Good iphone 6 cases to prevent bending?

Has anyone has success with any brand (and what type) of cases that prevent the phone from flexing?   I enjoy the phones sleekness but as I have the 6 and after 2 days of casual wear of being in my pocket there is already a noticeable bend from upper left (volume buttons) to the lower right.

I was looking for the exact same thing. I got the CM4 Wallet Case and absotulety love it.

  • An iPhone case that prevents bending?

Here's my idea for an iPhone case that prevents bending: Get a case like the one shown that takes cards, and put in a piece of steel, or if you're worried about the weight, titanium. My thinking is that should make the case rigid enough to prevent bending. Thoughts?

I think a case should be able to bend a bit , so in case of fall it will absorb some of the impact .

  • Any good iPhone cases out there that you can buy online?

I'm looking for quality because I only want to buy a case once. But my two favorites.... incase and otterbox are both way behind, not even having a release date for their iPhone 4 products.

I bought the iFrogz luxe and love it! I actually bought one for my 3GS model about 8 months or so ago. It's felt held up great. I wear cargo pants and slide my phone in and out of the side pocket all day long and the only wear on the case is the bottom corners. My old case (can't remember who made it now) wore out in a month.
First thing I did on the 24th was to go buy me a iFrogz Luxe case for my iPhone 4. Only disappointing part on it was, I couldn't find it in purple! LOL They have them online in purple (now) but I could only get it in blue at Best Buy! Now AT&T's site shows and cool pink and purple one, but it is not showing up as available to buy yet. As soon as it is, I'm getting it too! LOL
As you can tell, I highly recommend the iFroqz Luxe!

  • Magnetic iPhone Cases, Good or Bad Idea?

Thinking of purchasing a new iPhone case which has a leather flip cover for the touch screen and has magnetic fasteners.
Dose anyone know if this can affect the iPhone or it's touch screen?
    Thanks.
here is the site and it is a dock ’able’ case.
Found it on another thread here.

    How did you replace them?
Did it come with that option or did you just cut them
    out?
Lastly what case are you using?
Thanks for the info, I'll be looking for a velcro
    case now.
It's a cheap generic case that I got at a T-Mobile kiosk in the mall. I cut performed a little surgey and removed the 4 small magnets and used some self-stick Velcro from Office Max.
I have a Case-Mate cover on order for protection, (http://www.case-mate.com/phones/apple/Perforated-Leather-iPhone-Case) but I HOPE I can still use my case (or something like it) as a carrier and not have to have it hanging exposed from a belt clip.
Here are a couple of nice looking Velcro pouches that I'm actually considering as a replacement for mine. (The surgery wasn't completely successful, and it WAS a pretty cheap case to start with.)
I think I like the looks of this one best:

But this one's not bad either:

  • Would selling cool iPhone cases on eBay be a good ieda im 16 im trying to create a job for my self becasue times are hard

selling cool iPhone cases a good ieda?

While it sounds like a good idea, you will have an incredible amount of competition as anyone can go anywhere to buy an iPhone case. You would have to advertise your business and explain why someone would want to buy from you rather than Best Buy, RadioShack, or any other place where they can pick up a case in an afternoon and not have to wait for it to be shipped. Keep up the business spirit. Maybe look for something you can where you live. Offer a service of some type. Good luck with your search.

  • Does the iphone 6 plus actually bend

I heard that the iphone 6 plus is bending with regular use. I have ordered the iphone 6 plus and just wanted to know if anyone has actually found that the phone bends. If anyone who used the 6 plus can please help me out i would really appreciate it. I am a student and have been saving for a long time to buy this a new phone I just don't want to buy a phone that could potentially bend if maybe i sit on it or if it falls.

    Hi,
like many people I was opposed to the negative press.
    however........
I really must tell you of a case. I have had a number of iphone 6 models over the last few weeks and they have all gone back for a number of issues. Overheating, broken speakers, dead pixels and buttons sticking.
I got an iPhone 6 plus that works in the end. All was good until I met with a member of the family for lunch who wanted to ask me about his iphone. He has the iPhone 6. This phone was not only bent but also twisted!
I Am OCD about my devices. He is even more so than me. His phone was in a case and tempered glass protector fitted. Having heard the news the phone was never kept in a pocket at all! I really must stress this point, he is one of the most honest people I know.
Anyway, we took the phone to the apple store in Liverpool One. The manager saw the phone was immediately shocked at its condition. Was sent to Genius Bar to get the situation sorted out. A big fat NO. Our warranty does no longer cover and bends or distortion of the handset! However, for £290 we can remedy the situation for you! After a lengthy discussion with the technician and the store manager they were adamant they would in no way assist without taking £300 off of him. They stated they had never seen a bent iphone 6 before which is baloney as have seen a number of people return them for the same issue. He is now stuck with a phone that is worthless! No re sale value whatsoever!
As a result I have returned my phone and purchased a phone from a rival manufacturer!
Having been an apple customer for over 15 years I am absolutely appealed by this. Appalled.

  • IPhone case design suggestion

The leather cases for $39.95 are good and I have ordered one based on reader recomendations. But I suspect that if they are soft, leaning on them might accidentally activate a function on the iPhone (a freind of mine has already had trouble with this).
Hey Apple - howsabout designing one the same size and shape as the leather one, but as a HARD case - like some people have for their glasses? Leave only about 1-2mm space between the lid and the iPhone glass, so it stays slim, but also so that there is no possibility of accidentally activating the screen. Essentially it would be like a case for glasses - when you pop it open, you have the face of the iPhone in front of you. I think that would be awesome.
(Now Mr. Jobs - I KNOW you are honest enough to pay me a little bonus for this recommendation, if it goes into production... You and I have a mutual acquaintance - we've chatted before, but I don't expect you to remember me offhand with the thousands of things you have to take care of every day).
    Cheers!

Apple does not design, manufacture, nor put their brand on any cases manufactured by others. AFAIK, all iPhone cases are designed and manufactured by 3rd parties not associated with Apple.

  • IPhone case cause bad reception ?!

I bought a cute snap on case online and when i use it i have very low reception sometimes and then sometimes it will have good reception. Has anyone had any similar problems with an iphone case? My case i metallic so i'm not sure if that is of any significance. Please let me know :o)

Does it have a magnetic snap?
If so, it is a known problem that cases with magnetic closures cause low signal levels on the iPhone.

Since downloading the iPhone Case App early Friday, I have not been able to get past the sign stage. "We are unable to process your request, Please try again later" So, others having difficulty signing up for the bumper?

Wouldn't even load for me for 3 hours. Finally got my request in, and it's good.

  • Free iphone case? ya right

    Hello,
I purchased an Iphone 4 back in July. although i have been happy with the product, i have been extremely dissatisfied with the customer service of this product. I signed up for the free bumper/iphone case back in july. The reason i am writing is that i still have not received it. Apple has shipped it out 4-5 times to incorrect addresses. The people on the phone have been incapable of taking down a proper address. Now the phone is all scratched up and damaged because of the lack of a case. The phone is good but the service behind it leaves something to be desired. I had a new phone and now it looks well banged up. Very disappointed. I have quite a few Apple products in my household: 2 Macbook Pros, Mac mini, Apple TV, Time Capsule, and a few Ipods. Now, i may start to rethink my Apple loyalty considering the sub par performance on this issue.

thats your own fault.. I agree you should have gotten your free case but the bumper has hardly any protection at all to the phone if you mistreat it in a bumper its going to get all scratched up as well..
my fiance has her iphone out of the case and has no scratches on it whatsoever

  • Best iPhone case - what's your favorite

I have heard that many iPhone cases scratch the heck out of the iPhone...
What are your thoughts on some of these cases?
I heard the "Agent Zero" iPhone cases are pretty good... any thoughts?

With out a doubt - The Otterbox Defender Case is the best case going - Many of my friends have iPhones - They have now or have had every case imaginable - I read all the reviews and went with the Otterbox Defender Case - I have a few scratches on the Otterbox screen protector - Not one scratch anywhere on my iPhone - I have dropped my phone in this case - No damage at all - I open it up every now and then just to check if my phone has gotten any scratches from the inside of the case - Not one - It works so well that I have bought a second one to have when the built in screen protector gets to scratched for my taste - But - It repels damage so well that i may never need it - The holster also works really well - If you are thinking of an iPhone think of a case first - I had my Otterbox Defender in hand a few days before my phone arrived - It never had a moment without it on and has been great ever since - Bottom line - Buy the case first - Then get the phone - One more thing - The installation instructions that come with the Otterbox are okay - You can see an installation vidieo on the Otterbox Website that makes it an easy move

  • Good iPhone optimized Web Sites?

    All,
I would like to ask what good iPhone optimized Web Sites, people use. I have created my own web page would would like to add links to cool sites.
Check out my new iPhone optimized web site At:
    ihttp://homepage.mac.com/mgural/iPhone.html
It offers a quick web search, with the ability to search Google, Yahoo, Wikipedia, Digg, Flickr + 12 other Great searches, all from one search form. Link buttons to many great iPhone optimized sites. The whole site is orientation sensitive, and rotating you iPhone to the left and right, will change the page, and may also reveal some hidden surprises. Have fun, and let me know what you think.

Optimized websites are a far cry from prior "WAP" or "mobile" sites. They're generally text only and very limited in what they can display. iPhone optimized sites are simply sites optimized for a touch interface (interface widgets of a certain size and other tips listed here. http://developer.apple.com/iphone/devcenter/designingcontent.html )
They are still able to use the full power of Safari to create really sophisticated and graphic powered interfaces. In some cases, the site can also be designed so as to be an easier download over EDGE. As long as the site author allows me to choose a full version of their site by choice (when I have WiFi), then I've no problem with optimized sites.

  • Best iPhone Case suggestions..

I am wondering if anyone has a suggestion for my next iPhone case. I need to find one that has a beltclip. The one I have now is a Speck brand and is like a clear silicon rubberized looking case. I have dropped my phone twice now and have small cosmetic marks on the bottom of the phone where the dock connector plugs into. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

My personal recommendation is the iskin revo - I think it is awesome.
    - The silicone case is better than the speck - not as sticky in your pocket - but still feels nice
    - All of ports are covered - the volume, on/off switch, main menu button, headphone jack (flips back for insert) which really keeps the dust and dirt from your pocket or other areas from getting into the phone.
    - The film that goes on the screen is great - not only does it greatly minimize the smears and smudges, but the privacy effect when viewed from the side works great, it directs the light at you - not to the side, which is nice if you are looking at your phone in a theater.
    - the extra plastic shield which easily flipts to the back is a nice extra feature - I don't use it much - but I do when I put my phone in my gym bag, or bike bag for extra protectoin on the screen.
its a good all purpose case - I don't use the clip myself though. I've dropped my phone a few times and the extra rubber on the corners provides a little extra cushion in those instances.

  • Why has my iPhone 5 begin to bend inward near the volume buttons?

Why has my iPhone 5 begin to bend inward? Is there any way apple can help me replace my device?

I have to schedule an appointment to meet up with someone that works at apple in order to get my phone checked. But I think is hardware because I've been really cautious with my phone since purchasing it in February. I've had it in an otter box defender case and all that. I just took it out the box like two weeks ago in order to feel the slimness of the phone instead of the bulky ness. But there's been a few times when charging my phone it has gotten very hot. Specially when I start charging it when it's at 1%. And I've read other people say that it has happened to them also and they said that when your pone gets really hot when charging it makes it easy for the aluminum still frame around the phone bend. But I mean my pone is literally bent inward and I really don't know what caused it to do that. Cause I'm seriously not going to pay to get a new device when I honestly didn't do anything to the phone physically in order for it to get bent.
