Google Base Feed

I am relatively new to coding language and Dreamweaver, but I
am desperately trying to build a search form that queries the
Google Base Feed, but I cannot seem to be able to bind the feed
into a data/recordset in Dreamweaver.
If anyone has any insight to this, it would be very much
appreciated.
Thanks.

It's exactly why I wrote that Numbers is not the correct tool.
To make things more complicated,
Numbers CSV are not always Comma Separated Values.
They match this definition when the decimal separator is the period.
When the decimal separator is the comma, happily, Numbers CSV are semi-Colon Separated Values.
If you really want to work with Numbers, do the job then
Select all
Copy
then run this complex script:
on run
set nomDuFichier to (do shell script "date " & quote & "+P%Y%m%d-%H%M%S" & quote) & ".txt"
set p2d to path to documents folder as text
tell application "System Events"
set leDoc to path of (make new file at end of folder p2d with properties {name:nomDuFichier, file type:"TEXT"})
end tell -- System Events
write (the clipboard as text) to file leDoc
end run
You will get the datas in a TSV file in the Documents folder.

  • Google Base Export

I've recently made the move from PC to Mac and so far, few regrets... albeit I am struggling with creating a Google Base feed using Numbers.
Previously, I would create the spreadsheet in MS Excel and then save as a .txt file, before uploading to Google Base. However, if there is an option to save a Numbers File as a .txt document, I haven't been able to find it
I wondered if perhaps I have missed something? Alternatively, if the .txt option isn't available, is there an effective means of working around this issue?
All and any help very much appreciated.
    Thank you

    --\[SCRIPT Numbers2tsv]
Copy a range of cells in the clipboard.
    Run the script.
On the desktop you will get a TSV file named from the current date-time.

  • Using Google Base + eBay + Mac

Many eBay sellers have found they get the majority of their hits from Google Base, not directly from eBay. As an otherwise happy Mac user, I'm frustrated by the incompatability of Base and my Mac!!
Does anyone here use their Mac to upload store items to Google Base or know a workaround for this problem? Would some sort of Windows for Mac softwear application handle this? I'm not really thrilled with the idea of using someone else's PC to do this, the library won't let me download the Google Base stuff to their computer, and I don't have internet access through my work.
I would be VERY grateful if some kind Mac user would help me with this. I've been told you can upload items "manually", but we're talking hundreds of items that I'd love to have appearing in a Google search.
    THANK YOU! Beth

    Not so simple.
Doing this will give confusing results as the widget markup is recorded as well.
To avoid this you have to add the code post publishing and this is not very convenient for .Mac users - especially those who need blog comments etc.
If you are using Leopard you can make life a lot easier by using this application...
    http://www.zarrastudios.com/ZDS/iWebBuddy.html
.... and I'm sure you'll find an apple script to do the same thing.

  • My startup disk is full. Can I delete 16,255 Google RSS  feeds in Mail screen?

I began to investigate all avenues to free up my startup disk space. This included deleting photos, movies, downloads, emptying trash, etc. I saved 15.87 GB out of the original 500 GB Mac hard drive. (By the way, everything was backed up to an external 1 TB hard drive). At best, deleting more photos may save me another 5 GB of HDD. Still a drop in the bucket. I then noticed that in my mail screen I have 16,255 Google RSS feeds. I only have 162 Apple Hot and the 16,255 Google RSS feeds. Can I delete the Google feeds and thereby free up disk space by doing that? I still want to use Google and not lose it permanently. Will it work?

Freeing Up Space on The Hard Drive
      1. See Lion/Mountain Lion/Mavericks' Storage Display.
      2. You can remove data from your Home folder except for the /Home/Library/ folder.
      3. Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on freeing up space on your hard drive.
      4. Also see Freeing space on your Mac OS X startup disk.
      5. See Where did my Disk Space go?.
      6. See The Storage Display.
You must Empty the Trash in order to recover the space they occupied on the hard drive.
You should consider replacing the drive with a larger one. Check out OWC for drives, tutorials, and toolkits.
Try using OmniDiskSweeper 1.8 or GrandPerspective to search your drive for large files and where they are located.

  • Google Reader feeds will not open or refresh.

I've been using Google Reader on Firefox for years and it suddenly is not functioning properly. I had not made any changes to my computer, or installed new programs. Reader continues to work on IE. Feeds won't open or display; when they do it often freezes. The site lags considerably.

    Hello Apple Help Forum!
I'm looking for a Mail Client that will sync with Google Reader. I use one at home on my mac, and one at work on a PC. Does anyone know where I could find one? Thanks!

In Mountain Lion, Apple removed the ability for RSS feeds within Safari and Mail.  You will need to install an RSS application such as NewsFire or another application of your choosing.

  • Google Merchant feed

We're working on ramping up our e-commerce, and we're consistently frustrated with how antiquated the BC platform is.
I know there are code workarounds, but for the life of me I can't understand why BC hasn't adjusted product feed to be compatible with Google.
    What gives?

A little late to the party but it's quite straight forward to do. To automate it API sync to your products, get the quality, photos and everything, you sync the products every 10 days or go with google, I've done it for a few sites.
You need A TON of information to submit to google, for example bar codes, product ID's, manufacture names, very very detailed. More than 50% of the work is getting the all product information sorted out.

  • Import google reader feeds into Webfeed

    Hi,
I did a export of my Google Reader subscriptions (XML file) and I would like to import these into the webfeed app of my Nokia. When I select Import feeds the app returns with "no feeds found on phone".
Does the app expect the xml file on a certain location? Is the format wrong?
    Thanks.

  • Creating a cfhttp multi part form post for google docs upload

    Hey all,
If you saw my last thread, you know I am working with google docs and uploading documents to it. Well I got basic document uploading working, but now I am trying to include meta data. Google requires you to include the metadata with the actual file data and seperate them by using a multi part form upload. I don't know exactly the process for doing so, but they have a handy code snippet of the desired results at
    http://code.google.com/apis/documents/docs/3.0/developers_guide_protocol.html#UploadingDoc s
So I am basically trying to mimic that payload, however I am continually getting an error stating that there are no parts in a multi part form upload.
    <errors xmlns='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005'><error><domain>GData</domain><code>InvalidEntryException</code><internalReason>No parts detected in multipart message</internalReason></error></errors>
to be exact. I am not really sure what I am doing wrong here. I figure it is one of two things, either I am not including the actual data in the payload properly (I am currently using a body type param for the payload, but I have also tried a formfield named content to deliver it. Neither worked). So maybe I need to do something else tricky there? The other thing which I am not reallly sure about is the content-length attribute. I don't know exactly how to calculate that, and I read in another forum that a content length attribute was messing that guy up. Right now I am just taking the lenght of the payload string and multiplying by 8 (to get the number of bytes for the entire payload) but hell if I know if that is right. It could be I just don't know how to set up the parts for the message, it seems pretty straight forward though. Just define a boundary in the content-type, then put two dashes before it wherever you define a new part, and two dashes trailing the last part.
Anyway, here is my code, any help is much appreciate. I'm a bit beyond my expertise here (not really used to trying to have to roll my own http requests, nevermind multipart post form data) so I'm kinda flailing around. Thanks again.

  • IE 11 on Windows 7 x64 does not display FeedBurner feeds correctly

    Dear All,
I have just installed Internet Explorer 11 on my Windows 7 x64 system. It all went smoothly except for certain feeds not displaying correctly. After a bit of investigation it seems FeedBurner feeds are the ones which do not work.
Any of the FeedBurner feeds I was subscribed to previously display a webpage instead of the standard feed view, and cannot be marked as read. Also, if I try to subscribe to a new FeedBurner feed, there is no "Subscribe to this feed" link to click
    on, only the same webpage.
I have also noticed that the only Medium.com feed I am subscribed to only displays the XML code of the feed, not the standard feed view. There is only one of those, so I cannot say if it is general or not; but the FeedBurner issue is general though.
Is this a general occurrence? If so, when can we expect a solution?
    Thank you for your help.

    Dear Rob,
These forums appear as one of the available avenues for "Ask the community" in the Help > Online support menu. Besides, there are already tickets in the Microsoft Community for Home Users and Consumers about this, but no valid answers:
    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/ie/forum/ie11-iewindows8_1/bug-feedburner-rss-feeds-failing-to-format/53d33c48-21dd-4273-a3f0-eb5a80bb7ce7

I tried the Compatibility View settings, but they do not help at all.
    For example, if you try
    http://feeds.feedburner.com/aei-ideas/posts you get this:
while what I expect is something like this:
Other feeds that also exhibit this problem are:
    http://feeds.feedburner.com/LuboMotlsReferenceFrame
    http://feeds.feedburner.com/WarNewsUpdates
I have no idea what an XML data island is, but IE10 (what I was using before the upgrade) did display
https://medium.com/feed/war-is-boring correctly, while IE11 now only displays XML code.
    Thank you for your help.
