I am using Google App for my business email. How can I setup Google App as work mail in BES 10? I am currently setting it up in Personal space. How can I remotely wipe those email data via Blackberry Device Service console in BES10?

HelloWe have Google Apps for Work and we are moving away from Postini/Google Apps Message Encryption (GAME) and on to Mimecast. I thought I configured everything correctly but when I went to to do the switch in the MX records to have email following through Mimecast, I was not able to send email from outside our domain to our domain. Example, [email protected] emailed [email protected] and the email would show in Mimecast but would not be delivered the [email protected]'s inbox. Mimecast showed an error of "No Inbound Route". In Mimecast I configureda route definition and policyunder "Policy Route Delivery". When Icontacted Mimecast support they told me that the Google Smarthost was incorrect. I can't seem to find Google's Smarthost.Any help would be appreciated.Thank You

I can't send mail with my google apps account using mail

Can anyone help me here.
My Mail program is acting strangely.
First I could send email but not with an attachment. Now I cant send at all. I am using a Google Apps Email account. It was working fine yesterday.
I also have an iCloud @me.com account which sends mail with the attachments but the sent mail is not showing up in the sent items box.

How do I configure Google Apps aliases in Mail client?

I´m using Google Apps for business and have 5 companies with about 15 different email adresses. 1 email adress is the primary and the others are aliases.
I want to use Apples Mail client and I´m trying to configure the different accounts.
Primary:
Name: Company
Mail: [email protected]
Alias1:
Name: Company1
Mail: [email protected]
Alias2:
Name: Company2
Mail: [email protected]
...and so on
I have created several outgoing servers that I use from the primary account.
When I recive an email to Alias 1 and send a replay it says that it comes from the Primary (Comapny). If I recive an email to Alias1 (Company1) I want to replay with that Name (Company1) and with a specific signature that are linked to that company.
I´m not sure that I have explained it correctly but is there anyone out there with a similar problem and a solution to it?

Check that you configured the SMTP server for each address correctly, it should match the user ID and password of the Imap server in use, and it should be marked as the server to use for the account.

Google app not working? Can't even log in :(

Since yesterday, I am unable to get into my Google+ app at all. The login never completes. In addition, Google Play is working sporadically, at best, in whichever browser I am using (preference: Dolphin) and absolutely NO You Tube videos will play at all in any browser on the iPad. I verified it's just the iPad by using my laptop PC last night, which had no such issues. You Tube Videos are behaving as if they are loading, but it just goes on and on and never begins to play. This happens in both Dolphin and in Chrome for iPad.

Nothing but search will work for my google. I am not sure why. My version of firefox does crash once every 2 days or so but ever since I did the last update to the newest version on my mac --google dead

I added my google apps account in mail the same way i did with my ipad 2 but in the iphone it wont push the mail ( only updates when i open mail app)

I deleted my Gmail/Exchange account on my phone and set it up again (exchange server) and now both my push mail and my calendar are working. Hoping it does for you, too.

Meeting invites not received on Blackberry device on Airtel using Google Apps

Greetings. This seems to be an ongoing problem but I could not find a specific thread to what I am facing, and hence creating a new thread.
Over the last two weeks, a lot of users in our office have suddenly stopped received meeting invites / notices. Most of them are using a variety of Blackberry devices almost all Curves 8520, 9230, 9360. We use Google Apps for our mail, calendaring and others.
Meeting Notices are not coming to some of the BB devices. When a meeting is created by an organiser (say me for example) and I invite two or three co-workers, the meeting notice e-mail is delivered and sits in their Google Apps GMail hosted mailbox, but it does not download to their BB. All other mail messages are delivered normally.
On those receipients facing this problem, I experimented with their settings in Calendar of Äutomatically add invitations to my calendar" to Yes and Yes, but don't send event reminders unless I have responded.
I have even deleted the account, re-added, and downloaded service books.
The wireless sync between Google Apps Calendar and the BB devices is working fine.
Can someone please help solve this problem and oblige.

Notes can't connect to Google Apps (not GMail!) account

Hi,
So I did it again! Looking in the "Mail, contacts & calendars" panel in the system preferences, I noticed that my work Google App account (my work uses Google servers to host its email) was split into two accounts, which were overlapping (both had emails ticked). So I deleted one of them, it this is when the nightmare started: each time I try to tick Notes, I get the following error message:
"There was a problem setting up the account. Mail couldn't discover the account settings for the Mail server “myworkdomaim.com”.
So I deleted this account too, recreated a new account in the system pref. using GMAIL as a template. When doing so, The same error message appears, except that it takes me to Mail where I am given the possibility to enter the right settings (in that case imap.google.com as imap server). However, these changes are never reflected in the Notes app. Each time I try to tick the "Notes" box in the "Mail, contacts & calendars", I get the same error.
Of course I have tried to setup a generic account instead of a GMail one: same problem. I am taken to Mail and as soon as I input the google servers in the settings, OS X detects a GMail account and I am back to square one (or rather zero in this case).
I have spent two hours trying to hack the bloody thing, but I simply no longer can find the plist file where the accounts are stored. Thanks to sandboxing! Brilliant!
Anyone has an idea on how to get Notes on Google Apps to work? That would be a life saver!

I had the same problem -- error when trying to click the notes sync checkbox in notes/accounts for my gmail accounts (GMail and Google Apps)
What fixed it:
I noticed in my MESSAGES > PREFERENCES > ACCOUNTS I had a Jabber account in there for at least one of my Google accounts. I deleted it (don't use it).
Went back to the NOTES accounts and the checkbox worked to sync notes with all my Google accounts, GMail and Apps.
BAM! Don't know if it was just my system, but I hope this helps someone.

3G iPhone w/ Google IMAP setup working for anyone?

I just recently switched from POP3 to IMAP because it's supposed to support push mail, but based on my testing...it's no push email at all...I can't even open the email once it's in my inbox. It just keeps loading. Is anyone else having the same issue? Is it working flawlessly for anyone? Please help...

Yes, this one got me for 2 days straight a while back when trying to use IMAP on Outlook Express (in Windows.) I try to spread the word to people as much as I can because I know it's a common problem.
Also, for anyone using Google Apps (your domain mail hosted with google.) the unlock captcha address is:

Replace "YOURDOMAIN.com" with your domain name.

Mail.app Stopped Working with Google Apps Account

I have accessed my Google Apps e-mail account via Mail.app for many months with no problems. Then all of a sudden yesterday it has stopped working. I can't download new messages no matter what I do, and it does not give me any errors such as wrong username/password. I have tried sending a few test e-mails out and they get sent even though Mail.app shows the message as still being sent endlessly (the blue progress bar goes to about 50% and then just sits there, however the recipient receives the e-mail). Has anyone experienced this problem? It may be a complete coincidence, but I also just upgraded my version of Aperture 2 to Aperture 3 and it has been having all sorts of problems (which others are experiencing as well). Any help is greatly appreciated.

After some searching I have found a solution. I had to delete the contents of the following folder:
~/Library/Mail/myemailaccount/.OfflineCache/
Note: replace "myemailaccount" with the appropriate folder on your computer that represents your e-mail account. Once I deleted the contents of this folder (there were 2 files), and restarted Mail, there were no problems.
Hope this helps a few people in the future!
