Goods Movement & MB01 - Tables Used

I want to know what are the tables and type of data updated in those tables when a goods receipt is posted.
Similarly when goods movement updation is done using MB01 transaction against purchase prder what are the tables involved.

The most important tables involved in MB01 are:
MKPF and MSEG.
If you want all the tables that are updated, then you can run a ST05 trace on the MB01 transaction and find the tables that are updated.

Urgent ! Help in linking Work center to goods movement

hello,
i need help in finding the work center for the goods movement in AUFM. The goods movement AUFM table shows all the goods movement entries but i want to tag it to the corresponding work center. i found out a way to tag it. by linking AFKO - RESB - AFVC - CHRD. But the problem is that if the material on the production order is the material that is finally produced, i cant find a work center for it. Because this material has no entry in the RESB table.
Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

is there a way to have the VORNR field connected to the AUFM goods movement. this will solve the problem of linking the work center . So if someone knows how to link the AUFM entries with the respective VORNR activity ? Please give suggestions.

Laura,
Goods issues are linked as you described because components consumed by a production order have reservations (RESB) and are assigned to an operation (AFVC). Goods receipts, on the other hand, do not have reservations and therefore don't have this link to the work center.
If you are using automatic goods receipt, then one of the operations in the production order will have a control key set up for automated goods receipt (PP03 is the standard, and it's usually the last operation). The business would likely see this work center as being logically tied to the goods receipt of the produced material.

Goods movements overview in co11n

Dear friends,
In production order cofirmation (CO11n) if we click on goods movements button it will take you to new screen with goods movements overview table control. My requirement is that I want to make some quantity fields in table control as display only.
For that I tried
CONFPP01
CONFPP02
CONFPP03
CONFPP04
CONFPP05
CONFPP06
CONFPP07
And BADI WORKORDER_GOODSMVT
But of no use. Can anybody suggest me a BADI, or any other possible solution?

Hi,
I understood that going into GoodsMovemnt overview is being compelled by the Difference between the Actual quantity issued and Planned quantity in BOM for a particular component.
After backfush, still by MB1A, we can post the goods movement against that order. (Movements 261,262)
I hope this alternative is considerable.
Otherwise Please remove the Goods issue storage location in the order or Material master. Then system prompts for this. There u can enter the quantity as u want.

Total goods movement status using structure 'LEDLVSTATDISPHEAD'

Hi,
I'm trying to get the 'Goods movement status' for a Delivery once PGI posting is done. However the tables VBUK & VBUP maintain this status at Sales order line item level. This doesn't give the correct picture in cases where there are more than 1 Delivery for a Sales order line item.
At Delivery level the 'Goods movement status' leads to a structure 'LEDLVSTATDISPHEAD'
Please advice how to get a field value (for goods movement status) using this structure ...

If a goods movement is an goods issue and if its going to reduce the inventory stock/value (goods issue posting causes an update of the consumption statistics of the material) , then its going to be an goods consumption also - ex. issue to a cost center/order
If a goods movement does not affect the inventory value but change in stock, then its only a goods issue - ex. transfer posting
If a goods movement is not an goods issue, but it reduces the inventory stock/value, then its only a goods consumption - ex. receipt of materials in a subcontract PO, here the raw materials is assumed as consumed for the finished product receipt.

Hi! I have a client who is still using the old goods movement transactions in the new ECC system. I would like to confirm whether it is possible at all to receipt inbound delivery (from shipping notification) using any of the old goods movement transactions? I don't seem to be able to find one that work.

Unless you want a new computer, forget about AVCHD. It requires too much muscle to edit comfortably on anything but the fastest computer.
What camera is nice, depends on your budget. Formats that are easy to edit are HDV, DVCProHD (P2) and XDCAM. In the consumer range you could look at the Canon HV40 or XH-A1s, in the prosumer range look at the Panasonic AG-HPX170, Canon XH-H1s, JVC GY-ND250 or Sony HVR Z5 or Z7 and all Sony XDCAM cameras, especially the EX1 and EX3. In the professional range look at the Sony PDW-F355 or upward.

When editing the contents of a table in Design view, is it
possible to move the insertion point out of the table using only
the keyboard--that is,
without having to click the mouse somewhere outside the
table.

This, from DW's F1 help, certainly works for me -
To exit the table, press Control+A three times if the
insertion point is in
a cell, twice if the cell is selected, or once if the table
is selected, and
then press the Up, Left, or Right Arrow key.

Yes we've done that. They've confirmed a problem with the links/scripts on the note. The 10.1 and up version was not really 10.1 and up.
As they would not have a new version available in time for the move we needed to perform, we switched our approach to using dbms_redefinition instead.

Goods movement using bapi BAPI_PROCORDCONF_CREATE_TT

I am using the bapi BAPI_PROCORDCONF_CREATE_TT to confirm the process order and do automatic goods movement. The problem I am facing is it is confirming the process order but goods movement, at times is working and at times is not doing goods movement. Do not know whether its a data issue or I am doing something wrong in the bapi. Pls help on this.

step1: I am creating a process order in COR1.
step2: I am releasing the process order in COR2. Batch is getting assigned automatically.
step3: In tcode COR6N when I am entering the process order, the yield field is getting populated with the order quantity ( quantity created in COR1 ). Then I am moving to goods movement button. There at times I am getting material with movement type 261, then GM is not happening, but if I delete that partucular material with movement type 261 and click save button GM is done successfully.
This when I am doing through bapi, I am getting the confirmation but no GM. Hence in AFRU-WABLNR is coming blank

The total goods movement status not changed after goods receipt using MIGO

Dear gurus:
when i use T-code MIGO doing goods-receipt against Inbound delivery, the total goods movement status don't changed. i tryed VL32N to do goods receipt, and the status changed.
how can i do to make the status change when i receive goods in MIGO against inbound delivery?

If your MM is integrated with WM (SU mgt or HUM) you have to post the GR with Inbound delivery.

Goods movement in a retail using document splitting by profit center

Hello Gurus,
I am in a retail implementation, our requirement is to make a goods moviment from one store to another (where stores are profit centers). But they want to have zero balance document spliting by profit center. (balances by store)
Does any one know how could the document finally be posted if the original movement is:
1000 goods 40 profit center 1
1000 goods 40 profit center 2

Confirmation reversed Using T code CORS, goods movement not posted

i am facing a problem pl help me. I have posted a corfimation by TCODE CORK , and subsequently reversed by CORS.
while forward goods movement posted the reversal did not posted against the Process order. it is not appering in COGI listing.
I can't close the process order. pl guide me to post the unprocess reversal.

Dear Debashis,
Kindly check the material movements in MB51. Enter the date of confirmation as well as confirmation cancellation as selection criteria. Please carefully see all the movements .
Then analyze which movements are not reversed.
And in CORT -Display confirmation You can see the "Cancel" indicator ticked or not for the confirmations you need. If the confirmation reverse is successful then this indicator must be ticked there automatically by the system.
