Google Gmail Phone Call Feature in Minefield 64 bit for Windows

The Phone Call feature contained within google's GMail application does not appear to be working in the 64 bit version of Firefox (entitled Minefield). It seems to work OK on most 32 bit browsers, but not the 64 bit versions. Any ETA on when this problem will be fixed?

That's fine. I've asked them as well. I just thought I'd cover all the bases, since ultimately this involves "two great products that work great together"

Can some one please point out what features are supported by the LV RTE (Minimum ) [LabVIEW 2009 SP1 Run-Time Engine (Minimum) (32-bit) for Windows]
1) Is there a limit on the size of the exe which can be run on it?
2) Will this support additional modules like DAQ etc.,? Or do we have to chose the regular installer ( 170 Mb ) for that purpose?

I did go through both the links that you had sent earlier before posting on the forum. For eaxample refer the following link where it says,

It does not contain the full run-time engine, but will allow some executables to run.
1) What do they mean by 'some' executables. Is there a list of yay's and no's available?
2) Can someone from NI reply to this and shed more knowledge?

How to call a Linux exe from LabVIEW for Windows

I need to call a non-LabVIEW Linux executable using LabVIEW for Windows. Any suggestions, aside from buying LabVIEW for Linux?

Okay, I'll throw out a few ideas and I'll let you pick which one you may think is easiest.
1. Use the internet toolkit ($$$) or build a simple telnet client yourself in LabVIEW (use the TCP VIs in labview). This would allow you to connect to the telnet port of your linux box, login, password, and execute a command. (You'll probably want to use nohup, do a man on nohup to find out more).
2. Install SSH daemon on your linux box, and an ssh client on your windows machine. You can't get SSH for windows from cygwin. This would be more secure, and you wouldn't need to use the TCP VIs, you could simply use the "system exec" vi to call SSH.
3. On your linux box, install your app in inetd. Then, whenever someone connected to a certai
n port # on the linux box, it would execute your command. A little dangerous because someone might try to connect 50 million times (or a port scan) and kill your box. You also wouldn't be able to send a dynamic command line argument.
4. Write a small TCP application on your linux box to wait for connections (listen for command line options) and execute your command.
You'll probably find one of these options ideal depending on your administration and programming background.

Cancel Phone Call Feature

I'm trying to find a way to deleate the feature that allows me to call telephones internationally, and I can't find one. It's only charging me a couple dollars a month but it's charging me on an account that I no longer use and has no money. I would transfer it to another card, but I no longer have use for that feature. How do I get rid of it entirely???

What's happening with the RTX8088 phones and the 7/7/15 Skype for Windows update?

RTX8088 Skype Dual phone

I've never heard of the RTX8088. I have heard of the RTX4088. A dual-phone that doesn't require a computer is a stand-alone device. It doesn't require a version of the Desktop or Modern Skype software. Even the USB tethered ones that do utilize the desktop version. There isn't one that operates on the modern version of Skype. The discontinuation of modern Skype would have no affect on a dual phone or a USB tethered phone.

Phone calls in Facetime keeps getting disabled

I'm having trouble activating iPhone Cellular calls in FaceTime in Yosemite. When I try to check the "iPhone Cellular Calls" checkbox in the preferences I get a message saying that "FaceTime and iCloud must be signed in to the same Apple ID to use iPhone and Cellular Calls". Which they are. If I log out from FaceTime and then log in again, I'm able to turn on the phone calls feature, however, and I'm even able to make and receive calls. However, after a certain period (hours, minutes...) the functionality seems to be disabled or turned off again - the checkbox is unchecked and when I try to activate it, I get the same error message again.
Anyone else having this problem?

I still can't be on a phone call and use data without wifi on my Droid Turbo. I thought this was going to be fixed by late November.

I am so disappointed. I am a long time Droid user and research the Droid Turbo for several months before purchasing. I even read the reviews that indicated that there was a issue when attempting to use the phone calling feature and data at the same time. I called Verizon and talked with a rep. who indicated that he had the new phone and assured me that this issue had been fixed. Unfortunately, when I received the phone this was not the case. Even an update shortly after purchase still did not fix this issue. All of my Droids before this did not have this issue...how can a newer more improved phone? I even called Motorola and the English of the representative was so bad that I could not overcome the language barrier therefore no solution was reached. Wish I had my Razr HD back :{

I can understand the concern CCONLEY. Go to Settings>Advanced Calling> and select Activate Advanced Calling or contact Customer Service to get the features added. Once added Reboot device and go back to Setting>Advanced Calling>and ensure the Advanced Calling switch is set to On. Ensure you are in a 4G LTE service area and test again. Online security - Calling Features

I am concerned that phone Calling Features can be viewed and changed online without any security requirements.
The Sticky posting "Easier ways to order phone handsets & calling features" provides a link for "Ordering calling features online". The "Change Your Calling Features" button on this page only requires a phone number and postcode to be able to view and change the calling features for that line. The only security feature is a check-box "I confirm I am the account holder"! No MyBT registration or Account Number is required. If any changes are made, all that is requested is an email address, which is not verified.
This process strikes me as being open to malicious use. Phone numbers and postcodes are easily associated. The "Start Your Order" page even provides a handy "Don't know postcode" link! This seems to be all that is required to (for example) turn off caller ID or Answer 1571, or sign up for calling features packs on any phone number you like.
Do you not think that perhaps a bit more security is required on this process?

Phone calls on Mac

I really want to be able to use the phone call feature on my Mac. I'm familiar with how to set it up and have it working properly. Here's the issue- the Mac ringing with every phone call is incredibly annoying!
- Is there a way to have *NO* ringtone when the Mac rings? (just silence)? Couldn't seem to find this in the FaceTime settings.
- Is there a way to have the Mac not ring at all (and just use for outgoing calls)?
- Does the Mac honor the iPhone's 'silent/vibrate' switch? (so if your iPhone is silent, then the Mac won't ring either?)

Messaging was still working from iPhone. I'd checked to make sure I was signed in with new password on iPhone, at least I thought I did. For whatever reason, it seems to have magically fixed itself, however. Thanks for your help.

Confirm it with your local Sony store or Xperia care, because not all features are available in all regions/versions but looking at manual it should be able to make and answer calls as normal device:

When receiving phone calls, the background apps play through the speaker making it impossible to hear the person on the other line. How do i fix this? This started happening on my iphone 4 and now i have the same problem with my iphone 4s.

I once had a phone call in the middle of a trip. I was listening to my music and phone rang. It was work calling. I answered the phone and the music continued to play. I had to tell the person to hold, then i had to use multitask to find the app and manually turn it off. Once that was done, i retrurned to the phone call to find out that when i receive an email it too plays through the speaker while i am on the phone. Why wouldn't it mute these things while i am making a phone call? Is there a setting for this? It seems to me that this only happened since IOS 5, but i can't be 100%. What i am 100% on is the fact that it happened on my Iphone 4 and is now happening on my Iphone 4s.

If so, when a call is received while listening to music with the iPod, when the call is answered the music should be paused. When ending the call, the music starts playing again from where is was paused.
There is no automatic mute with notifications for received email or messages while on a call and there is no setting for this.

Network activity icon turns when making a phone call

Not sure if this is normal or not, but when i make a phone call the network activity icon scrolls for a few seconds. this icon is the one to the right of the 3g letters at the top of the screen. Is this normal? I'm used to seeing this move when checking email or surfing the net but never when just making a call.

I had the same problem just one hour ago. I could not hear the person I's talking to unless I put it on speaker.
I restarted my iPhone 4 and still the problem was there.
And it automatically started working again in one hour.
I would suggest to shake the iPhone a little and try to reboot and see if it's helping.

Navigating away from phone call

Hello. I want to love my new Q10 as I loved my bold, but some seemingly simple things are frustrating me! And I am not technical, so help appreciated. Can anyone tell me if I can navigate away from a phone call to go into another area (for example my calendar) while staying on the call? Used to be so easy and allowed me to check my calendar or even send a bbm if I was stuck on a long speakphone call. Thanks!
