Goods Issue with Serial number reversal

Hi Experts,
I have an item which is set to Inventory Item and Sales Item. I brought it in via Inventory/Good receipts to assign serial numbers.
I realized I used the wrong Warehouse and wrong item Code ( I have 2 codes set the same but for different recording purposes)
Unfortunately did I turn around and created a goods issue with the serial numbers to wash it but I do nee the serial numbers available to do my correct entry. How can I get my Serial numbers back which show no unavailable.
If I try to set the item also as Purchase Item and try to do a return it wont show. Please advice.
Thanks

Hi,
Receive again with correct item code and ware house with same serial number.
If not, Please explain with an example.
Thanks & Regards,
Nagarajan

    Hello,
please have a look there: http://www.adobe.com/products/cs6/faq.html >>> Can I distribute a Creative Suite 6 edition across multiple users or computers? >>> The software license agreement accompanying your product may entitle you to install and activate the software on two systems with certain restrictions. • Goods Issue ./ Serial Number Report

    Guys,
I want to create a report which gives me the Goods Issue details with the items in the goods issue and Serial Numbers processed in those particular goods issues.
The problem is that with the following coding, it is returning all the Serial Numbers related to the particular item available in SAP and not only those relating to that particular Goods Issue.  So if I have a quantity of 2 Serial Numbers for one item, it is not returning to Serial Numbers for that Goods Issue, but it is returning all Serial Numbers of the System under that Item.
I suspect that it is a JOIN problem, what do you think?
    Coding is:
    Select
                        T0.DocDate as 'Goods Issue Date'
,                    T0.DocNum as 'Goods Issue Reference'
    ,                    T1.ItemCode as 'Item Code'
    ,                    T1.Dscription as 'Item Description'
    ,                    T2.IntrSerial as 'Serial Number'
    ,                    T1.OcrCode as 'Cost Centre'
    ,                    T1.LineTotal as 'Total Cost'
    ,                    T1.U_eReasonCode as 'Reason Code'
    ,                    T0.Comments as 'Remarks'
    From
                        OIGE T0 JOIN IGE1 T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry
                                  LEFT OUTER JOIN OSRI T2 ON T1.ItemCode = T2.ItemCode
    Order By
                        T0.DocNum
Many thanks for your work everyone.

    Hi,
You can go to Inventory >>> Inventory Report >>> Serial Number Transaction Report. There are a lot of criteria you can choose to generate your own report.
In your case, choose Dates and Documents tab and then enter your criteria.
    Hope this helps,
    Son.

  • Good receipt with serial number already on stock W

    dear all,
    I have this issue:
Company "A" sent a material (with serial number) to another company "B" in SAP (Intercompany flow) with customer consignment stock (W).
Company B has to post the good receipt for that material but the system shows the error message that the serial number can't be used.
    My question is:
is it possible to post the good receipt for a serial number already used in another plant, special stock W?
    Thank you
    Enrico

    Sorry jurgen:
Serial number 1000152198 cannot be used here
System status ESTO is active (EQU 1000152198)

  • Issue with Serial number inheritance in PP order

    Hi gurus,
We have an issue with inheritaning component material serial no. to header material.
For production order having different header material and component material,on GI, the serial no. assigned to component is inheritated to header material. We can see the serial nos. in order, Header --> Serails Numbers. This functionality has been implemented in BADI 'MB_MIGO_BADI' method POST_DOCUMENT' using FM 'SERNR_ADD_TO_DOCUMENT'.
But, the issue is when the production order is having same header and component material. And on GI, the serial no. is not getting inherited into header material ie., the serial nos. are not visible in production order ,Header --> Serial Number.
Is there any other FM for handling the serial numbers for order having having same header and component material?
Note: The material is serialized material.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Chandra Sekhar.

  • Issue with serial number

I have recently purchased a copy of Dreamweaver CS4, having previously used a different HTML editor (NAMO, as it happens).
Installed it on my laptop while travelling and got started. Serial number entered successfully. Went through a bunch of tutorials successfully.
Decided to use it on my desktop PC when I got home.
Got the message "there is a conflict with this serial number please resolve it" but no indication of how to do so when I tried to enter the serial number on my desktop PC. Understandable: a license registered to one PC shouldn't be used at the same time on another. No issue for me - I'm not a brainiac or an octopus.
However, according to the license agreement it is OK to have a "work" copy as well as a "travelling" or "home" copy, and that's what I need.
Now when I try to use or activate on EITHER computer the serial number is simply X'ed out (yes, I can read and type, Adobe customer support - thanks for your patronising form response)
I submitted a report to Adobe (by the way, if you have not registered as an owner of Dreamweaver I found it impossible to enter a query about Dreamweaver via the "other products" pulldown) which has resulted EVENTUALLY in the case being closed as "resolved" - of course, it isn't, and I am now locked out of the software I paid 8 times as much for as the rather quirky NAMO which had more functionality for an entry-level user such as myself 5 years ago than CS4 does now.
I work for a software company and I can promise Adobe that any organization that treats its customers as shabbily as this, while believing it can charge a price premium, is doomed to fail.
I guess the reason for this posting is partly to vent my frustration and partly in the hope that someone from Adobe customer support will re-open ticket number 203054761 and take it seriously.
    Best,
    Martin.

  • Import new quantity (PO Good Receipt) with serial number

    Hi,
After reading all the threads related to this topic, Iu2019m a bit mixed-up.
If my company is genuine new and Iu2019ve got no quantity in my stock, what is the best way to upload using a Good Receipt, quantities from a PO triggering at the same time creation of Serial Number?
    Thanks
    Stéphane

    Hi Stéphane,
Good Receipt and Good Receipt PO are two different objects.  One is only inventory adjustment. The other is linked to PO.  GRPO would be better but more process would be needed including all PO imports.
    Thanks,
    Gordon

  • Issues with Serial Number?

I bought iWork '05 last July. Recently, I had to reinstall my operating system. When I went to setup iWork again, I inserted the disk and followed standard procedure only to be told, "There is nothing to install". The disk was in there!
I clicked on the iWork icon and a pop up came on the screen offering a trial edition of thirty days or to buy the software. I clicked on buy and tried to add my serial number only to be told it doesn't exist. I kept all my information from when I bought the software last year, so obviously it's correct.
    Now what do I do?

    Welcome to Apple Discussions
Obviously, there's nothing wrong with the serial number, but, the font used for the iWork '05 serial number was a very poor choice, certain numbers & letters are easily confused. Take a look at my user tip, iWork: serial number tip.
Reinstalling the Mac OS won't require reinstalling any software unless you did an "Erase & Install." It doesn't appear you did that be cause the iWork '05 installer is seeing parts left from the previous installation, usually the receipt. When the iWork '05 trial first came out last year, it wasn't understood that all that needed doing was entering the serial number. If any part of the installation was deleted, but not all, trying to reinstall would result in the error you got. I wrote & ammended a tip, Can’t install iWork after using the iWork trial, as we learned how to deal with the situation.

    Hi Arthur,
Try this code ( i had changed only one line of code in your original code)
    Set oGoodIssue = oCompanyDI.GetBusinessObject(oInventoryGenExit)
    oGoodIssue.DocDate = "12/14/2007"
    oGoodIssue.Lines.itemCode = "SR-5155"

    oGoodIssue.Lines.SerialNumbers.InternalSerialNumber = "SR-0000001"
    oGoodIssue.Lines.SerialNumbers.SetCurrentLine 0
    retval = oGoodIssue.Add
    If retval 0 Then
    oCompanyDI.GetLastError errMsg, errMsg2
    sbo_application.messageBox errMsg & " (" & errMsg & ")"
    Else
    sbo_application.messageBox "Success"
    End If

  • MB26 ,CO27 - goods issue components with serial number?

    Hi ,everyone!
I know CO27 and MB26 can do goods issue to production order very easily and quickly!
But It seems CO27 and MB26 can not work well with the component with serial number.
I aslo know MB1A and MB1B can post goods issue for component with serial number. But in MB1A and MB11 , it is very difficult to can material by material number quickly while doing more then 100 components issue to one production order.
And for authorization purpose we restrict MIGO not to use goods issue for production order.
So I want to ask how CO27 and MB26 do goods issue for the component with serial number?
Or there is another ways to goods issue component with serial number to production order easily, exclude MB1A,MB11 and MIGO?
    Thanks for any reply!

    Hi Vivek
We use CO27 for goods issue to production order ,just like MB1A goods issue to production order.
But in the BOM components of the production orders ,some semi finished products are with  with serial numbers ,so we can not use CO27 or MB26 to issue these components with serial numbers to production orders!

  • Goods Issue Stock with serial number to asset

    Hi xperts,
When i GI a stock with serial number to asset (mvmt 241), the serial number is not updated in the asset master. I believe it's due to the asset number has been created before the GI. Is there any way (BADI or user exit) that would allow the serial number to  be updated in the asset master after/during GI postings.
    Thanks in advance.

    HI,
The serial number is not updated in the asset master & there is no user exit for updating the same . You need to maintain it manually in the Asset master through Tcode AS02. Then after that do the GI,then the serial number would get updated automatically when you manually enter Asset code under  account assignment tab.

  • Goods receipt MB01 with serial number problem

    Dear MM Experts,
Iam a PM Consultant and this problem faced me while doing goods receipt from external maintenance order so i will appreciate any help regarding this issue,
In serial number profiles i did the stock check indicator to give an error message if there were incosistinces in stock data,
    now this is the scenario:
after doing an external maintenance order and creating a PO with reference to the maintenance order PR, and also entering the specified serial number in the PO:
    1) Goods Issuing: i used MB1B with movement type 541 and as the serial number already exist and not wrong so it didnt show any error messages and by checking the stock data in MMBE the material was in stock provided to vendor.
    2) Goods Receipt: when using MB01 with movement type 101 and when entering the serial number of the material it gives an error message ALTHOUGH it is the same serial number issued and the same serial number in the PO
This is the error message :
Stock data of serial number G081 not suitable for movement
    Message no. IO231
    Diagnosis
The current stock information for the serial number G081 contradicts the stock information of the movement to be posted. The following stock information is valid for the document and the serial number:               Batch Number Stock data Serial data   C2
Only the first different field for the stock data/serial data is assigned. However, further data may also be inconsistent. To determine whether this is the case, you can start an analysis.
    System Response
Two system responses are possible (set using Customizing): If the case of an error occurring, the assignment of the serial number to this posting procedure is not possible. In the case of a warning, you can, if necessary, transfer the notification.
    Procedure
Assign a serial number which corresponds in your stock information to the stock data of the posting. You can display the serial numbers which can be used using Select serial numbers.
    Any help is appreciated
    Thanks in advance

    Hello,
A possibility to fix serial number status is by running the report RISTEQ07 in SE38 transaction. Please run this report as mentioned in the SAP Note 316868 (point 2).
While running the report please consider following points:
The report does not set any locks on the records to be corrected, in other words, the report should only then be executed in the correction mode if the master records (within the client) are not being used in another (changing) access.
During the search for inconsistent serial numbers, the system assumes that the stock segment is correct and the existence indicator might be incorrect.
In the correction mode, the existence indicator is adjusted (depending on the existence of the stock segment).
The report provides a test option (LP_TEST); if this option is active,  the system only checks whether inconsistencies exist. Corrections are  only carried out if the test mode is deactivated. Option LP_EXTD for the enhanced check should remain deactivated for the first run. In particular, if no inconsistency is recognized, the run should be repeated with the activated option.
Another possibility is to create/post a physical inventory document for the affected material and serial number.
Determine which material serial number is really on stock (physically on stock). You can do this, by either analyzing the history of each Serial Number or by carrying out a physical inventory.
Before posting the Physical Inventory the stock validation of the serial number profile of the material has to be switched off in OIS2 transaction (if it is switched on).
When you do this, you will get a Pop-up, please read the long text and execute the report RISERNR9 which is mentioned there.
After executing this report the inventory can be posted. When this is done please switch stock validation on again and execute report RISERNR9 again.
Perform this inconsistency correction only when you are sure that no one else is working on the system otherwise it could lead to more inconsistencies while the stock validation is switched off. Check SAP Note 612132 for further details.
In another words, you have to:
    Create a physical inventory in MI01 transaction;
    Enter a counted quantity in MI04 transaction;
Define each serial number to each qty on stock.
I hope this information helps you.
    Good  luck,
