  • Goods Receipt Processing Time in Days field

    Hi,
what does "Goods Receipt Processing Time in Days" in material master affect ?
    Regards

    Dear SAPBUG,
    Goods Receipt Processing time
in-house produced materials, 1 day GR - after completion of production of Huge lot size then they see Whole lot is
Made as per Requirment or not. so this takes time 1 day. so this time will get effected in Scheduling. MRP takes into
account this 1 day & schedules the dates accordingly
For Purchase materials, 1 day GR - same applies after purchasing concern persons will check the material is as per
requirment or not. MRp schedules as per days given in this field
in simple words SAP has given Flexbile option

  • Purchase Order - Goods receipt processing time (User Exit)

    Hi All,
I would like to know if there is any User Exits available for this scenario.
In the Delivery tab of PO, we see GRPT & Planned Delivery Time, this information is picked up from the material master. In my case i have included the transport time in the GRPT time, so i have kept the GRPT = 25 days as the material is sent by sea. But in certain cases the material might be sent by air & the GRPT will then only be 5 days. So i want to use the Shipping instr field, where i select Shipping Instr1 & i want the system to force the GRPT time to be 5 days instead of the normal 25 days, when the PO is saved. Is this possible?
Alternatively if there is a better solution, kindly advice me.

  • Goods Receipt of Co Product

    Dear Experts,
During the goods receipt of co product using transaction code MB31-101 mvt type, system not automatically calculating the proportion qty of co product. For example, I have a production order of 10Kg. When I produce the 10 kgs of main product, 5 kgs of co product get produced. When I do the confirmaion of 5 kg oc main product sysyen should automatically calculate the co product receipt qty as 2.5 kgs in MB31 transaction. How this can be mapped?

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enhancement Package 6 (EA_APPL_606) Business Function Optimizations in Production (LOG_PP_CI_1) is available. This business function allows you to use automatic goods receipt for co-products when entering confirmations for production and process orders.
The confirmation process has been harmonized with the standard confirmation process and is now more user friendly.
The automatic goods receipt process has significantly reduced the number of process steps previously required. When you have to confirm production orders for which there are co-products, you no longer need to call additional transactions.
When you confirm production orders, the system automatically calculates a proposal for the goods receipt or the item assigned to the operation with the corresponding quantity calculated. You can also use this function in milestone confirmation.
Note that the attribute for co-products and the indicator for automatic goods receipt must be set for the material.

  • Creation of Asset Master in Goods Receipt

    Dear All,
Is there any possiblities to create Asset Master during Goods Receipt Process.  The Scenarios is the user did not want to create Asset Code during or before creation of Purchaes Order and we need the system to create the Asset with Sub number in Goods Receipt.
    Please help.

    Hi
I dont think there is a possibility, you need to give true account assignment in creation of PO.
    Thanks

  • Third Party Procurement Goods Receipt

For Third party procurement, where goods are ordered from a vendor and drop-shipped to a customer, how does SAP recommend the goods receipt process take place by the customer? (We are using CRM/ECC/SRM)
For example, normal PO creation requires a plant to be specified.  However in third party procurement, there is no goods receipt into a plant, as the materials are shipped from the vendor directly to a customer.
Please provide any insight on if or how a goods receipt is performed in third party procurement scenario.  I believe SRM enables a new 107 movement, if this is true can someone please elaborate on this process.
    Thanks

    Hi,
In 3rd party sales, the preq so generated in SD got to have plant at any cost no matter we receive into our plant or not.  This is because, we need to be able to pay to vendor subsequently (whether we receive into our system by active GR for the PO or not  and MIRO uses PO reference and that becomes the data (in most cases of 3rd party sales process) for SD billing.  So, plant must be there.  However, processing GR is optional.  But, a good solution is:
Customer places order with us so, SO# created.  Being 3rd party order, creates 3rd party PReq and I would recommend a shipping notification (or Inbound Delivery) be EDI'ed to our system from vendor's system when he dispatches goods to customer.  When customer confirms receipt in his receiving location, based on customer's communication (by phone/email/fax etc) we process GR logically.
Now, billing part whether before or after the vendor invoice processing is suggested in both the ways in best practices in two different scenarios.  However, it is recommended to have vendor invoice processed before customer invoice.  Hope, this helps..

  • How to copy Inspection Results into Inspection Lot in Good Recipt Process

    Dear Members,
I am working on a Automatic copy of MIC values [Micro Inspection Characteristics (CML 260-CML 299)] into a batch(new) and Inspection lot( QA32 - Results Screen) in Goods Receipt process(Process order) using MB31.
I have successfully implemented the customer Exit (EXIT_SAPMM07M_004) for copy MIC values to Batch(Batch Records only).
But I am not able to find out the proper process or User-Exits to update the same MIC values into Inspection lot which is being created in the same GR process for the order.
Can anyone please share your experience or tips on this requirement?
    Thanks,

  • Goods Receipt of HU for Process Order

    Hi All,
    I have the following scenario.
We are looking to implement HUM.
We are using externally numbered HU's.
Every HU when packed in prodcution may have a different quantity so we will not use packing instructions to save the deletion of non used HU's.
Do I need to use COWBPACK to assign HU's to the process order. Issue with this is standard SAP does not allow assignment of externally numbered HU's.
    Or
Can I assign the HU's a point of Goods Receipt. I see that COWBHUWE allows the process order to be added and then the HU's.
I assume that is HU's were assigned in COWBPACK this would automatically populate when the process order was entered.
Can I just eneter the process order and manually add the HU's.
If not we will have to look at BADI's or custom transaction.
    Thanks in advance
    Stuart

    Hi Vishal,
We will be building the Hu's as we perform the packing packing process order. We pack Box HU's in to a Tote HU.
The Tote HU has a re-usable HU number on (externally number assignment)
We will not use packing instructions to define the Hu structure.
What we need to be able to do is perform a goods receipt of the packed HU's against the process order.
I am starting to think that this is a custom development.
When you use COWBHUWE do you have to have assigned HU's in COWBPACK??
We cannot use COWBAPCK as it does not allow external numbered HU's to be assigned.
    Thanks
    Stuart

  • Import Declaration after goods receipt - Inward Processing Help

Looking for some advice on setting up Inward Processing as I am running into issues.  Our system makeup is this:
    ECC - 617
    GTS - 10.1
One of our facilities is setup so that they have duty deferment for imported components that are used in manufacturing and re-exported within a 36 month period. Based on this requirement we have determined that we could be leveraging the Inward Processing functionality in GTS to manage / track the inventory for duty purposes.  With that being said, this is what I have configured so far.
    Configuration:
Purchase document in ECC is setup to transfer to GTS and create an import customs document, the check box for Customs Services is checked.  The corresponding purchasing document in GTS is activated for compliance and customs services.
Inbound delivery in ECC is setup to transfer to GTS.  I am worried I have done something wrong in this configuration with how it maps in GTS. The document is currently creating a customs document that can be viewed in the import side of compliance.  The document type I mapped in GTS “Inbound Customs Delivery”
Movement type 101B has been configured to come over from ECC to GTS.
I configured in ECC the prelim. Document type T1 and also maintained that doc type in GTS which I mapped as prev. doc cat 01.  I then assigned Service LECTPR with prelim doc type category 01 as duty unpaid and target procedure 01 – Transit.
I configured the authorization for both transit and inward processing, created the “license” for these items, and configured the activity sequence for the matching legal regulation.
    My process has been this:
    Create purchase order in ECC
    Create inbound delivery in ECC
Update inbound delivery with the prelim doc type T1 and doc number / date
MIGO with reference to the inbound delivery (movement type 101 against purchase order stored in MSEG)
In GTS I go to create a customs declaration AFTER goods receipt, but I get a “no data found” information message.  When I debug I can see the that a check is done to pull records from table /sapsll/cuswlo, I have no entries in this table.
I can see all the documents definitely made it over to GTS because they show up in the General List of Display Customs Declaration Quantities and Goods Receipt quantities (/SAPSLL/CUSWLM).  So at this point I have to be missing some key piece of configuration to allow the Import Declaration to create so the goods become available for inward processing. Any ideas on what I should be looking at that could be missing?
    Rachael

Ok, then that's (at least) what you need to fix.
In the Plug-In area, make sure that you've added your Inbound Delivery type to transfer for Customs purposes ("Query Customs Management for Document Type"), and that the technical activation has been turned on for Application MM0B.  For the moment - although it shouldn't make any difference - don't tick to transfer the Inbound Delivery for Compliance Management, or for Placement into Customs Status before GR.
In GTS, make sure that Document Type 'TRLOIM' is active for Transit, and that the Document Type has an active Number Range.  Then check that the Legal Regulation for Transit (TRSxx) is active for your country code and that the Process Template is assigned in the Control Settings.
Then see if the IBD is transferred ok.

    Dave

  • Control on creation of inspection lot during goods receipt against process

    Dear Friends,
When goods receipt against process order  of say quantity 100 Kg is done in PP, inspection lot for the same of origin 04 is created in QM.
My requirement is that PP should be able to post 90 Kg in quality inspection and remaining 10 Kg should directly go to
reserve sample without coming in Quality.
    Is it possible?
I have tried by changing material master record in MM02 for inspection set up data. But it is not serving the purpose.
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards
    Vrish

    Hi,
04 type of inspection is GR at the time of Production Order.
Whenever you do the production order quantity, an inspection lot is created. It will be created for full quantity which you are confirming (i.e. 100 kg will be considered and not 90 kg).
This material will be Quality Inspection.
You have to do Result recording and give usage decision.
While giving usage decision, you can allot 90 kgs to Unrestricted and 10 kgs can go as Sample what you desire.
Hope this will solve your issue.

  • Reverse Goods Receipt for Process Order

    Dear All,
Please tell me how to reverse the Goods Receipt for Process Order for which already QM is cleared for that Particular Lot.
But Confirmation is still yet Pending.
I tried MIGO - Cancel - Material Document. But it is showing a message "Process Order already processed".
    Regards
    buss

    Hi,
    Use t code MB31
    Movement type 102
    Stock type = Unristricted use.
Reverse by entering above information then you have to manually cancel the inspection lot.

  • Partial reversal of a goods receipt from process order

    Dear All
Could anyone please help me with explaining how to do a partial reversal of a goods receipt from process order? If Iu2019m using trans CORS I have to cancel the entire operation, which I donu2019t want to do. If Iu2019m using MIGO and MT 102 I only reverse the goods receipts of the produced material, the corresponding components from the BoM is not reversed with MT 262 as they are if I cancel with CORS, and I donu2019t want to do a second MIGO transaction in which I cancel the components with MT 261. I have also tried to create an operation with a negative quantity, but without any success.
Itu2019s not an option for the business to reverse the entire quantity and then perform a new goods receipt with the right quantity.

    Hi again,
I have been trying to do the reversal with CORR but Iu2019m getting the error message u201CMixed confirmation types (time ticket/time event) are not allowedu201D, message number RU179.

  • Goods Receipt Indicator in Process Order header

    Hi,
I'm trying to find the source of Goods Receipt indicator field in Goods Receipt tab in order header. For a process order, its in the 'Control' section of the page. Its always ticked on even when no confirmation or goods receipts are posted. Help says it indicates the relevancy to inventory management. I just wanted to know if there is a data or a config that drives this field. I checked in Order type-dependant parameters if that is source of this field, but I couldn't find that option there.
    Thanks in advance experts!
    Regards,
    Abhijit

    Hi Abhijit,
The flag is always set for orders settled to a material or a sales order item, as mentioned in help. If the settlement rule is different the flag is not set.
You can do that creating a process order without material (CORO) or changing your settlement profile and not using material as a receiver.

  • Goods receipt from process Order, different plants same warehouse

    Hi All,
Would really apreciate guidence on my issue below.
We plane to implement the following Org Structure:
    Plant A                 Plant B
        Warehouse 0001
warehouse 001 shared by both plants
I execute a process order in plant A, when I perform Goods Receipt against the process order will it show under Plant A or both Plants A & B.
Plant A executes for Plant B as Plant B is new and all master data is set up in Plant A.
My hope is to get the business to execute Plant B process orders in Plant B but this will require huge effort I think as masetr data will need changing etc.
    Thanks
    Stuart

    Hi,
If you post GR in Plant - A, then the stocks in the warehouse will reflect for Plant - A & not in Plant - B.
Although the warehouse is the same, it is linked to the combination of Plant & Storage location. You can check the warehouse stocks using LS26, just specify the warehouse number & material number.
But there is also a concept of planning plant & production plant, so Plant A can be where the planning takes place, while Plant B is where the actual production takes place. In this case, although you produce in Plant B, the GR will be done in Plant A.
    Hope the above clarifies.
    Regards,
    Vivek
