Goods Receipt in STO with delivery ( SD Route ) problem

Hi,
there is issue related to Goods Receipt in STO with delivery ( SD Route)
here
1. PO with delivery is created ( SD rote )
2. with reference to above STO outboud delivery & PGI is done
but after this Goods Receipt is done but outbound delivery document is not updated.
Note : as per my understanding here user has done Goods Receipt against STO PO instead of Outbound delivery.
so please guide me so in the future user can not do Goods Receipt against STP PO in the case of STO with delivery cycle. only user can do Goods Receipt against outbound delivery.

You have to ensure in your organizational processes that there is no switch between Transactions MB0A/MIGO and VL32/VL32N. please read the note 199703.

    Dear experts
    In case of STO, the material is Split valuated (Say RM local & RM Import). STO is created for 1000 qty with Valuation type of RM local.
    But delivery is done in 2 steps with both the valuation types (say for e.g 1st delivery with valuation type RM Import and 2nd with RM Local)
    When I do the goods receipt against the Outbound delivery, in Std system, it will fetch the valuation type entered in STO (PO), but the requirement is to take from Delivery.
    Please suggest Solution for this (BADI or any User exit)

    The requirement is such that client does not want to split the Quantity in PO, as they don't know how much quantity will be delivered from different valuation types. So that SAP note may not be helpful

  • How to post good receipt for an inbound delivery with HU in the stock?

    Hello,
    We have an inbound delivery of a purchase order with 10 Handling Units inside on.
    The HU's has been put in a storage bin (by transport order + confirmation) before a good receipt has been posted for the whole delivery.
    Due to this it's not possible to post good receipt for the inbound delivery, and the available stock quantity is in minus on zone: '902-GR Area External Rcpts' since  the handling units are already in a storage bin.
    Can anyone help me on this matter?

    my situation is:
    - a WM managed warehouse, society A;
    - a HU managed warehouse (without WM), society B;
    - a purchasing process of HU from society A towards society B.
    Society B have a scheduling agreement; when a delivery schedule appears, in society A born a sales order and a delivery. After the registration of the delivery good issue, an idoc transfer information for inbound delivery creation.
    This process is ok without WM, but with a WM managed warehouse the idoc has the following problem:
    "V51VP - item was not found - process cancelled".
    Can you help me to transfer these HU?

    I created STO from ME21N tr.code(document type:UB), then I created outbound delivery from VL10B tr.code based on STO.
    After that, goods issue is made by vl02n.Lastly , when I want to make  a goods receipt based on outbound delivery from MIGO
    (with mvmt type:101),it gives me error about"Goods receipt not possible for   delivery 80016425: error code 4   in MIGO tr.code" .

    Error 4 indicates there is/are no delivery item/items.
    Check following options:
    option-1--->Check material number extended to the both plants with storage locations
    option-2--->Check the material received already WRT  the delivery
    option-3---> Check confirmation control key in  material that needed in creation of an inbound delivery to have GR process
    option-4--->Check The latest goods receipt date in STO
    option-5--->Check(done any setting) if any billing to be done after PGI and then can do GR WRT delivery

    In OSS note 520813 it is said:
    16. Question:
    Which goods movements should I not post using the BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE BAPI?
    Answer:
    You should not post the goods receipt for the inbound delivery using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE BAPI because the document base and the status of the inbound delivery are not updated. See Note 199703.
    If you check OSS note 199703 you can see that it is valid from release 45 to release 500.
    Assigned to this note you can find another: 1050944 (it's worth of reading!!!).
    I feel there are contradictions here - it might possible that the first note (520813) is not updated properly. (As far as I remember in my case this BAPI was working properly too).
    In my opinion you should send a message to OSS and ask them whether the statement in note 520813 is still valid or not - you should also tell them that the referred note (199703) is not applicable to ECC6.0.
    (there's a setting in ECC6.0 which enables that document flow is updated if GR is posted via MIGO with reference to IBD - V_TVSHP-SPE_INB_VL_MM)
    I would like to ask you if you have a reply from them, please update this thread - it may be helpful for us.

    One more remark: (based on OSS note 1050944) it seems that you cannot use it only in case of packing (IBD with HU).

  • BAPI o FM for posting goods receipt of an inbound delivery

    Hi
       I have a program that post a goods receipt for an inbound delivery using batch input of transaction VL32 (in the first screen of this trx pushing button "Post Goods Recepit"). We need to change it for a BAPI o FM that makes the same process. I've seen other threads of the same issue that makes reference to BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE. I've checked it using value 05 of GM_Code
    (other goods receipt) but it doesn't work (I think the movement type I using is not compatible with the code 05). Can anybody tell me if this BAPI can do what i need? In that case, anybody have an example code?  I've seen other FM: MB_CREATE_GOODS_MOVEMENT. Is that a better choice? Example code will be much appreciated

    Check whether there is any BTE from FIBF and use it accordingly.
    Also check from SWEL whether any event is getting published when the GR is being done.
    If none of the above works try to find some user Exit where you can code the needful.

    When going in details of error messgae:
    For error 4 : Check the delivery and its document .
    Document flow is as below:
    Step 1. PO Created
            2. Delivery created with ref to PO
            3.Picking
            4. Shipment Created
            5. Goods Issue complete.
    Now what i have to check.

                          In Intra Company STO with Delivery and Billing, pls help to map this scenario:
    During PGI Supplying plant stock a/c credited. and debited to some interim a/c.
    During GR at receiving plant this interim a/c credited against the receiving plant stock a/c.
    This issue mainly arose b'cause in ordinary cases during PGI itself the stock a/c value updated, even when the goods r in Stock in transit.

    During Intra company Stock trasfer below acc. entries happen:
    at the time of PGI 
    movement type (641)
    Stock A/c receiving plant : debit (BSX +)
    Stock A/c issuing plant : credit (BSX -)
    But at the time of receiving goods (GR) at receing plant:
    only impact the inventory entries. No accounting entries.

    Hi
    We are creating STO without delivery. Goods issue (mvt type 351) for STO is posted via portal using BAPI.
    We then want to post goods receipt for full quantity using movt type 101. Is there any std program available to be used in batch job to post goods receipts for STO? This way we will be able to do auto goods receipts.
    Any help will be highly appreciated.

    That is the requirement of my scenario
    That is happening in intercompany posting.
    I am explaining to you.
    say total stock for article AR is 1000 ( In DC --A it is 500 and in store B it is 500)
    I have two company codes X and Y
    One DC (A) belongs to X and second store (B) belongs to Y.
    I have stock available for say article ( am working here in IS Retail  instead of material ) in both DC --A and Store --B.
    Now I have created PO thru replenishment planning WRP1 , now in PO supplying plant is DC.
    Now I did delivery thru VL10B and then picking and then PGI.
    Now my stock is reduced in DC by PO quantity created.( let us assume it is 100)
    So now total stock in DC=400
    Now this stock is in transit we can check thru MB5T. so total stock in transit = 100
    Now I have to do GR against delivery , if I will do GR for 100 nos , there will be no stock in transit
    and stock of receivibg store (B) will increase by 100 nos.
    But I am not able to do GR against delivery so I did GR against PO for say 50 nos. In this case stock in store is increase by 50 nos.
    But there is another stock in transit available=50
    Now why GR is not happening against delivery but it is happening against PO???
    Any pointers

    Hi Everyone,
    Currently I am doing Intercompany STO with Delivery and Billing, which is working perfetly fine.
    We create 1 Purchase order for 1,00000 LB and it will be finish after 6 months ( we provide schedule to supplying plant weekly for next 6 month, how much they have to ship ) Some times we received less quantity from supplying plant lets say weekly they have to sent 100 LB but they sent only 85 LB in last week of month and I have to close the sales.
    In this can I use Return STO process ? I dont want to adjust quanity in next shipment because I have to close sales.
    Some times at the time of GR we found that they have send 85 qty and sometimes we finished GR and Invoice then we get to know later that qty was less.
    Return process
    - Create return PO with Returns check in PO (NB)
    - Create delivery , Vl10B
    - PGI
    - Credit memo
    is this right process?

    Correct process :
    - Create return PO with Returns check in PO (NB)
    -GR with 161 MVT  type
    - Create delivery , Vl10B
    - PGI
    - Credit memo
    Returns :
    Case 1 - At the time of GR
    Case 2 -  GR and Invoice both done
    You can follow same process to the both scenarios as you are creating new PO for returns.

    Say after u get the order for customer u depot dont have ABCD material
    1 Depot Plant Create sto Me21n for ABCD from mfg plant say 45000012
    2 MFG plant send the material against STO VL10B out bound delivery 500000452
       Do picking and PGI VL02N  for OBD 500000452 and get PGI document number 490000245
    3 MFG plant Creates Excise invoice against this PGI document (490000245)J1IS say EI 000231 date 31/12/09
    4 Depot plant do GR against Sto or OBD MIGO and create entry for RG23D reg wrt Excise invoice recived form MFg plant (enter same excise number(000231 date 31/12/09) that is send by mfg plant in excise invoice number and date)
    at this stage ur RG23D reguster has ABCD against EI 000231
    Create a Saleas order VA01
    Create outbound delivery VL01N
    do Picking VL02N
    Do PGI VL02N
    Create Excise invoice for customer J1IJ against delivery (in this u will have to select the excise invoice (000231)against which u have Purchased the material so that same excise values are forwarded to the cstomer)
    Creat bill VF01

    same process
    only while creating Excise invoice in J1IJ create against material document for PGI
    and recive the materia in mfg plant as normal against STO pr outbound delivery.
