Google Apps Domain Name Email will not stay in Pre Inbox

i can get the message but the Inbox for my Gmail Premier Edition wipes iself clean as soon as i close it. This is a HUGE problem since Gmail Apps Premier blah blah is my main business email acount

Emails will not stop coming into Inbox. Even when deleted duplicates reappear over and over.

I am trying to find out how to stop this. It happens with all of my mail accounts, not just one.
I have tried deleting the accounts and setting them up again, but I have the same problem.
All of my new mail will load, over and over, this never stops unless i 'take all accounts offline'. I have been unable to check my emails due to the volume of emails coming into my inbox.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

The publishing settings page does not open when I click on the domain name and the iWeb application will not stay on the dock.

I have been trying to help a friend who is having problems publishing her website. (She has done so previously using Mobile me)
There seem to be a couple of things wrong with the application,
1 if I drag the application icon onto the dock, it won't stay there
2 I wanted to change where her site is published to (she has bought a domain name and has a hosting service now) but when I click on the domain name I do not get the "site publishing settings page" so we can't enter the new details. All that comes up is the main page of her website.
I would suggest uninstalling and re-installing Iweb, to see if that clears the problem, but as Iweb came pre-installed with her Imac, I am not sure that we can do this.
Any ideas please?
she's using and imac 24 in (approx 4 years old) and running osx 10.5.8

NO - not correct. Even if you are still using iWeb 08, you can still publish to another host and not MobileMe. You do this by selecting the option 'Publish to a local folder" and this will publish the site to your desktop and you can then use an ftp programme such as Cyberduck to upload your site to your host.
MobileMe will not be here after the end of June, so you will have to find alternative hosting. They are not taking any new subscriptions.
On new Macs, iLife 11 is pre-installed, but only iPhoto, iMovie and GarageBand are included, not iWeb and iDVD. The Apple Online store is not selling the boxed version of iLife 11 any longer, so if you want to upgrade to iLife, then you'll have to look online at Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk for a boxed set of either iLife 09 or iLife 11. Both contains iWeb 09, which is what you would want.

Sounds like we have a similar problem. Four days ago I was playing music through a wireless Bose speaker via bluetooth and everything was fine. Then I was texting while listening and got 2 texts about the same time as I was typing one and my phone went black. I pushed the home button and it worked, went into my texts and all were there. However ever since then the time isn't right, so it can't keep time no matter what I do. The bluetooth works only at times, the wifi keeps jumping on and off, sometimes my data won't work and the other day I couldn't even turn it off, so had to wait until it died. The battery life display at that moment wasn't correct either. Took to Verizon, they couldn't help. Suggested a factory reset, which I did last night and still the same issues! One day I couldn't even text my husband on his iPhone. Just wouldn't work at all. Did everything suggest and still not good. Seems like after stalking these pages today a lot of people are having this problem in Dec/Jan and of course also I'm 3 weeks out of my 1 year warranty and so were many others, by days. Very strange, and all on the 5C. What did you do? Is it working now?

Believe it or not the iPod can go for months on end without ever completely powering down. Sometimes it helps to simply reboot it like any computer.

Funny you should ask... At about the same time that the Xserve was discontinued, we also lost our channel rep of nearly 14 years. Right now we are not sure who our rep is. I have however, sent this to as many people in Apple that I could think of. And I plan on continuing to reach out to as many as possible.
The sad reality is that this decision is impacting customer deployments and the future of customer installations. Apple strives for market share and loves to tout those numbers. But the numbers we fought for over these last eight years are going to disappear.
As much as this impacts our business, we are making up for it in enterprise deployment of systems. We will survive and lead in our geographic area. I do not fear that. But OS X Server is a UNIX server and with it has come all of the benefits of a UNIX system, including legitimacy in a data center. The Intel Xserve cemented this reality because of its hardware configuration and form factor. Yes, we have G4 and G5s still in service. But those are mostly in all Mac shops that understand the benefits and can work around the buzz word limitations. But fortune 100/500 IT departments did not really get on board until the release of the Intel server.
Still beating the drum to raise awareness. Spread the word and talk to your Apple reps.
Also, ask about the direction that Apple's Enterprise team is going. If the news I hear is correct, then our fears about all things pro and enterprise going away are likely true.

I agree, i can't understand why they don't just explain the settings. And why they do not consistently work.
I too had issues, Outlook was "working" when i set up the @me account, then I started getting the annoying little internat email login popup (that does not go away). Finally after many "experiments" i have it "apparently working" (will explain working with the following settings:
accoutn type: IMAP
incoming server: imap.mail.me.com Port: 993: SSL
outgoing server: smtp.mail.me.com Port: 25 (default): Auto
"Require SPA" is checked, but not on outgoing server.
It does now finally work without putting up the annoying internet email login. However, now i discoverd a greater problem.
OUTLOOK IS NOT REALLY SENDING THE EMAIL. It is putting it in the "sent" box as if it did, but no one receives it. No errors, no warning. And this dates all the way back to the time i started using the @me account. My only work around is to use the stupid icloud mail browser app. Really low in functionality compared to outlook.
This really affects the reliability of the icloud product and this is a serious error. It really cuts down on the utility of the icloud and whewther it can be integrated with the PC at all. Like everyone else i have also had the creation of multiple calendars and multiple contacts.
Apple better fix this quick or a lot of people will start using gmail, droid and google cloud products.

Windows Will Not Stay Selected

Menu bar app windows, as well as other windows will not stay selected. To type on some of these windows, I have to click on the window after every letter or else it will become unselected.

it sounds as though you have a corrupted userinit.exe file as safe mode also insn't working. Have you also tried last known working configuration? You could try replacing the file, google can help here.
Worst case is that you have caught some spyware, this will not only have corrupted your userinit.exe file, but also changed the registry entries. There are methods of fixing this using BartPE boot discs.
Your drive will be accessable allowing you to attach it to another system and copy your important files. A system recovery may be the easiest option to get your ThinkPad up and running again.

If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Cableone innstalled a new server and now my thunderbird email will not work. What do I do now?

Cableone, our internet provider, has changed from a Google server to their own server and now my Thunderbird email will not work. They have directions listed to make it work, but this does not work. I have also contacted Cableone's technical support and they say because thunderbird is not their system they have no responsibility to make it work. I prefer to use Thunderbird for my email - how can I make it work? Also, I have tried the Thunderbird 'Automatic Account Configuration' help and it does not work.

Ask your less than helpful provider for the server settings and setup the new account up manually.
You want to know IMAP or POP and the name of the server. The port number and if it uses SSL/TLS security.
You need the same info for the SMTP server for outbound mail.

My emails will not post

For the last few days my emails will not go further than the outbox, they are replies and new emails, but none will actually sennd out. Is there anything i can check on the iPad as this is really annoying.

Hi Tom,
I have tried everything that has been written about the problem, unfortunately, nothing has worked and since the original email problem, my connection to iTunes and Apple had also crashed. I then resorted to calling Applecare Protection Plan as I had paid for the extra two years cover as I live in Spain and wanted the extra cover.
The contact at Apple, Ireland, has tried everything to resolve the problem, re-setting the iPad to Factory settings and downloading all my contacts and Apps onto iCloud then back onto the iPad........ The iTunes and Apple App are now functioning correctly, BUT the email situation is not resolved and the problem is going to be looked into fully and my contact hopes she will find a solution as she hasn't come across this before.
So at the moment I can send out a new email, but if it is replied to and I then reply, the email stays in the Outbox and will not move. So thank you for your help but my case is not yet resolved.
