Goods receipt for credit note

Hi,
We received a credit note assigned to a purchase order. How can we post a corresponding credit goods receipt?

You can  use T-code: FB65  and  MIRO for  Sub Debit/Credit note.(Creditnote)

    Check the control keys of the operations in order 619271463. Change the control keys in such a way, that an automatic goods receipt occurs for one operation only.
    production order is confirmed  but it cann't be delivered automatically.

    Hi,
    In normal scenario in a production order each routing operation will consist a control key with settings for automatic goods reciept.
    So in a production order you can use only one control key with automatyic goods recipt. This will be the last operation of the order. From message mentioned by you it is showing as may u have mentioned auto goods reciept for more than one operation.
    PP01 is normal confirmation control key & PP99 is for milestone with auto goods reciept. PP95 - w/o milestone with auto GR.
    Please check control key & correct it.

    Really thanks for your prompt reply.
    i solved this issue, as what u said, it is not released in IW31, at the time of PR creation. So i asked the User to go to IW32 anc choose the apprpriate order and change mode and click on Flag Icon to release.

  • Goods receipt for subcontract does not erase requirement in MD04

    Hi,
    I have a subcontract material for example X which is built of 3 components - A,B & C.
    Initially the BOM in the Purchase Order of X did not have any component. I mistakenly posted a goods receipt and realized that the requirement were not getting deleted from MD04 of the components. There after to correct this, I reversed the goods receipt and populated the BOM with components A, B & C and again posted goods receipt for the subcontract material X.
    When I receive material X, the requirement still exists in the stock requirement list (MD04) of A, B & C.  I also went to Transaction ME2O and saw that the stock at the vendor did not get reduced.
    I have checked the Goods Receipt material document and the components A, B & C have a movement type of 543 O. In MB51 Goods movement for the components, I can see the deduction from the vendor.
    Why are the requirements not getting deleted from MD04 of A, B & C and why is not  the component stock at the vendor getting reduced?
    For all other orders, the requirements get erased in MD04 of A, B & C when I receive X
    Please help me out with this issue.

    Goto Transaction CJ02.
    Now goto Edit button in Menu.Click on Status , then System/User Status.
    Here u can find the current status of Project.
    Later once again goto CJ02.
    Now goto Edit button in Menu.Click on Status -- Release.
    Once released u will be able to post GR.

    Hi,
    I guess it the goods receipt is against a PO having an asset or used an Internal order .In the Internal order control data Goods receipt allowed indicator has not been set. Please see the order in KO03 and check the allowed transactions. If GR (RMWE) is not there than ask your CO team for the needfull change after which take up GR.

    I have created an internal order to collect expense within the order.
    When I tried to reverse an GR against the PO created with the internal order assigned, the following Error occured.

    The order was previous TECOed, and change it's status to Release, but still have the error.

    REL  AVAC BUDG GMPS
    but the error changed while reverse the document
    item 0001 Order is invalid.

    Hi all;
    In Vl02n in goods issue steps i have a message "Goods receipt for purchase assignments has not been posted"
    -the purchas order is assined to items delivery correctelly!
    -in our case, we haven't a stock.
    -after goods issue in vl02n we have tow goods mvt (101 for goods receipt) and (601 for goods issue) for the same quantity.
    so can you tell me how to solve this problem

    No i don't talke abouat STP i don't have any transit stock it's a simpl sales based on global purchas
    -first with me21n i created global purchas order
    -the sales will be picked from this purchas .
    -delivery is assigned automatically to this purchas order  with user exit.
    -with vl02n in goods issue steps there is tow operations ( stock mvt 101 in purchas assignement and a normal 601 for delivery )

    Please check the WBS element in CJ03, in Basic Data, System status,
    Is the WBS is not released or blocked.

    While doing so am getting an error as " goods receipt  for purchase order not allowed(wbs element)".

    Message no. O1573
    Diagnosis
    Certain fields needed for posting Goods Receipt have not been entered.
    System Response
    The goods receipt for Purchase Assignment was not posted.
    Procedure
    Check the error log and make the required entry.
    process Step by steps:
    1- create PO (intercompany PO) --> save
    2- create SO to sell to endcustomer (at receiving company)
    3- create DO
    4- assign the previewous PO to DO  (exchange function)
    5- PGI ---> problem as above

    In this case,  if I enter itemcategory "U" into PO I can post GR and GI at the same time I do PGI. but you know if I use "U" which mean I can't enter the net price as normal because this is a "stock transfer".
    Is there any ideal for this?

    PO is already released. I used posting period that was in the config 10/2006 9/2006. Then when I tried to Post in MB01 I get this error. How to change the status of object 'WBS D-GNP-051001-02-1-1' to allow the transaction 'Goods receipt for purch. order'?

    You have to do budgeting against that WBS.
    For this first do the cost planning and copy the cost planning as budget.
    then after budget you have to release this budget to use for transaction.
    Check whether that particular WBS is indicated as planning element or account assignement element.
    It should be account assignment element otherwise it will not allow to raise any PO.
    And set the status of WBS as Unblock (UBLK) otherwise it will show tax code missing and status BLK error message.
    Comeback for further clarifications.

  • Doing a goods receipt for a customer material that is ASEQ status

    We are needing to find a way to be able to do a goods receipt for a child part in ASEQ status.  Most of our customers will send in their part after disassembling it themselves.  Since we can not receive the part our present process is to dismantle so the system status changes to ESTO and we can receive.  The problem with this is that the end user forgets to assemble the part back and we end up breaking the linkage.
    We have looked into using User Status in the equipment master and have configured that.  However the user status button, nor name shows up in the equipment master.  I have looked at the field selection in IMG and it is not hidden.  I am assuming it is being supressed by a user exit we have.
    Can anyone give me any suggestions on how we can improve the process using SAP for material that is ASEQ status and being able to create an inbound delivery so we can receive in our warehouse for this status without dismatling the unit?

    You lost me while describing your current process, so  please provide more details as to how you dismantle and reinstall etc.  Also how the part goes back to the customer.
    However I can provide you  clarifications to some questions you raised..
    You see both system and user statuses in the field 'Status' itself. This is the 3rd row in the Equipment display screen under Equipment number and Description. If you see carefully you will see 2 sections, the one on left is system status and the one on right is User status. If you click on the i (info) icon, you will be taken to a screen where you see more info like status and business processes etc.
    ASEQ is a system status and it is determined by what you did ( example dismantling) and can't be changed by you (user). If you see the 'Business Processes' tab, you will also see the this won't allow assignment to a Delivery and so on. So my point is having a user status will not help you. Based on the combination of system and user statuses, some processes are permitted, some not. For example if Goods Receipts are allowed, may be you can receive without an Inbound delivery.  I am mentioning this as a thought initiator, I know you will have a Return/Repair order process including a return delivery.
    I guess you have to systematically prevent the user from  doing whatever they are doing out of turn, e.g., forgetting to reassemble (install?) and for this User statuses can help.
    Let us know your process more in detail and I am sure SAP will have a standard way to receive a child part of a big assembly. Other members will share their practices also.
