Google Earth won't use QGtkStyle

Question

I'm running 64-bit Arch, and I can't get Google Earth to use QGtkStyle even though other 32-bit programs, e.g. Skype, are correctly themed. I have all the proper 32-bit libraries installed, including lib32-qt and lib32-gtk2. Here is my .gtkrc-2.0:
gtk-font-name="DejaVu Sans 9"
gtk-theme-name="Clearlooks"
gtk-icon-theme-name="Tango"
#gtk-fallback-icon-theme="Tango"
#gtk-toolbar-style=GTK_TOOLBAR_ICONS
gtk-menu-images=1
gtk-button-images=1
I also have
export GTK2_RC_FILES="/etc/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:$HOME/.gtkrc-2.0"
in my .bashrc. As I said, all 32-bit qt apps work correctly except Google Earth, which appears without the QGtkStyle theme and with poor font rendering. Anyone have any ideas?

1) run qtconfig in terminal
2)  Select GUI Style: GTK+
3) Save changes and exit.
4) Relog in order the changes to take effect.
I hope you get it sorted out.
Thanks for th help. However, those steps do not work for Google Earth, though they seem to work for every other 32-bit qt application.
