Goods recipient address in SC PDF file

Hi Gurus,
We are assigning couple of users in one EBP Purchasing org. when the users create the SC, the Goods recipient address are coming from the EBP org address tab in the SC PDF attachment. we have a requirement wherein we need to maintain a different address for different user in the SC PDF file.
Could you please suggest us, if it is possible.
FYI, we have tried to maintain the address in user specific in BP and SU01D, but it is not working. we are using the SAP smart form BBP_SC.

Hi,
If you maintain address no. bellow attribute at the positon level you will be able to achive different delivery point printed on the SC, so that each user will have different address. This can be used as a workaround with out any enhancment.
Delivery address ADDR_SHIPT
If you are good with enhancement check if you can use DOC CHANGE BADI for changing the address.

where do I find where the goods recipient address is maintained.

You need to select SRM browser transaction "Edit internal addresses". You then see the main company codes. Select create icon against the org unit, enter your delivery address details and flag as 'ship-to address'.
When you save it, you should then see a delivery address number that has been created. You need to assign this number to users (or org unoits) in the org structure against attribute ADDR_SHIPT (delivery address), and flag as default for the user if required. This delivery address then defaults into the user's shopping cart.

It is possible to embed a pdf file in a report?

The question is a little bit complex, cause we do not know if belongs to Reports or tu E-Business-Suite. Our development Team has just created a report for a list of purchased/sold goods, which output is a PDF file.
On the other hand, the customer, is attaching a PDF (an agreement) to the items included in the Sales Orders in the Sales Order Window in the Order Management Responsibility. The customer wants that when they prints the report, the agrreement attached to each item in the sales order, will be printed too.
Is there any way to include the .pdf attachments in a .pdf's output report?

Hi,
I'm not aware of the possibilty to that with reports. But perhaps you could realize that with PDF-merging tools. You could create your report-pdf and merge your attachement into that ... just an idea.

PDF files can not be printed

Good time
problem with printing PDF files to the printer. While all other documents (doc) printed without problems.
The problem is not in the Preview.app, as doc files from it printed without problems. Just tried the program adobe acrobat, just does not print.

Quit Safari.
Go to HD/Library/Internet Plug-Ins
Move the Adobe PDF Browser plug in (or just PDF Browser plugin) to the Trash.
Relaunch Safari to test.
If that didn't help, open System Preferences > Print & Scan > Print and delete the print queue.
Then try again.

I am not aware of a way except for photos that allows you to select multiple files in an email. I even checked settings in the Adobe Reader app, and it does not show that ability.

Placing a PDF file in an InDesign Doc and PDF again for a vendor- Good or Bad?

Current debate in the graphics department is
Is it good or bad to place a PDF (general Press Quality) into an InDesign document and then creating a new PDF file with print vendor settings from that document?
My thought is that you in some cases are double compressing, lower dpi images getting compressed, RGB color mode images okay on layout but now are converted to CMYK and shift in the PDF.
Are there other issues and if so what are they.
Also is there an easy way to check ppi, color mode and compression of an acrobat PDF? I mean other than doing a preflight and searching into each image folder twenty levels deep. FlightCheck and Enfocus are not options,
too many vendors and not enough time.

Dov, I just got off the phone with a trusted professional in the Prepress field at a quite reputable print house, and he said "Dov is the guru of PDFs, ask him this...Will the InDesign CS3 preflight see the characteristics of a PDF (color mode, dpi(ppi), compression) if the original placed PDF is created as a pdf .X4 (1.7)? Ask him also if you were to use one form of compression (say lossless) in the original PDF, and then another form(say lossy) in the vendor PDF would it hold both or convert the first PDF compression to the second form?"

Please ensure that you are using Adobe Acrobat and not Reader to convert PDF file to word or excel.
Could you tell me whether it is a scanned document? Does this happen with all PDFs or any specific one?
Do you get any error message? What exactly happens when you try doing the same?

I would like to add a forwarding link to a pdf document that is available for download from my iWeb site. I would like someone to be able to forward the pdf file to another e-mail address. Can I do this in iWeb? If so, how?

Isn't that decision rather made by the person who downloads the pdf.

I open a pdf file with club members names and emails. I used to be able to click on the members email and a outlook box would appear with the email address .

I have a list of names and email addresses (250) and in a previous version of firefox I would go on the web page and when I would place the curser over the members email address and click it would automatically bring up an Outlook email to send box with the members email address already listed and ready for me to enter any information. This new firefox version (19) just lets the curser go across the email address and nothing happens when I click. How do I get the previous feature back?
