GOOFED - How to enter config setting for ATT MMS i...

I accidently clicked on Solved button  - unfortunately it's not really solved yet.
i was able to do the first part of the proposed solution - MMS settings.
however the second part - Internet settings were not completed. the menu options were slightly different from both of the solution steps (maybe a diff version of the OS), and when i tried to do the configuration settings it basically syopped me 'No settings found. Contact your service provider' and there was no Options to select from - a deadend.
Reallly appreciate your help farby (Mumbai is where many of our contract workers are from - say hi to Lionbrige); I'll keep looking ... if anyone has any ideas from here, thx in advance.
Thx again - 1/2 way there - Chuck

This might help..

  • How to enter opening balance for GL A/C(Ex. Bank A/C, Cash A/C, Vendor A/C)

    Hi Expert,
How to enter opening balance for last year to closing balance to this year opening balance explain deeply helpful for me Thanks in advance.
    Example
All Bank A/C, Cash Book, Vendors, Customers, like that how to enter closing to opening balance.
    With Warm regards,
    Selva

    Dear,
As per SAP standard there is no need to carry forward the balances as the system will do a virtual carry forward into next year opening without creating any FI documents.
If your business scenario demands then you can use the transaction code F-02 for posting a carry forward balances, this will not effect any of your balances but only creates a FI document.
If your R3 version is SAP ECC5 or 6 then use the transaction code FAGLGVTR

  • Hi..how we enter standard text for smartform using include text

    hi
    guru
..how we enter standard text for smartform using include text..
i know only using so10 we write text..
    in smartform it asking text-object
                                     text-id,
so what values we should give to get text

    Hi,
Do u want to print Standard Text or the Texts that are maintained at the Transaction level.
If it is standard text , then u use text id as ST or if it is Texts that are maintained at the Transaction level then u have to go to that specific transaction and check for that text , then go to text editor ,in the goto menu u have header data where u get the Text id , text name.... , use them in ur smartform in the INCLUDE text.
Further u have the option of text modules in smartforms which act as standard texts, so if u r going for creation of standard texts then its better to use text modules.

  • When the about:config setting for swipe are changed to allow changing tabs with swipe it does not repond and performs the default back and forward in browsing history action on the selected window instead of switching tabs. How do I get it to work?

In about:config, the values I changed to for the preference name browser.gesture.swipe.left was Browser:PrevTab and for browser.gesture.swipe.right was Browser:NextTab.
I have the latest synaptics touch pad on my laptop and it supports three touch swipe on windows pcs and on firefox. The about:config setting seem to be specific for MACs and so does not responds to windows changes.

  • How to enter serial number for sale order line  which is in shipped status

    Hi All,
We have 2 different items which are defined as Serialized at Sale order issue at item definition.
In one sale order,User has forgot to add serial number to one of the item at Ship confirm stage.
He has entered serial number correctly to other item.
Now the both Sale order lines are in Shipped status if we view them through Shipping>transactions.
I am technical guy and new to OM.Could you please let me know the process to enter the serial number for the item to which user has missed it
    Thanks,
    Satya

    Hi Satya,
Since the item is already shipped, you cannot enter serial number for this line.
you have to enter serial numbers after pick confirm only.
    check this note

As a workaround for the previous lines do RMA and try to receive the goods back to your subinventory.
For all new transactions follow the above notes.

    Hi
Can some please guide me how do I check  Collation setting for Analysis services in Sql server 2000
i need it to install Analysis servcies on my machine

    Hi SMV123,
We can find the collation settings for Analysis services in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). Connect to the SSAS instance from within SSMS->Right click on the instance and select Properties->An Analysis Server properties page will appear. And then
on the left hand side is a Language /collation option.
Besides, here is a link about how to install SQL Server Analysis Services 2000 for your reference.

  • How to define CPU sets for different hardware cores?

We're doing a small benchmarking research on parallel benefits of Niagaras, and as one part of
the research, we want to find out whether there are performance differences between hardware
CPU cores and strands within a core. From theory, only one strand of a core is executing at any
given moment, others are "parked" while waiting for IO, RAM, etc. So it may be possible to see
some difference between a program running with 4-processor "pset"s, i.e. 4 strands of one core
    and 4 separate cores.
While I can use psrset or poolcfg/pooladm to create and bind actual processor sets consisting
of a number of processors, I have some trouble determining which of the 32 CPU "id numbers"
    belong to which hardware core.
On a side note, an X4600 server with two boards lists 4 "Dual-Core AMD Opteron(tm) Processor
8218 CPU #" entries in prtdiag, but 8 "cpu (driver not attached)" entries in prtconf, and
Solaris recognizes 8 processors in pooladm. Again, there's no clue which of these 8 processor
cores belongs to which socket, and this information could be important (or at least interesting)
for SMP vs. NUMA comparison within otherwise the same platform.
So far the nearest ideas I got were from some blog posts about pooladm which suggested to
make a CPU set for a worker zone with CPU IDs 0-28, and moving hardware interrupts to CPU
IDs 29-31. I could not determine whether these are single strands of separate cores, or 3 of 4
strands on a single core, or some random 3 strands how-ever Solaris pleases to affine them?
Is this a list defined somewhere (i.e. IDs 0-3 belong to core 0, IDs 4-7 belong to core 1 and so
on, according to Document X) or can this be determined at runtime (prtdiag/prtconf)?
Is this a fixed list or can the "strand number-CPU core" relations change over time/reboots?
Perhaps, does Solaris or underlying hardware deliberately hide this knowledge from the OS
administrators/users (if so, what is the rationale)?
Finally, am I correct to believe I can place specific CPU IDs into specific psets via pooladm?
Looking at /etc/pooladm.conf I think this is true (the default pool lists all CPU IDs of the
system), but wanted some solid confirmation :)
    Thanks for any ideas,
    //Jim

We are thinking of posting goods issue for the original material and post goods receipt for the new three materials. But how to enter the initial balance since these three materials must have moving average price.

    Hi,
If you create material first time in system with the help of MM01 then specify the price this will gets affect on moving price.
and if the material is created with ZERO price then use the option MR21 which is said by  Jürgen

  • How maintain the Customise setting for copy the text to sales doc to sales

    Hi SAP Gurus,
How to customise the text for copy to sales documents to sales documents and output.Kindly needful for me.
    Regards
    Vikram.M

This is determined based on the access sequence specified for the Text ID.
You can go to IMG/logistics execution/Basic shipping functions/Text control/Define access sequences for determining texts.
You may also use t-code VOTXN.
If you are trying to check text being copied to delivery header, then click the radio button for the delivery header and click display. go to the relevant text determination procedure and
Check the access sequence assigned to the Text id not being copied.
The Text object should be VBBK to copy texts from sales order header,VBBP for sales item texts.
You can compare it with your other text ids and their access sequences and make the necessary change to the one that is not being copied.

pls let me know end to end process to enter opening balances for business partners.
    thank
    reema

    Hi Reema....
There are two processes you can enter OB for BP.
    1. Bill waise
    2. Total
If you want to go for Bill wise then its better to upload the AP and AR invoice under service category via DTW.
If you want to go for Total BP balance then go to Administration> System Initialization> Opening Balance--> Opening Balance Business Partner.

  • About:config setting for making the menubar visible

Hi, I've been trying to customize firefox for deployment. I need to be able to enable the menubar by default on firefox. I know how make the menubar visible via the orange firefox button but that's not a feasible option on a group of computers. I've looked through about:config, searched and googled, but I can't seem to find a setting that will make the menubar visible by default. Any help would be appreciated.

This needs chrome code not a config change.
See ''How do I get rid of both the orange icon with firefox and the menu bar?'' [/questions/946916]
You could also consider the possibility of using [http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/ ESR] as a method of reducing maintenance, and maybe use of a .cfg file to lock the installations http://kb.mozillazine.org/Locking_preferences

  • How to realize current setting for TCODE FQ_FPCJ_NC?

    Hi all,
does anybody knows how to change transaction FQ_FPCJ_NC  into a current setting? FQ_FPCJ_NC is used in PSCD for assigning a clerk to a specific cash desk (transaction FPCJ). Although it is part of the standard area menu S000, it opens a transport after an entry / a change was made, that means every change has to be transported and every new assigned clerk has first to be created in the developing system. I cannot find neither any maintainance object for transaction SOBJ nor any customizing activity.
Does anybody has a helping idea?
    Regards,
    Frank

    Hi Kevin,
Yeah I read the thread earlier too and it was helpul to some extent.
I used CALLBACK routines to get the data and then passed the old and new structures to BUP_MEMORY_BUT000_FILL to populate the data.
But even then that field is not getting set.
Is there something else that i need to do after passing changed structure to BUP_MEMORY_BUT000_FILL?
I posted on that thread too but didn't get any reply from Paul
'BUPA_GENERAL_CALLBACK returns the tables LT_BUT000_OLD n new. Both contain the values of  BUT000 that are present on BP before my changes are saved.
