Goods movements while system status TECO

Hello
I have an issue here.
In standrd system we can make GI & GR when the orders system status is TECO.
I want system should not accept any goods movements ( GI & GR) when the order system status is TECO.
I tried in BS22 to make goods movements forbidden.
I could make it successfully.
what could be other consequences of this action.
whether any body has experience of such situation.
Pl. respond.

I have tried with BS22 in my previous project. i had issues for Goods Movement after Teco.
Finally i got written code on User Exit, and i given the solution.
I prefer using userexit for this functionality

Why not all fields dimmed or show in display mode after system status TECO and CLSD for Project

Dear All,
When Sets the system status TECO or even CLSD all fields for WBS Elements are not goes to Display mode. User can still edit them or change then.
The fields are:
1. WBS Element Description, technical name: PRPS-POST1
2. Person responsible number, technical name: PRPS-VERNR
Other Progress and Customer enhancement tab pages for WBS Element all fields there also editable in TECO and CLSD system status.
The client do not want to set LOCK system status for master data option.
Is there any enhancement or standard way of doing that?

Dear Saqib,
Its a standard behavior of the system. In CLSD status, transactional data like Procurement gets restricted along with WBSE no and its scheduling details. But it allows to you change like WBSE desc./Responsible person.

For locking all master data, as above experts suggest, you should use MDLK/LKD.

Goods Movement and Billing status at header level

Hello,
Im new to this topic and have some very basic questions
Will WBSTK field be updated with goods movement status for a given sales order number in VBUK table ?
Similarly, will FKSTK/FKSTK or BUCHK will be updated with billing status ?
I know that for a given delivery document number, I can track the status at the item level.
But my aim is to know the overall goods movement and billing status at the order header level.
Any clues will be of great help.

Hi Preethi,
A sales order does not determine a billing status for delivery related billing, field VBUK-FKSTK is only determined for delivey.
Just because of this, you will not find billing status field in VA03 -> goto header;
you could only find billing status field for delivery in VL03N -> status overview.

You can set/unset TECO status in transaction CO02. Ignore any warning message concerning change. Then, Functions>Restrict Processing>'Technically complete' or 'revoke technical completion'. Save

System status TECO only on parent level.

Following is my scenario.
This is how my project structure looks.
Level1 WBS1
Level2 WBS1.1
Level3 WBS1.1.1
Level3 WBS1.1.2
Now I had to make the system status TECO on level 1 i.e WBS1 but not on the child level.What I mean to say that I had to only make the System status TECO on parent level not on the child level.
Is there any function module where I had to make any enhancement or is there any configuration.I don't want to use User ststus here.

I do not think it is possible, as TECO system status is a standard functionality. If you are looking for some business requirements then either use user status or some validation to achieve this.

System Status TECO should update automatically in Maintenance Order

Our Client has a requirement in the Maintenance Order.
Whenever we confirm the Last Open Operation in the Order, the system status should automatically update to TECO.

Fairly old thread now but... (Wanted to share some info here for anyone interested)
Correct and accurate, using any of these FM:
STATUS_CHANGE_INTERN
STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN
or IBAPI_ALM_ORDER_TECO_SET
This will definitely work as I have used them and this did work then.
What I would do is this:
- Check in chosen User-Exit if all needed prerequisites are meet for the operations first of course
- If this is possible during the saving process then just use say FM STATUS_CHANGE_INTERN for the update. Commit will then not be needed as we are in "IW32"-transaction mode already.
- If the above is not possible then I would create a FM that is called in "in update task" from the very same User-Exit with the Order number as importing parameter. What will happen is that the Order will first be saved and then the FM will be running afterwards.
Process now:
- Call the FM from the User-Exit "in update task" with the Order number as importing parameter
- Wait for Order to be saved (first try to lock, if locked: wait x secs, try to lock again etc, when OK to lock -> unlock again)
- Read sufficient Order data to determine if prerequisites are met
- Use say FM STATUS_CHANGE_INTERN for the update (here OBJNR can be read from table AUFK for the Order number)
- Remember to do a COMMIT"

1. Backflush indicator is set for all the components
2.Order confirmation parameters , just check out Goods movement .
3. Production scheduling profile - check auto gr

Plz look for my senerio->I have a single Mnt.Order in which different operations carried out from different departments like civil,electrical,mechanical.Its like one project in PS.Now I assiged different Workkcenter/Cost Centers to respective operations.Now after confirmation,when I look the Cosing Report system shows the activity Cost departmentwise as its linked to workcenter/cost center,but material cost how it will get posted different departments?
Manually by 261->Order+Costcenter...I can post it but there is problem in Auto Goods Movement

Goods Movement After Order TECO'd

Hello All - Question is part MM and part PM. It involves a TECO (technically complete status) on a workorder and the ability to perform a goods issue to the workorder.
Is there configuration to allow a goods movement (GI) to a TECO'd workorder if the material in question has been reserved/requisitioned on the workorder prior to it being TECO'd?
I'm quite certain that goods issues to TECO'd workorders are permitted PROVIDED the material request was on the workorder prior to it being TECO'd. There must be configuration somewhere that allows/disallows this because at this client site, NO goods movements are allowed after the order is TECO'd.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Technical Completion of an Order
Use
You usually complete an order technically once the maintenance work planned in the order has been performed.
Features
You use the technical completion of an order to define the following information for the order:
u2022     The order obtains the status Technically completed. The order is marked as complete for Plant Maintenance.
u2022     Now you can only make the following changes:
o     Lock and unlock the order
o     Set the deletion flag
o     Post goods receipts for the order
u2022     You can still enter confirmations for a technically completed order. In order to prevent this, you must create a user status that does not permit confirmations.
u2022     The storage location and account assignment data entered for the order are fixed and can no longer be changed. However, the order can still receive costs, for example, through incoming invoices for materials delivered and used.
If no settlement rule has yet been maintained for the order, the system creates one automatically. If missing data makes this impossible, the system takes you to the screen for maintaining the settlement rule.
u2022     All the existing purchase requisitions for the order are flagged for deletion.
u2022     All the existing reservations for the order are cleared.
u2022     All outstanding capacities which have been scheduled for the order are cleared.
u2022     All the notifications for the order are also completed, unless prevented for one of the following reasons:
o     The Complete notifications indicator was not set in the Complete dialog box.
o     One or more tasks have not been completed.
o     A user status in the notification prevents it from been completed.
u2022     If the order was created using a maintenance plan, the date of the technical completion will be used for the further Scheduling of the Maintenance Plan.
You can make changes to the maintenance process procedure when completing orders. You can, for example, prevent all users that are allowed to complete orders and notifications from using this data simultaneously to change the scheduling of maintenance plans. For more information, see Separate Completion of Maintenance Call Dates.

Restricting Goods Movement after TECO in PP

Hi All,
I want to restrict logistical movements after TECO status in Production Order. After searching all the threads in this forum, the best answer so far is to maintain the system status characteristics via t-code BS22.
My question is, does changing TECO behavior via BS22 impact any other modules such as CS or SD? BS22 seems to be the t-code to control all system statuses in SAP.
Please help to shine some light on this matter.

Hi Susan,
As soon as a work order is technically completed, any open purchase requisitions or reservations against the work order are automatically closed. It is assumed that the materials are no longer required.
To assist our maintenance planners we implemented the following checks in user exit EXIT_SAPLCOIH_004 - PM Order: Customer Exit for Technical Completion Event
We search for any unconverted purchase requisitions or open reservations against the work order and displaye them in a dialog box, giving the user the option to cancel the technical completion if he/she realises that the materials should have been issued against the order before it was closed. At least they are made aware of any outstanding planned materials and can make an informed decision on whether the close the order or not.
We also put in code to check the order costing and warn the user if there are costing errors that should be resolved.

It would not be possible to enter any cost with status TECO. TECO itself mean Technical Complete.
You need to remove the status TECO in order to enter any cost to the Internal Order.

1. go to tcode BS22 (Maintain: System Status)
2. look for the system status TECO.
3. Double click the field "TECO".
4. in the transaction control tab look for the business transaction "RMWA" or goods movement (you can type it in the lower left corner buttom box).
5. select the radio button from "Allowed" to Disallowed".
6. save your changes.

System status and user status Priority

Hi All,
We have system status and user status for the production order, I would like to know which has higher priority.
E.g In system status some business activity are not allowed but at the same time for user status those activites are active, then which status has high priority.

As per my understanding both the status work together. If User status forbids a business transaction and system status allows it, then also the business transaction cannot be carried out.
Also if system status forbids a business txn and user status allows that, then also you wont be able to carry out the txn.
Both work with "AND" condition.

Added: you can try it by creating a User status profile. Allow Goods Movement to CRTD status. Now dont release the production order, only save it. Then try issuing goods (261), the system will block you.
Now, other way round, forbid GR without confirmation. Though System Status allows GR without CNF or PCNF status, but the user status will forbid the transaction.
