Google Chrome has a popup option to translate pages or messages. Is there an add on for firefox that will do this?

Right-click option to translate the selection in a pop-up box, or the whole page.

You can't merge accounts or transfer iTunes purchases from one Apple ID to another: but there is no problem about using two IDs.
Use your iCloud ID for iCloud for syncing email, contacts, calendars, bookmarks, and PhotoStream.
Use your other Apple ID as before for iTunes, iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match.
There's no conflict about doing this, and you won't even notice as Keychain will log you in with the correct ID in each case. It's also better security not to have your iTunes login also your email address, given the number of complaints about hacked iTunes accounts.

Creating PDFs using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro and can only see the first 10 pages in PDF even when the page numbers on bottom state 10 of 13 (or any number greater than 10).

PDFs create great, unless they should be over 10 pages and then it appears the data was converted to PDF by viewing the page numbers at the bottom of the PDF but you can only view the first 10 pages in the pdf file.

Could you please let me know what exact dot version of Acrobat 9 and OS you are using.
Have you tried repairing Acrobat from the Help menu?
Acrobat 9 is an older version and incompatible with new OS versions, so I would suggest you to try using Acrobat XI (latest version) and check for the same.

Web Performance Test - Record the time of a page and name it after the page has returned.

We have a page that returns a random (as far as we are concerned) value . We need to be able to say how long it took the page when a specific value has appeared.
Here's an example:
Page.aspx can return either red, blue or green.
How do we get the timings for the times it returns red separate from the timings it returns blue etc?
I've tried the following:
1> PostTransaction web plugin - this only has read only fields for transaction name
2> RequestName - we can change this in the PostPage and PostRequest as it's not read only but this doesn't get reflected in the IDE.
3> Adding a fake transaction and then doing some wonderful SQL on the LoadTest2010 database afterwards, but this is a nasty solution and wouldn't display during run time. Not that displaying at run time is needed but the nastiness prevents this.
4> Writing to a file or DB, again a nasty solution, file would lead to locking or gathering masses of individual users files, would also lead to disk issues. DB would lock thread and is advised against in a webtest I believe.
Any ideas please?

The "Photos" view has been replaced by the Media Browser.
Most applications will show you the Photos icon in the Sidebar, when you need to select photos in a file chooser dialoge. Mail, Safari, the iWork apps. See Terence Devlin's User Tip: How to Access Files in iPhoto
For example, in the File > Open dialogue in Preview I am seeing this in the sidebar.

Unfortunately google chrome has stopped working - This is the error message I get constantly on my one week old Turbo. I've tried Chrome, Chrome Beta, Dolphin and Firefox. They all crash. It does seem to happen more often in landscape mode. Google keyboard was crashing too but an install of Swiftkey seemed to fix this problem. Is this a software problem that may be fixed in an update? I really like this phone but using the internet is painful when it crashes every minute

Have done all of that. Didn't help. This problem started the day I got the phone home. This seems to be an issue with many phones, but a google search provides no clear cut fix. It seems to be a luck of the draw whether a phone has problems like this or not. Thanks for the reply

Open the App
Hold down the power button until the slider appears
Hold down the home button (Don't use the slider) Until the App Closes
You might lose your place, but shouldnt be too hard to find it again...

Open Adobe Reader | Edit | Preferences | Documents: change View Documents in PDF/A Mode to Never.

I am having problems opening pages in safari. the rotating wheel at the right end of the address window doesn't stop even after the page has filled up. then if i try to open other pages it gets stuck and won't open them.

I started having problems opening pages today. When first open a page it seems to download the page OK, but the rotating wheel on the right-hand end of the address field keeps rotating after the page is completely filled up. Then if I try to open other pages it becomes slower and eventually stops filling-in the pages, while the rotating wheel keeps rotating.
I wonder whether junk is being downloaded into my mac, or what is going on. Help will be geatly appreciated.

When was the last time you emptied the Safari cache?
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Empty Cache
If that didn't make a difference, go back to the menu bar click Safari > Reset Safari. Select the top 5 boxes then click Reset.
And how much free space on the startup disk?
Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon. Click Get Info. In the Get Info window you will see Capacity and Available. Make sure you always have a minimum of 15% free disk space. Freeing Up Hard Disk Space - Mac Guides
If emptying cache or resetting didn't help and there's enough free space on the startup disk, login to another user account, launch Safari. Same problems there indicates a system wide problem. Log back into your admin account so you can check the startup disk.
Launch Disk Utility. /Applications/Utilities
Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left then select the First Aid tab.
Click: Verify Disk (not Verify Disk Permissions)
If the startup disk needs repairing, follow the instructions for Using Disk Utility to verify or repair disks

Nothing should "download" to your Mac unless you initiate the download yourself. You can check the Downloads folder from the Safari > Window menu or your Downloads folder in the Finder.

I primarily print photos from Photoshop CS5. The term Page Set-up has gone missing in the file pull down menu. Can't make any choices There are no page sizes, paper types, appearsto be locked on a 13x19 size paper format. Either being too large or too small.
Saw a 2008 locked issue about this however none of the help fit my situation, options discussed are not available to me.
Preview has no "Page Setup" - or does it?
Does the constant struggle with computer compatability weirdness issues ever end or is it a enslavement scheme?

Hey,
if you know the name(s) of the root folder(s) you want to access (eg. by making a note on the Windows side) then you can make them appear by just doing Shift-Command-G in Finder ("Go to Folder…"), and entering the full path to the required folders. You can then navigate all the contents as normal.

I can't get on secured websites like my bank or email. The login stays on a flash page and never goes to the content.

When I try to log into my bank account, the login takes as usual, then the splash page comes up that says 'verifying your identity' and never goes away and I never get to my bank account. Other browsers, like IE and Chrome log in fine. I have an e-mail login that does the same thing at https://register.concentric.com/login.cgi
It just has the circle going around on a "Logging In" splash page and never goes to the mail.
Again, other browsers work fine.
