Goods Receipt using Inbound Delivery with reference to Outbound Delivery

Here is our scenario that we need help finding a solution:
1.  Multiple Intracompany POs created
2.  On the confirmations tab of the POs, we have u201CInbound Deliveryu201D Selected because the items need to be received in with Handling Unit management.
3.  We have the Order Combination box checked on the shipping tab to allow 1 delivery to be created for multiple purchase orders.
4.  We create only 1 Outbound Delivery for only available items on various purchase orders.
5.  Due to being handling unit managed, we need to receive the items using an inbound delivery.
Problem:  We need to find a solution to easily enter an outbound delivery number which will allow us to receive only the parts that were shipped (issued), via the inbound delivery process.
If we remove the confirmation control key, we can complete a Goods Receipt for Outbound Delivery in MIGO u2013 but is there a way to complete a goods receipt using an inbound delivery with reference to an Outbound Delivery?
Thank you for the help.

Hi,
You can work with Inbound delivery created via IDOC Triggered from Outbound Delivery, this will carry the HU Data as well. Please refer this wonderful note, which will explain you a lot of things,  Note 1119073 - FAQ: Automatic inbound delivery creation for stock transfers
There are other notes also available for Inbound delivery creation with HU in STO, please browse the notes, if you find any difficulty.

  • Create Inbound Delivery with reference to Outbound Delivery

    Hi Team,
Can anybody describe the process needed to be able to Create an Inbound Delivery with reference to an Outbound Delivery.
Also, can the whole inbound delivery creation process be automated?
    Thanks.

Inbound Delivery can be created wrt :
    Purchase order
    Shipping notification
    Customer return
    and
Outbound Delivery can be created wrt:
Goods shipment based on a sales order
    Stock transfer order
    Goods return (to the vendor)

  • Can we create inbound delivery with refernce to outbound delivery?

    Dear all,
can we create inbound delivery with refernce to outbound delivery?
    Regards
    ahmad

    Dear Ahamed
I beleive it is a stock movement between 2 different plants
If so then the receiving plant will have to do GR against the outbound delivery only
The outbound delivery of the supplying plant
The  outbound delivery of the supplying plant will not become the inbound delivery of the receiving plant in SAP
    But logically yes
Your second post talks about outbound delivery only and that is correct
My point is your proces doesnot involve inbound delivery at all
In STO there is no inbound delivery at all
Inbound delivery in SAP means shipping notification that means the confirmation from the vendor about the despatches
That will not have  muck material details and it is just a confirmation
Meaning of inbound delivery from SCM 601 logistics execution
The goods receipt process using inbound deliveries realistically maps standard
processes in many companies. If the vendor announces the goods receipt with a
shipping notification, the inbound delivery can be created either manually or
automatically on the basis of the shipping notification. It contains information
transmitted by the vendor concerning the expected delivery times and quantities,
as well as any information about packaging. It is also the reference document for
the subsequent putaway using a transfer order. If you also use the transportation
function as part of Logistics Execution, you can summarize inbound deliveries
    into inbound shipments.

  • Good receipt with reference to outbound delivery document

    Hello Gurus,
Could someone please help with the following scenario?
Article 1234 has base unit of measure pc, altenative measure box, 1 box = 12 PC
In the purchase order (stock transfer order from one site to another site) 4 box of article 1234 is ordered. Outbound delivery created with reference to the above purchase order (stock transfer order) has quantity of 4 boxes (this is copied from PO). And then an transfer order is created with reference to the above outbound delivery and quantity requested is 4 boxes (copied from outbound delivery), but in the transfer order confirmation the confirmed quantity is 14 pcs (this is now confirmed with base unit of measure). And now if we check the outbound delivery doc, the confirm quantity is 14 pcs (1,167 box )
But when creating good receipt with reference to the outbound delivery document, the quantity confirmed is now 14.004 pcs (this is calculated with unit of measure conversion table, i guess). But actually good receipt quantity should be 14 pcs instead of 14,004 Pcs!
What can we do in order to have 14 pc in good receipt?
Thanks in advance for your great help.
    Br, Ailleen

    Hi,
Thanks a lot for both of your answers. But if is there a way to receive 14 pcs instead of 14.004 pc although the system did the right calculation according to the conversion rules!
But in this case the supplying plant has issued 14 pcs but receiving plant has received 14,004 pcs and now there is discrepancy! Is there some enhancement or user exit could fix the situation or do I have to change the coding in order to solve this problem!
Thanks again for you helpful advice!

  • BADI/user exit to be used EIPO-TEXT1 field of the outbound delivery line item?

    Hi ABAPERS,
Need some help on an enhancement with reference to outbound delivery in SCM module.I have a requirement for an enhancement to ensure that the License Check is performed for each Delivery Item based on the Material`s Export Control Parameters and updating the license number identified against each of the line item in the outbound delivery in a predetermined field.
Basically, Using enhancement, find the appropriate License based on the information fetched from the Delivery Document and check if this is matching with the available License Information. Then the appropriate License fetched should be visible in the License Log of the Delivery Document.
The valid License No. fetched should be updated at the Delivery Document Item – Foreign Trade – Comments Tab-Description Field 1.(ie. populate the license T606Z-GENNR in EIPO-TEXT1 field of the outbound delivery line item.).
Could you please advise on the BADI/user exit to be used in this case. Request your inputs.

I found the solution myself. I was actually not needing a user-exit to do this. I just simply solved it by using function modules READ_TEXT and SAVE_TEXT in a customer program.
    Regards.

  • Post Goods Receipt for Inbound Delivery using WHSCON IDoc

    Dear All
Currently I am working on a big project dealing with EDI connections to our logistics partner for the Export business. The entire message flow between Lindt and our partner should be via EDI. Our SAP release is (still) 4.6c.
We will create two kinds of despatch advice messages, one for inbound deliveries and one for outbound deliveries for customers.
I would appreciate your support in the following problem that I am facing with the inbound delivery scenario:
We create stock transport orders (purchase orders, POs) for the goods intended to be delivered into the plant at our partner
We create a delivery (type NL = replenishment delivery) for this POs
As soon as we post the goods issue we send the despatch advice (as EANCOM D96A DESADV message) to our partner.
At this point the delivery is basically completed, i.e. packing status (PS) and goods movement status (GM / GS) are equal to 'C' (= completed).
Our logistics partner uses the same EDI message to send us the goods receipts data, e.g.:
    We dispatched 50 units of a product => QTY:50:12
The partner received indeed 50 units => QVR:50:66
Please note that we do not use the QVR segment for the quantity difference (between despatched and received quantity) but it contains the received units. This way we avoid negative values in the QVR segment.
When the logistics partner sends back the DESADV message containing the received quantities (QVR segment) we want to make
the goods receipts for the products in the original stock transport order and
upate the message flow in the delivery
My idea was to transform the incoming DESADV message into a WHSCON.DELVRY03 IDoc based on the documentation in: [Delivery Interface|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm40/helpdata/en/e2/654b15a9f411d184ec0000e81ddea0/content.htm]
In the delivery header control E1EDL18 I used QUALF = 'PGI' (Post goods issue).
I prepared an inbound WHSCON IDoc according to the documentation mentioned below. I managed to get some feedback from the Idoc processing implying that the system tried to do the goods receipt in the PO but failed.
To make a long story short here are my questions:
Can an inbound WHSCON IDoc used for doing both the goods receipt in the PO and the update of the message flow in the delivery?
Does anybody have an example on how to fill the WHSCON IDoc?
    Or is my approach a cul-de-sac ?
    Kind Regards
       Uwe
PS: A related question can be found here: Goods Receipt in PO AND Message Flow Update in Inb. Delivery using WMMBXY

    Hi Uwe,
Can an inbound WHSCON IDoc used for doing both the goods receipt in the PO and the update of the message flow in the delivery?
The binary answer would be no. You should use WMMBXY or MBGMCR instead.
But if we are doing goods receipt against Inbound delivery then answer is YES with additionally E1EDL18-QUALF = 'PIC' populated. But please remember no partial receipt is possible against Inbound Delivery.
We should populate E1EDL20-VBELN with our Inbound delivery number and line item info should go to E1EDL24.
I have done a similar interface recently where we are doing receipt against Inbound delivery. But our case was a bit complex because we had to support against Inbound delivery. So we had to go for a custom solution on top of IDOC_INPUT_DELVRY.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have more questions.

  • Create Inbound Delivery with Reference to PO using Serial Numbers

    I guys.
I didn't find any BAPI  to create an Inbound Delivery with Reference to PO using Serial Numbers so I've made a Function Module with BDCData.
      LOOP AT serial.
        ADD 1 TO ld_count.
        ld_value = serial-sernr.
        CONCATENATE  'RIPW0-SERNR(' ld_count ')' INTO ld_field.
        PERFORM bdc_field USING ld_field ld_value.
      ENDLOOP.
This works fine for 10 entries, but when I'm trying to use 1000 entries in serial Internal Table I'm getting the error: Screen 0000 is too large for internal batch input area - Message no. 00379.
Please note that my issue is the Serial numbers, so don't answer me please with BAPIs that doesnt allow me to deal with this.
    Any idea?
    Thanks in advance,

As I expect, it solved my problem. It's not pretty, but it works...
      PERFORM bdc_dynpro      USING 'SAPLIPW1'       '0200'.

        ld_tabix = sy-tabix.
        IF ld_next = 'X'.
          CLEAR ld_next.
          ld_count = 2.
        ELSE.
          ADD 1 TO ld_count.
        ENDIF.
        ld_value = serial-sernr.
        CONCATENATE  'RIPW0-SERNR(' ld_count ')' INTO ld_field.
        PERFORM bdc_field USING ld_field ld_value.
        ld_valor = ld_tabix + 17.
        ld_valor = ld_valor MOD 18.
        IF ld_tabix NE 1 AND ( ld_tabix EQ 19 OR ld_valor EQ 0 ).
          ld_next = 'X'.

    Hi,
    Thanks for your quick reply..
I have a outbound delivery with 100 EA, now system automaticallly generates a Inbound delivery for 100EA using output message.  Now we need to generate partial goods receipt for the inbound delivery, mean first 20, then 40 and the remaing.

  • Goods receipt for inbound delivery

    Hi,
I'm using idoc  DELVRY03 in order to post a goods issue. And It's working very well.
I want to make a goods receipt for an inbound delivery using idoc DELVRY03. When I use this idoc for this (To make a goods receipt), my delivery can't be updated any more (Just like if the goods issue was done) and Its status are updated. And I can't to make the goods receipt manually. But the stock isn't updated, No item document is generated, and the quantity received is still equal to 0.
Can any one please tell me if there is a special thing I need to do in order It works. And If It's not possible, to make the goods receipt using delvry03, what's the idoc type allowing to do this.
    Thanks in advance

  • Missing Goods receipt for inbound using VL32N

    Hello All:
An inbound was posted into our system (version ECC 6.0) as complete, but the goods receipt shows a zero qty. and value.   I have traced the error that caused this to the value missing on the material master & also the conversion for units of measure was missing for the qty. they entered on the inbound.
I have attempted to reverse the Goods receipt but get the error "Qty and / or "delivery completed" ind. or final issue ind. are missing
    Message no. M7264"
    With the Diagnosis listed as:
    Diagnosis
The quantity and inward delivery completed or final issue indicator are missing for an item, for which a goods movement should be posted via the function module MB_CREATE_GOODS_MOVEMENT.
My goal is to either reverse this or complete the GR with qty and value within the delivery.  Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
    Best regards,
    Laura

    HI ALL,

  • Goods receipt against process order with inbound idoc

    Hi Experts,
We need to post good receipt against process order with movement type 101 and for By-product 531.
Can we use inbound idoc-WMMBID02,with message type WMMBXY to achieve this functionality?
Or please advise if we can achieve this  from any other Idoc type.
We are getting below field values for external system
    1. process order number
    2.plant
    3.material
    4.quantity in unit of entry
    5.unit of measure
    6.storage location
    7. movement type
    8.Batch
Kindly advise how can we achieve this.
    Best Regards
    CS

261 and 262 are two different movement types INDEPENDENT of each other. I definitely know for the fact that SAP allows you to create a 262 without a 261. if you were to restrict it... you can disable access through a tcode for that mov. type 262 and ask users to use MBST to cancel any material documents created via 261 movt type.. that would ensure a smooth process

  • I faile to create outbound delivery with reference to scheduling agreement by using BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CREATE_SLS.

    Dear Team,
Can you please help me by providing the BAPI name for creating the outbound delivery for Scheduling Agreement in SAP SD .
I faile to create outbound delivery with reference to scheduling agreement by using BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CREATE_SLS.
The system says "missing data in the BAPI interface: VBAK VBTYP E". It seems another FM should be used for scheduling agreement only.
Thank you for your help in this regard .

    Hi Raghu.
As much as I don't want to do this but just to resolve this error I created an enhancement implementation in include LV50R_CREACSV form routine dcs_check_so_vs_interface and modified VBTYP to blank to avoid that error message.
Got the tip from this thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/1972059
Unless... anybody has a brighter idea (without modifying the standards)?
