Google Docs link Help PLEASE
would anyone mind please helping me understand why the google doc link URL that i embed in my website keeps going to the main page instead of the document I am trying to link - or alternatively is requiring me to login before I access the document?
I /simply/ want to be able to let someone click on a link and go to a document that I have posted to Google docs and each time I do this one or the other of the above issues comes up.
I even tried to SHARE the document from withing the Google Docs interface and when I click on the two links in the email they both come up as inacessible (problem number 3).

I've commented out some text there but it seems to me that these never work. For instance on the last link on this page here I never get it to go to the document: http://www.universaljointdesign.com/wwwcms/welcome.php?menu=2

Can't use google. Little help please
For some reason I cannot use Google as a search engine or access its website. Would really like to resolve this. Any help is really appreciated.
Things I have tried:
1.) Ping google and it was successful
The address it is using is 173.194.117.242
To make things weird, if I use this numerical address in the search cue I in fact get access to the google website
2.) I flushed the DNS in "Terminal"
Not sure if that did anything. I read somewhere to try it

I do live in South Korea so that's why its in Korean. Basically it tells me I need to update google chrome (which I am not even using) or download some binary patch that really only is meant for Microsoft users so it doesn't work on my computer anyway.
So...Why is it that I can reach 173.194.117.242 (google) but then am directed to that strange web page in korean when I use google as a search engine in my browser (firefox,safari)

Flash 8 file upload .doc & .pdf help, please
I've been working with the file upload sample that came with

Hi,
When iWeb first came out I created my site. I'm just now updating the site by adding 2 new pages - News and Abbacadabra. On all the original pages, I was able to make the links all white and the mouseover and click were shades of gray. On the two new pages I can make the text white but as soon as I choose 'Enable as hyperlink' the link becomes medium gray and the mouseover is black. I simply can't get it to do anything else.
Maybe this is the same question Robin was asking?
Anyway, I cannot figure out how to make the links on these 2 new pages the same as the originals ones. I want to do this within iWeb as I did before, not use textedit or anything. I'm already going to have to do enough of that shortly.
I've tried retyping, copying and pasting the entire box of links to the 2 new pages, just the linked text, the unlinked text....every combination. I even tried copying the dark links from the 2 new pages to one of the original pages - they remain white on the original pages. The color picker seems disabled or something.
Am I missing something or do I have to redo all the original pages and forget the white text links I have on the original pages. Either I've forgotten something or something has changed...
I apologize if this is a subject that has been discussed to death. I tried to read everything before asking. I'm just in a tight deadline now and need to know if there is any hope of fixing it.

I believe I did start out with the plain white template on all pages so I don't think that is it... I will investigate that further to make sure.
I would love to do what you're suggesting regarding duplicating one of the original pages but I can't figure out how to 'duplicate' the page. I don't see anything in the menu that allows me to make a page as a copy of an existing one. Can you tell me how to do that then?
I did already simply copy the text boxes, etc. from one page to a new one but even that didn't work. Very odd.

Captivate 5 files not working in Atlantic link, help please

I've previously been using Captivate 4 and publishing swf files to be loaded in to Atlantic Link's Content Point. To get the swf files to work in the past have publish set the publishing preferences to using Action Script 2 (AS2) settings. This is not an option in Captivate 5. When I put the swf files in to Content Point and publish the elearning the swf files will not run correctly, different elements appear all over the screen.
Does anyone know of a way to resolve this problem.

Captivate 5 SWF are now AS3 .looks like you have to setup your Content point to AS3 .

Linking a Google Docs document to an InDesign document
Hi,
I have written a book in Google Docs that I'm planning to typeset in InDesign.
I want to keep editing and adding to the Google Docs document, while I'm typesetting in InDesign.
Is there a way to have the Indesign document be "dynamically" linked to the Google Docs document? So that changes made in Google Docs can be easily "pulled into" the InDesign document?
I have tried to save the Google Docs file as an RTF and I have imported that RTF as a linked file into my InDesign file, but every time I update the RTF the InDesign formatting is lost.
I'd appreciate your help.

I downloaded an upgrade to my adobe reader today, and ever since my search engine has switched to yahoo and wont change back to google. I have a macbook pro, help please? Does anyone know how I can change this back? I have tried through my settings but it doesnt work

If you are using Safari as a web browser :-
Open Safari, go to Safari menu > Preferences > General, and put Google as the homepage. Then, choose Google as your default search engine.
If you are using Google Chrome as the web browser :-
Open Google Chrome.
In the top right corner of the page, click the Chrome menu Chrome menu > Settings.
In the "Search" section, select Google from the drop-down menu.

Hi all! I was updating the software on i pad to ios6, update was interrupted(apple update server is unavailable...). iTunes Diagnostics shows that "secure link to I tunes store failed". I use Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Can anybody help please?

And Google chrome just keep loading the page for hours and nothing is appear on its browser. But safari and firefox working absolutly fine.

Best Regards,You need to upgrade your copy of MS Office. You're using a version that is 8 years old (at least). You can buy Office 2011, which will work. You could also get a copy of Pages from the App Store, which is cheaper and will open Word files (though not perfectly). Or you could get a free Office clone, like OpenOffice or LibreOffice.

Tried to upgrade as instructed and after uninstalling and reinstalling (even back to the former iTunes which I was happy with)several times, keep getting message "Procedure entry point could not be located in dynamic link library" followed by "iTunes was not installed properly" "Error 7". Help, please??
Entry point errors can usually be fixed by deleting the offending dll, then repairing the component it is part of from the programs and features control panel. Unfortunately you neglected to include the detail of which dll is mentioned.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for installation or performance issues, or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there are also links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.

Is it possible to link text from Pages into an InDesign document [as you can with Google docs]?
In InDesign, you can get a plug-in [word flow] which allows you to link the text in a Google Docs document into an InDesign document, so that you can edit the text in Google Docs [on your computer/tablet etc] and it will update in the InDesign document. Additionally, if you edit the text in teh InDesign docuemnt, the Google Docs file is also updated.
Is there a plug-in for Pages? Or a way to do this [without ditching Pages and starting to use Google Docs]?
