what it is.......
I open a WORD Document on my Mac using MS Word 2008 for Mac Version 12.3.6 (130206) Latest Installed Update: 12.3.6.
I then click SAVE AS: and I choose PDF.
I then email that PDF to myself via standard Mac Mail...and recieve it in my iPad via standard Mail.
It shows up as a photo....I click on it in MAIL on my iPad and I only have the OPTION to "Save Image"...and that puts it in the Camera Roll...but not as a PDF or....COPY....and I can't do anything with that.
NEXT....I tried it this way.
I open the document in MS WORD....click PRINT...then PDF from my MAC....and save it as a PDF.....do that same thing above...and I get the same results.
So...it is NOT a photo...it is a MS WORD Document.....I have tried this not only on my iPAD but also on an iPHONE 5 running IOS7 and get the same results.
HOW DO I FIX THIS?????

If I SAVE the PDF to something like Dropbox....then got to Dropbox on my iPad or phone...then click it I have the option to put it in iBooks...and it works perfectly.......
So...the "ISSUE" to me is not with the PDF....as it does work when saved that way...the issue is with IOS7 and how it views a PDF in Mail.
ANY SUGGESTIONS?????
