Google calendar events not showing on Iphone calendar

Hi,
I've linked my mozilla Thunderbird calendar with Google and Google with Iphone.
When adding event on Iphone it appears in Thunderbird, but not the other way round (not in calendar, not in email, nothing).. what to do?
That in fact is the one trick I need it to do as I want to be able to enter event when planned while on the phone!
Hope someone can help me.
Thanks!

Have you got a reason to use Thunderbird at all?
Why not just use Google and iPhone. They should both sync perfectly together
Google is currently sending info to the iPhone and Thunderbird, but the odd part is that the iPhone is not sending to Google, which it should easily.
Your iPhone should have Google as an account which is know to work very well.
Your PC will pick up and sync properly to Google as well. I think Thunderbird is the issue here

  • Google calendar appointments not showing on iPhone calendar

All my Google calendar appointments used to show up on my iPhone's calendar. Now they are not showing up on my iphone's calendar. What is interesting is that appointments made prior to last week are showing up on the calendar. However, apppointments made in Google calendar after last week are NOT showing up on my iPhone calendar.
Any suggestions on how to make this work? It used to work and then something strange happened ...

MAGIC happened for me as well.
    Here's what I did:
    (1) I added the Google calendar using the CALDAV option - i.e., go to Settings --> Mail, Contacts, Calendar and then choose Add Calendar. Here is a link to the instructions I followed:
    http://support.google.com/mobile/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=151674&ctx=cb&src=cb &cbid=-1g0evm93kqt46&cbrank=3
Here are the steps that I followed:
To sync with your device, follow these steps:
Open the Settings application on your device's home screen.
    Open Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
    Select Add Account...
    Select Other.
    Select Add CalDAV Account.
    Enter your account information:
In the Server field, enter [ google.com ]
In the Username field, enter your full Google Account or Google Apps email address.
In the Password field, enter your Google Account or Google Apps password.
In the Description field, enter the name you'd like to appear on the account.
Select Next at the top of your screen.
After you've completed setup, open the Calendar app on your device and syncing will automatically begin.
After this, there were 2 entries in my iphone calendar for every gmail calendar appointment - i.e., each entry appeared twice. So, I deleted the calendar I had just added following the advice above and now everything works.
Strange behavior but I am glad that my gmail calendars are now appearing in my iphone.

  • Calendar event not showing up on iPhone 5s

I created an even in gmail and it shows up on my gmail calendar and in my calendar on my macbook air but it doesn't show up on my iphone as an event.  Under the mail setting the calendar button is on.  I thought that is all I needed to do.  Please help this is important to me.

This is a tip from user Meg St. Clair:
You enable your Google calendar on the phone by entering your Gmail credentials in Settings >Mail, Contacts, Calendars >Add Account.
Make sure that "Calendar" is enabled for that account.
Make sure that you have your Google calendar set as the default calendar in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Calendar >  Default Calendar.
Now, any events you add to your Google calendar on your phone will sync to every other device that you sync your Google calendar to.
Events that you have already added to calendars listed as "On My iPhone" in the Calendar app will not sync to your Google calendar.

  • Calendar events not showing in notification centre

Was hoping there was someone out there that may have experienced the same problem, and has a solution.
I have noticed this morning that after upgrading to OS X Yosemite, I do not have my calendar events showing in notification centre. I cannot be sure that this is a result of upgrading to Yosemite.
Problem #1: In the today tab on notifications, an event did not show up for today, in both notification centre on my Mac, and on my iPhone. This seems to have been solved by changing the event from an all day event, to set hours. Is there a way that all-day events can be shown in notification centre?
Problem #2: In the today tab on notifications, down the very bottom, my Mac says there are no scheduled events for tomorrow. On the same tab on my iPhone, it says "there are 2 all-day events scheduled". Similarly, the event is listed in the notifications tab (not the today tab), in notifications centre on my phone, until you press on the event and it flicks you through to your calendar. Is anyone aware of why these events would not be showing up on my mac's notification centre?? I am assuming it has nothing to do with changing it from an all-day event, because it shows up on one device, but not another.
Calendar is switched on for notification centre on iPhone and mac.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I found when I created an event, I needed to add an alert to it. Then it started showing up.

  • Calendar events not showing up in list view

    Hi,
some of my events are not showing up in list view. They are synced to the iphone. I can see them in day and month view.
It seems to me that events created with ical and synced through MM are not showing up, but I'm not sure.
    Any idea?
    Wilfried.

Yes I have also events from the holidays and the events I created.(Invitations and others) but where is this option for the NC? In general>notifications I can't find anything about showing events from different calendars there. And how is this subscription made because I had the holidays as soon as I input my account on this device. Maybe I included the holiday calendar but I don't remember. How is that made? And where to find these options?

  • Family shared calendar events not showing in Today pull-down

    iPhone 5s
    IOS 8.0.2
When I pull down the Today/Notification screen, the calendar section will not show any events that are entered in the Family Shared calendar. Calendar events in other calendars show up fine. Is this a configurable option?

I should fix a mistake in the original post. Where I said, "And when tomorrow comes around, those events don't show in the Calendar app," it should be, "And when tomorrow comes around, those events don't show in the Calendar section of notification centre."

  • Calendar events not showing in ical

when i input an event or an invoice out of quickbooks as an all day event it puts the from: date later than the to: date. and does not show up in the calendar until i go in every time and change it to match or make the from date earlier than the to date.

This is a schema issue with QuickBooks, and you'll have to continue to update these items by hand until the issues is addressed by the Intuit programming team. I cannot believe that they are not already aware of it, but you should report it anyway.
On its face, it is ridiculous for them to create an event with an end point value which occurs prior to the start point value. All day events cannot end before they start! Actually, no event can end before it starts…
By definition, an all day event in iCal is one which starts on a particular date at 12:00:00 +0000 and ends at 12:00:00 +0000 on the next day. For example, an all day event on March 15, 2006 is represented in the truth [when pushed from iCal] as:
    2006-07-15 12:00:00 +0000
    2006-07-16 12:00:00 +0000
NOTE: I didn't pick those representations and that's not the way I would have chosen to do it, but it is what the iCal programming team has done.
As a user, you don't see the time values, and the date representation in the inspector panel is shown [for the above example] as:
    07/15/06
    07/15/06
Again, an all day event cannot end before it starts. So the data provided by the Intuit application is invalid: in effect, the event they have defined does not exist.

  • Calendar event not showing correctly

    Hi,
I'm running several iCloud calendar and encountered a weird problem today with the way an event block rendered in day view in my personal work calendar.  I'm putting in a night-shift which runs from 2230 on a Sunday 30th March 2014 to 0730 the next Monday 31st morning.  (One of several shifts in March).  All but one is displaying correctly.  The bad one that rendered incorrectly shows a blue block starting at 0730 until 2130 on the Sunday, a gap until 0000, and then a correct blue block the next day from 0000 to 0730.
I've double checked the timing details of the event in the edit view and it's definitely entered correctly - 2130 on the Sunday to 0730 on the next Monday morning.
Any ideas?  Or just a hex on March 31st 2014?

    Hi Stefano,
Is "Calendario" an oob calendar webpart based on an oob calendar list? Or is it a custom calendar?
I couldn't reproduce this issue, please create another new oob calendar list, then insert the new calendar list in a web page, see if it can be reproduced in your environment.
Also access this page contained calendar web part with IE 8/9/10 (or with IE compatibility mode), or other type browsers like chrome, firefox, etc.
And check if adding SharePoint site in IE Local intranet zone/Trusted sites zone could help.

  • Calendar events not showing up in Notification Center

Hi, somehow my calendar events don´t shop up in the notification center. My standard calendar is googlemail synced via ical, but the problem is the same even when I create events in the native mac calendar/icloud. Already tried repairing permissions several times as well as creating a new UUID as proposed as a solution if widgets are missing in notification center. Like a lot others also stated, the preferences of the notification center reset after every reboot... Any help? Thanks, Philipp

    Hi,
    Same problem.
    Thx

  • Why don't calendars in ical show in iPhone calendar

Using iPhone 4s with iOS 7.1.2 and had to restore the phone because of a problem and now the calendars that appear in ical on my macbook do not show as an option in the calendar (or in Tempo) on the iPhone so I can not long select my wife's calendar to share.
How do add calendars to the existing calendar app on the iPhone so I can sync with my wife?

  • Why are declined events NOT showing on iPhone iOS7 (setting is marked to "on")

Apparently I and some of my colleagues are having the OPPOSITE issue from most.
We are syncing with Google Calendar.
We have set "Show Declined Events" to ON
Declined Events are NOT showing on iCal.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks.

I noticed this too. I have a Google Apps for Business account through work.
This happens when I have Gmail configured as ActiveSync. But when using CalDAV - it isn't a problem. Does anyone have a solution or more informaiton on this topic?

  • Facebook events not showing up in calendar app

    Hi
I can see the events I've joined on facebook showing up on the calender app on my iphone (ios6) but can't see them on the ML (10.8.2) calendar app. my facebook account is linked with both machine. what do I miss?
    thanks in advance:)

Hello, I have had the same issue, the Facebook intergration with ioOS displays all the facebook events in the calendar - which can be a real pain if you have lots of events.
I have not found any option in iOS6 to filter by accepted events or to hide declined events. This is something Apple should really work on - sounds to me like they just bundled this into iOS6 without consideration for accepted or declined events.
So the workaround which I have found is to stop the facebook calendar in iOS6 (Settings/Facebook) and instead to subscribe to Facebook events and/or birthdays via the site straight into iCal. What is in your iCal will appear on all your devices so there you go. Make sure in FB to state that you don't want al events to be displayed. Then you'll be fine.
Use this link if you want http://www.wikihow.com/Sync-Facebook-Events-to-iCal
Make sure to go to the settings option on FB page to select which events you want displayed.
It lacks the neat little FB icon that would appear via the iOS intergration but lets hope Apple sorts this out quickly and that we'll be able to chose which events to display, accepted or rejected etc....
    Hope this helps,

  • New calendar events not syncing to iPhone 3G

  • Events not showing up in calendar

I'm using an iPhone 3Gs with iOS 4.0.1 installed.
I just found a bug in the calendar, and I'm wondering if anyone else is having this bug.
For example: I have created an event for November 1st 2010. When I go to it "day-by-day" from October 31st the event doesn't show up. Now, when I go to November 1st from November 2nd in the same way, the event shows up.
    This also happens on February 1st and March 1st 2010... and August 1st 2011... October 1st 2012...
Anyway, I have noticed that they all have something in common: they don't have any "grey" dates at the beginning of the month (in "Month" view)...
Edit: Just noticed someone else had the same bug here: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2628749&tstart=0
