Google account calendars

I can view my google account calendar on my iPad but I can't see my "other" google calendars.  How do I display all calendars?

GEESH. Finally figured it out after spending about 3 hours trying everything under the sun. I realized that somehow my contact card as the admin had been switched to his contact card in my address book. It's displaying my name correctly now. RIDICULOUS.

  • How can i make my google account calendar be the same as my icloud calendar?

i want to make my icloud account send all appointments i give it directly over to my gmail calendar as well, is this possible?

I'm afraid this is not possibile. Google Calendar can sync only with calendars listed under 'On My Mac' and by their nature these cannot sync with iCloud: Google cannot access the iCloud server.

  • Cannot log in to Google "Accounts" with Safari

I cannot seem to login and use Google Services with Safari 2.04.
This started when I discovered I was unable to log in to google calendar in Safari, and became a support ticket to Google (which is still pending) and is really confounding me.
What happens is that I go to go to http://www.google.com/accounts and attempt to login. Once I hit the submit button, accounts page plainly refreshes. However, if I put in a totaly invalid user or password, I will get a message telling me the user or pass is invalid.
In Firefox, if I attempt the same scenario from google.com/accounts, after submit, I get the page that shows me all the services available for me to use, like gMail, calendar, etc.
    Here's what I've already tried.
    Safari troubleshooting...
    - backup/remove ~/Library/Safari
    - backup/remove ~/Library/Caches/Metadata/Safari
    - backup/remove ~/Library/Caches/Safari
    - backup/remove ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.internetconfig.plist
    - backup/remove ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.internetconfigpriv.plist
    - backup/remove ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist
    - backup/remove ~/Library/Cookies
After removing all the above, Safari is basically back to Apple's factory default settings. Even after all this, Safari still cannot log in. The same behaviour occurs when I hit the submit button, I'm just brought right back to the same page I started at, and am not logged in. Calendar never renders, or I'm left looking at the accounts log in screen.
It's notable that this issue does not appear to be specific to my google account, but specific to one particular Mac I use. I am able to login to google/accounts on my laptop, but not on my office machine using Safari.
To make it even more mind numbing, it seems to be specific to a user profile on my office Mac. I tried creating a new user account on this same machine, and with the fresh clean home directory, was able to login to google accounts, calendar, etc. So, obviously, a totally clean home directory, library, app support, etc results in usability.
I'm not sure where else to go with this. Are there other supporting files to Safari within my home directory that I missed removing to set it back to "clean". I cannot imagine the problem being specific to the application bundle for Safari since each user on the computer is using the same one, this behaviour must be related to something within the user home directory somewhere.
Anyone else seen this same behaviour and know how to fix it, preferably without just creating a new user and home dir.

  • Is there ONE single app available for TASK and CALENDAR both which can be synched with Google account for OSX, iPhone, iPad

    Hi guys,
I have been searching to death to find ONE great app which:
1- handles both calendar (events) & To-Do list (task).
2- connects to googla account (both calendar & task)
3- should be availabe in Mac OS (OSX), iPhone & iPad (iOS) & Android.
For instance, Pocket Informant, Calengoo or BusyCal.
All of them takes care of the first, but fail in at least one of the remaining features.
    Pocket informant:
    1- Yes
    2- Calender: Yes, Task: No
3- No Mac OS X version but it gives to web-based app (15$).
    Calengoo:
    1- Yes
    2- Yes
3- No Mac OS X version.
    BusyCal:
    1- Yes
    2- Calender: Yes, Task: No
3- No Portable Version. (iOS & Android).
There is no one or combined solution for this!!! If there is no single software to take care of both, please give me a solution  but keep in your mind that ONE app is very important to me on a single device not two because I know already that!
    At least
    HELP me plz!!

    Hi,
here is a schematic that I *Think* should work, but I haven't bought BusyCal 2 yet.  Reminders syncs with Toodledo, which syncs with Pocket Informant (I've tested this, and can now create PI tasks by talking to Siri); Reminders also syncs w/ BusyCal 2, so Busycal *should* be able to create, edit and delete tasks that will appear on Pocket Informant, and the reverse *should* be true.  Likewise, iCal syncs w/ both BusyCal 2 and Pocket Informant's appointments.  Thus BusyCal becomes your desktop hub, and everything *should* be sync'd up with PI on your iOS device.  I don't know anything about Android.
Siri —> "Reminders" <—> "Toodledo" <—> "Pocket Informant" tasks
                        I
                  "BusyCal 2" (desktop)
                        I
                     "iCal" <—> "Pocket Informant" appointments

  • Is this a scam/phishing e-mail asking me to re-validate my contacts/calendar with my Google account?

    Hi BB team,
I've received apparently a genuine e-mail from : [email protected] , advising me that I should to go into my e-mail account setting to re-validate my gmail account in order that it can synchronize again with my contacts and calendar. So far so good, I went into e-mail setup, and at the same time I went into the settings of my master google account in the browser, in order to get a new code/password to do the link through Chrome, so I did it and then I entered the new password in the e-mail setup of the phone and perfect...BUT seconds later, I received again from the same direction another email with this subject:
Gmail Authorization Required, with this subject:
For security reasons, Google requires you to authenticate [removed] with them at the following URL to allow syncing of your contact and calendar information:
    [removed]
You have 60 minutes from the receipt of this message before the URL above expires.
If the URL expires you will have to disable and enable contacts and calendar from Email Setup on your BlackBerry Device to receive a new URL.
    Thank you for choosing BlackBerry.
When I click that link, my smartphone's browser activated itself, showing me directly a google page with the two fields to fill: login and password. I don't know, maybe I'm a little paranoic with this weird mail, but I've never see this before, Blackberry doing security procedures through the browser, weird!
Is it secure? is a new procedure?
    Thanks

First, you should not post personal info like your email address. This is a public forum. I'm a user like you.
All I can say is what you describe is new to me. I see the BlackBerry, com domain in that link, but I don't understand it. I have received a message before, of course, to revalidate an email, but it was a simple matter of going into setup and entering the password for the email account.

  • Can't Setup/Auth Google Account in Calendar App

I can't Setup/Auth Google Account in the Calendar App. I can't get past the 'Accept' and yes, the credentials are correct. I'm using FFOS 1.3 and it seems like 'https://oauth.gaiamobile.org/authenticated' always times out. I've tried it on different days at different times. So restarting an dresetting won't do the trick, even so I already tried.
Waht else can I do? I really not a working calendar.
    Thanks in advance, Michael.

    Hi, its working fine.
First i got the same issue, i closed the calendar, restarted the mobile and tried. its working fine.
    Check the attached image.
Still your facing the issue. Check for software update.

  • Two Google accounts, inconsistent calendar options

    I'm using OS6 on a Pearl 3G (9100).
I've got two Google accounts set up with BIS.  One is my primary account, hosted on a Google Apps account.  The other is a regular @gmail.com account.
For the Apps account (which was also the first added), there's a synchronization option for whether to sync the calendar or not.  I have it selected, as this is the calendar I use.  In the BB calendar, it registers as "Default".
For the @gmail.com account, there is NO option in the account settings for calendar synchronization.  If I go into the BB calendar settings, I see two calendars: Default (the Apps account) and "[email protected]".  I cannot find a way to NOT synchronize this calendar.
I wouldn't mind so much, but whenever I create a new calendar entry, there is no option for which calendar to put it in, and it always ends up in the @gmail.com one -- NOT where I want it.
Does anyone know how to do one of the following?
Disable synchronizing with the @gmail.com calendar so I only have the Apps one connected
When I create a new appointment, have it entered into the Apps account's calendar and NOT the @gmail.com one
    Thanks...

If you sync with multiple calendars they will automatically show up together in one calendar but will also be listed as separate calendars so you will have a calendar list that goes 'All', 'Work', 'Home' etc etc When I set this up on the iPhone I prefer the CalDAV approach and there are plenty of instructions available on the web like this one http://blogs.sun.com/chienr/entry/configuringcaldav_on_iphone3
I haven't done multiple Google address books so someone else will have to help you there

  • Internet Accounts (Mail/Calendar) still not working with Google account

Half a year after the release of Mavericks, it's still not possible to use Apple Mail and Calendar with my Google account. There's always the same error message:
There was a problem setting up the account.
    An unknown error occurred.
I don't understand why this problem couldn't be fixed yet.

I have the same setup and it works just fine.
Reboot into Safe Mode and try again. Post back with the result.

  • ALERT: Google account sync broken on webOS devices (and a fix)

MUST READING FOR webOS USERS WHO SYNC CONTACTS WITH GOOGLE ACCOUNTS:
Earlier this week I began having trouble with my Pre3.  It spontaneously restarted and pretty much wiped everything.  After logging back in to my webOS account, I then began having trouble logging in to my several Google accounts.  Each time, I got either an "unknown error" message or a message that my credentials were incorrect.
A very clever webOS developer (consider throwing him some bones if you use his patch...see below) figured out that Google changes to https (whatever that means) were the culprit.  I don't understand enough of the jargon to explain it, but the issue seems to effect Google accounts (primarily contacts) which are newly added to a device or re-added after a reset or doctoring your device, more so than accounts that are already on your device.
However, even if your existing gmail and calendar accounts still sync, you are strongly advised to check...Google contact sync is probably broken and you might not realize it.  In this condition, contacts which are newly added directly on device will not sync to google servers for backup and syncing with other devices you might have, unless you install the patch below.
I can vouch for that.  I had added several new contacts directly on the phone during the past week, but after this week's fun & games, I found that none of the newly added contacts had ever synced to my online Google contacts, which means they didn't sync back down from google's servers onto my other devices.
SO...GO HERE NOW:  The patch which is discussed in this linked article on webOS Nation has definitely fixed the sync problem on my Pre3.  It requires the use of webOS Quick Install.    While you're at it, install Preware using webOS Quick Install, and expand the usability and speed of your webOS device. Then install a Preware app called Internlz Pro which is installed with Preware.  Then you email the patch to yourself, click on the attachment, and Internalz Pro installs directly without having to connect to your computer.
Please post back in this thread if this issue has effected your phone or tablet, and if you have any problems installing the patch.  I haven't used webOS Quick Install in a long time so I had to figure it out from scratch.  I install from a MacBook and it works just fine.  There is also an on-device option called Internlz Pro which is installed with Preware directly on the phone...you email the ptch to yourself and Internalz Pro will install it.
HP/Palm had given its support to the webOS Homebrew Community, so let's use this information here to keep these devices healthy.  You will find much more detailed informatio in the forum linked above where the patch is located, and how to get webOS Quick Install and PreWare downloads.
I'll also use this experience as a plug for PreWare and the really selfless developers who support our favorite OS and catch stuff like this when it happens, and turn around a patch in a day or two so that the community can benefit..  There are tons of improvements just waiting there for your webOS devices.  Tweaks.  Patches.  Enhancements of all sorts to make your webOS device run faster and jump higher.  All free, robust, and ready to keep webOS cool and relevant for many more years, for a lot of users.
No particular skills or knowledge are needed to take advantage of PreWare.  The directions are very simple.  You already have the hardware.  This experience shows me that the webOS homebrew community still has some dedicated and pretty darned skilled developers at work for the sheer joy and pride (and a few $$ should someone toss them a few) of keeping their...our...beloved webOS alive.

Thank you soooooo much for the direction to the fix.  Worked on both my phone and TP.  I thought I was going to have to get rid of them but finally someone made them work.
Awesome...very happy to help others keep these wonderful devices working.  The developers who are hanging in to keep bringing us updates and new functionality are the ones who really deserve our thanks.  I wish I knew how to do what they do.

I keep getting this message when I try to sync my notes in a google account this message keeps popping up... mail couldn't discover the account settings.  My mail shows up, contacts and calendar sync fine, and notes from other emails sync fine.  But this one email will NOT let me sync?????? • Unable to add google account since Mavericks update

Since dowloaing the 10.9.1 update, I have been unable to add or update my google account (including in system preferences, mail app and in the calendar) with error messages such as "unable to sign in at this time" and "a connection error occured". I deleted my google account with the hope of re-adding it error- free, although now I'm unable to even re-add the account.

  • How many calenders can I use in a google account?

    Hi,
I used nine calenders in my Google account (Default, one for client events and seven subscribed from the "interesting calenders"). Now I did subscribe another "interesting calendar", but it does not show up on the Pre. Is there a limit to calendars on the Pre?
I did reboot, "sync now" and also did delete and re-add my account in the calendar settings. The new calendar doesn't show up in the display options and its events do not in the calendar.
Anybody get a hint for me?

  • Fail to re-add google account

    Hi, All.
After I upgrade to the 10.10.3, the mail.app keep noticing me to input my google account address and password, even I already input the them correctly.
So, I delete the account and try to add it again. However, I failed, I stuck at this page. When pressing "Done", nothing happened. In fact, no matter which of these five selection I chose(mail, contact,Calendar,Msg,Note), same thing still happened.
    How can I fix this?

  • With version 9.0.1 I can no longer switch between Google accounts properly

I have a personal Google account and a Google apps account (via my employer, with a custom domain). I normally can log into either one and switch between the two using the "switch accounts" function. This currently works in chrome, and worked in Firefox until I received an upgrade to v9.0.1 today. Now the option to access the other account just isn't there anymore.
This feature is accessed from gmail by clicking on my name in the top right nav bar and choosing "switch accounts". You must have this feature turned on in the settings for both accounts to make this work. I use this to, for instance, read all my mail in one account and use the calendar or docs from the other one.
Anyone have the same experience? Anyone have a suggestion as to why or a solution?

    Thanks for confirming things Vivek.Wilfred.
FYI, for future others with this problem: After a couple hours of playing around it was fixed, though I'm not sure what finally did it. Be sure that you try Google's "Sign Out of All Accounts", and not just the regular sign out option.

  • I changed my google account email address over a year ago, but Firefox continues to remember my old one, despite repeated cache/cookie clearing, forcing me to retype in my email everytime I need to log in. How do I get rid of that old email?

I have a google account that I use mostly for the calendar. Occasionally I'm taken to the log in page (my time has expired, or someone else has logged in on my computer to their google account). On the log in page, the email address that Firefox remembers is an email address that I have not used in over a year (although it was the first email I used when I opened my google account). I have deleted that email address within google; I have cleared ALL my cookies and my entire cache numerous times and no matter -- the old email address is what Firefox remembers when I log in new.
