Goods replacement

Hi, I am trying to work out a solution regards the goods replacement. In our scenario, customer A order a material A, then the goods delivery to customer through normal process, and paid by customer. Few days after, customer told us the goods have some quality problem. Then we need to send another batch of goods to them, the old one will not be returned. I have some idea,
Solution 1.
Create a credit memo for old goods and create another sales item for new.
Solution 2.
Creaet a new free of charge item.
Solution 3.
Goods issue to sales order through movement type 231.
Could you give me advise which solution is better, or have another best practices to do that. thanks!

Portfolio:
By doing subsequent delivery free of charge The benefits you will get is if the customer is to receive replacement goods then no need to create credit memo. You enter a reason for rejection for the items in item details. Then we create a Free of charge subsedquent delivery with reference to return order to send the replacement goods to the customer.
The number of accounting entries will be less and you dont have to bother bout changing the item category or thinking about the movement type. System will take care of it, iff you are following standards.
Another benefit is you can give delivery block for this, which on approval can be ommited.
Create Subsequent DFC, with respect to the return order. The Doc type is SDF
Hope this will help.
Thanks,

If you are going to upgrade your harddisk, why not upgrade to SSD harddisk. You macbook pro supports SATA II SSD drives acccording to these Specs. SATA III is backward compatible with SATA II, so you can buy SATA III drive if you can't find SATA II drives.
Upgrading to SATA II SSD drive you give you super fast performence.
These are a few Segate SSD drives from amazon, that are not that expensive, I guess.
As for Western Digital vs Segate comparison, I second clintonfrombirmingham's suggestion. Western Digital never works for me.

  • E900 - a good replacement for an older WRT54G?

I still have one and it's been working for 6 years but I had an issue with it yesterday; AT&T tech support who I have my DSL service with determined one of the ports on the back of the router where my ethernet cable was plugged into was probably no longer good because I had no internet access on my desktop computer yesterday; error message said network cable unplugged so I plugged the cable into one of the other 4 ports on the back of my router and everything is working again. I spoke to someone at your company yesterday and they recommended this model to replace my WRT54G model. Is your E900 N300 router a good replacement for an older WRT54G?

It is a good router since it is running on N technology. To know more about that router try to check on the links below.

  • I'm looking for a good replacement printer to use with MacBook Pro. I currently have an Epson 610 Series.

    Hi,
I've had a MacBook Pro since January 2013 and and Epson 610 series printer-scanner-fax for several years. I may be replacing the printer. For my purposes (printing some articles from the internet, Word documents, book reports, and some PHOTO QUALITY PICTURES) it has worked just fine. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a printer-scanner combo (it doesn't matter if it has a fax option or not) that is MAC friendly, user-friendly, can print photo quality pictures (I do not print them often), and is reasonably priced ($300.00)? Any and all help is sincerely appreciated! Thank you in advance!

There's a list of manufacturers of AirPrint-enabled printers on the linked page. I don't have a specific recommendation. The good thing about AirPrint is that it works with OS X as well as iOS, and there's no software to install or keep updated. The printer must be connected to a network with its built-in interface.

  • New Macbook a good replacement for 12" Powerbook?

I think, besides the inch in display difference, that the new macbook WOULD HAVE made a GREAT GREAT GREAT replacement for users loving or wanting the portability, yet pro versatility of the old 12" Powerbooks. I think however that Apple has missed the mark in one BIG BIG WAY! Firewire. People who wanted something like the 12" powerbook wanted the power of the Macbook Pro in a smaller package. Apple hit the nail on the head with incorporating the same graphics performance, by using aluminum, by making it lighter, and by putting in the illuminated keyboard (only in the 2.4 model though). But on the last detail, they missed it. Firewire. there is no workaround. period. Why preload the systems with iMovie when you can't import video from MOST modern digital camcorders? WITHOUT EVEN introducing a new port with adapters (like they did with the Display Port). I think I would've sold my old macbook pro and had instantly purchased the new macbook if Apple had just included that one VITAL port. I would even prefer them putting it in the place of one of the two USB ports. But without being able to import video from my NEW minidv, there is just no way i could buy that macbook and call myself a proud mac owner. What kind of digital hub would that be? Isn't your slogan "works right out of the box."...? what do you guys think about the new macbook being a 12" powerbook replacement??

I have the same situation. I wanted to upgrade from my 12" Powerbook and would move up to the 13" screen of the new MacBook (15" is much too big for my needs). Another family member has the 15" Powerbook and has always liked my smaller size. I was ready to order 2 of the 13" MacBooks and was then stunned to see that Firewire was missing. I have a Sony DV camcorder for movies. It appears Apple expects me to use my old Powerbooks to input the video into iMovie and then transfer it over to my new MacBook. This is not the cutting edge Apple Computer Company that I have been a customer of for 25 years.
If Apple wants to add firewire to the new MacBooks, develop a USB / Ethernet to firewire adapter, or add a 13" MacBook Pro (w/ firewire) to the line-up, they will have a customer. Otherwise, I will hold onto my old Powerbooks until this is corrected.

  • What is a good replacement for the ATI Radeon X1900 XT on a late 2007 Mac Pro

I recently took my late 2007 Mac Pro to the Apple Store because it was running quite loud.  They diagnosed the problem as the fan on the ATI Radeon x1900 XT video card.  Whie the card works fine otherwise, I was thinking of replacing it.  I noticed some online recommendations that I need to upgrade to perhaps the Radeo HD 4870 if I want to install FCP X on this machine.  I do use the Mac Pro for video editing, but haven't switched yet to FCP X.  Anyone have a suggestion on a replcement video card that will work both on this machine and will be compatible with FCP X.
    Thanks for any advice.

  • What's a good replacement for the reminders app?

Hello everyone, thanks for your input.
I've been on the phone with Apple support about this for some time and it seems that this was a core change made in Yosemite and since I "upgraded" to icloud drive, I can't just back to Mavericks and still having things sync via icloud.
The reminders app no longer supports grouping of completed tasks by the day they were completed, and instead just shows a big list of every reminder ever completed in that list. I have to note what proofs and designs  I make on a time sheet at the end of each pay period and to do that I need to know what task was completed what day. Reminders was a very slick way to keep track of both the things that still need doing as well as see what was completed when. Now that I've installed Yosemite the only way to see completed reminders organized by day is to log into the icloud web interface on an OSX or windows computer and I'm concerned that that's not going to be an option for much longer since iOS 8 and Yosemite have both removed it.   It's a small change but its absolutely core to what I do. It's one of those little workflow things that seems inconsequential but has the potential to accumulate and just totally screw up your my Sundays and delay my pay checks if not done right.  All the solutions I'm coming up with, from tally them in an excel sheet to noting them in the calendar app instead of reminders, to just writing them down on postits are all kind of a clumsy, error-prone steps backward to the point that rolling back to Mavericks is looking like the best option (a painful option but at least it's just a 1-time pain)
Before I start the mess of going in and rolling back to Mavericks and all that that entails I just wanted to see what other options are out there? Surely there's a 3'rd party app that does what reminders used to do.
Ideally I just want it to do 3 things
         1. let me add simple reminders from OSX, ipad or iphone
         2. sync them to all the devices.
         3. let me organize the completed reminders by what day they were completed.
    Thanks!

    Wunderlist
I would love to see reminders with better snchronization features... Not just between ios and OSX but also between ical-google cal etc...
A good alternative right now is Wunderlist from the Mac app store.
Pretty much does the same thing..
It has Notification and widget snchronization with Yosemite.
It also syncs between Ical Google Calendar, android and ios....
Reminders needs a lot of work in my opinion.
Wunderlist does what Reminders should be doing.
    It definitely addresses 1, 2
3 is also done... You will have to check it out to see if it does it the way you want....
If its for bussiness I would suggest you use the pro paid version for added functionality.
Free version is however great also.

  • Anyone here found a good replacement for Version Cue?

First, yes I realize this is a Photoshop forum. :-P I also posted this in the Version Cue section, but that forum hasn't seen any action in a month so I thought I'd pop on over here too. I'm assuming there are a few Photoshop users in here that use some kind of file management software.
At my company we decided a while back we'd set up Version Cue, and of course it got put off. Today I learned Version Cue is getting ditched, and isn't even included in CS5. (http://www.adobe.com/products/versioncue/)
So,  I'm wondering if any of you have moved on and found a good alternative  option. Version Cue has some very useful things to offer, in theory if  not in practice, so it would be great if there is something out there  that can accomplish the same things. If it's relevant, we use both Windows and Mac here at work.
I've never used a digital assets manager so am open to ideas. I'm assuming that we'd want:
    • Versioning of documents (to roll-back to previous versions)
    • File storage
    • Sharing (perhaps a check-in, check-out system)
    • Commenting ability would be a bonus
    • Multiple users with variable permissions
    • Compatibility with Adobe Drive (allowing access to behind the scenes Adobe data)
Anyone had any success, have any suggestions?
    Thanks!

  • Is an 11.1 V battery a good replacement for a 14.8 V battery?

Hi, I have an HP mini 5101 netbook, it's got a 3 cell 14.8 V 1900 mAh battery and I'd like to buy a battery with a larger capacity. Most of the batteries I've found online have a 10.8 or 11.1 V rating and, though the sellers usually say the battery is compatible I've got my doubts. Are they compatible, or would the netbook switch off every now and then?

Here are the HP part numbers, you can use Google to search for a battery that is an exact replacement for these numbers

  • Good replacement hard drives?

I'm going to upgrade the hard drives in my Dual 2.5 G5 and would like hear from others who have done so. I'm leaning towards either a 500GB Hitachi P7K100, 750GB Hitachi 7K100, or 750GB Hitachi A7K100. Will consider others. Mainly use the G5 for video editing (SD) and DVDs. Thanks in advance!

    Hi Michael,
I can recommend (from my own experience) few very good drives for consider:
    1. WD 640 GB (model: WD6400AAKS - fast, quiet and very low heat emission, 2x320GB plates)
I've RAIDed 4 of them into RAID-0 in ICY Dock enclosure and I've got the transfer: write - 315 MB/s, read 350 MB/s using AJA KONA System Test, Video Frame rate 1920x1080 10-bit, File Size: 4GB.
Which seems to be quite nice
Really, I'm very satisfied of having those disks. Before I've bought them, I had RAIDed 2x500GB Maxtor Maxline Pro - in comparison to above - much more hotter (which is very important for me - I have small studio) and the transfer was about 125 MB/s (using 2 disks)
    2. WD 750 GB (model: WD7500AAKS - also very fast, maybe a little slower, but little bit more noisy and hotter) - I am using the as a backup and archive.
You can also do some comparison here:

  • Good replacement harddrive?

Want to replace the harddrive with something bigger but not too sure on the drives that can go in my iMac G5, so was wondering if this is a suitable candidate:Maxtor Diamond Max
    iMac G5 17 1.8ghz 1GB RAM AX   Mac OS X (10.4.3)

FWIW - I just put together an external HD for myself: a 120B Seagate internal drive into an external FW/USB enclosure.
While searching for advice on the subject, I frequently was told that Seagate and Hitachi have the very best reputations for quality HDs right now.
Having said that---you can be sure that someone will now strongly disagree.
