Google image not clear on iPod 5?

Hi!
So the problem is, google images don't load and becomes clear when I click them? Like let's say, I searched up "apples" on google images, click the first one, and you know how when u swipe it goes to the next picture right ? But before that, right after u click the picture, it would usually take few seconds to make the picture clear and not blurry. But for my iPod, when i click the picture and wait for awhile, nothing happens. The picture is still unclear and blurry. Is this normal?
I hope there's a solution to this! Cause it's really time consuming to click "full size image" in order for the picture to be clear. I'm sure it wasn't like this before, but I don't know what happened. Please help!
Thank you very much everybody!!

I have never seen that performance discussed here before.
I would try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- If using Safari go to Settings>Safai and Clear History, Cookies and Data
- Also if using Safari try a different browser like Chrome
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

  • Google Images not working in Safari on Iphone

Since a while back the "images"-tab in google does'nt work on the iPhone in any of the browsers I've tried. I've searched the net to find others with the same problem but with little luck. Here's a description of the problem.
For example I search for "dog" in google in the Safari browser, this works just fine.
Then I press the "images"-tab and get a thumbnail view with pictures of dogs, of course.
But this is where it all goes wrong, when touching one of the images I get an enlarged view of an image next to it. The "back to the results" and "full image" buttons dim out (without being touchable) and swiping does not work. I don't know what has caused this to stop working properly, I know its not the new iOS version though.
HERE is a youtube video I prepared that explains the problem.
First, is there anyone else out there with this problem?
Second, this is what I've tried:
    - Other iPhone web browser applications, for example "Mercury", "Opera Mini", "Skyfire" and none of them works except "Dolphin" (good work).
    - Resetting any of the settings in the phone, clearing cache and such have no effect.
    - Resetting the iPhone totally, factory settings. No effect.
    - Using someone elses iPhone. I've tried on an iPhone 4 and iPhone 3S, same problems (with iOS 5.01).
    - Trying out all of the settings in google, no change.
    - Setting the google view to "classic" instead of "mobile" works of course, but that makes the site look just like on a PC or Mac and is not what I'm after.
Third, this problem seems to just affect Swedish users from what I can tell. There would be thousands of posts about this if everyone in the world was affected by it, but so far I've seen no posts on this matter. But after searching a while I found a swedish forum site on the subject. Link (in swedish). Also, when visiting google from Sweden some form of script automatically changes the url from .com to .se. I don't know if this has something to do with it?
Anyone know what causes this problem and how It might be resolved?
    Best Regard
    Stefan, Sweden

    Hi Stefan,
First; this must be the most thorough error discription I have ever seen. Impressive.
Second; yep for a couple of weeks now I've been having exactly the same problems as you describe. One other thing that I've noticed, is that for me, the 'word suggestion drop down list' or whatever it's name is, no longer works. More specificly:
I open Safari in my iPhone, surf to Google image search and type for example "dog" in the search field. Below the field, I now get a list of suggested words or phrases that I think is based on the most popular searches. For me, the first suggestion in this list is "dogo argentino" (a specific and popular breed of dogs). When I tap on the words "dogo argentino", the search field normally would switch input from "dog" to "dogo argentino" AND starts the image search automatically. However, since the problem showed up, when I tap on "dogo argentino" the input field is not affected (still reads "dog") and I would have to type "dogo argentino" manually and hit "search".
I use a Swedish iPhone 4S (5.0.1 (9A406)) in the Telenor network. I also have tested the same possible solutions that you describe in your post, but with no luck.
    All the best,
    Ingo

  • Google Images not working on iPhone safari (3GS, 5.1.1)

I have run into a small bit of trouble with my iPhone's Safari Browser. For some reason, Google Images is not allowing me to open images of go to the next page of images.
Example: I run "Lotus" (as in the automobile) into Google and click images. It shows the thumbnails of the sportscar, but when I click on any thumbnail, it does not open like it normally would. When I hold down onto the thumbnail, it gives me an option to save the image of copy it, not open it.
Also, when I go to the page over arrow to see the photos on page two, it does not move from page one no matter how many times I click it.
I have cleared the cache, cookies and history from the device, powered off and on the phone, switched between private browsing and back again and no change.
It had been working fine up until the update the other day.
Any suggestions on how to remedy this problem?

It's not just you. A whole host of people, including me, started having this issue today.  I have a 3GS running 5.0.1.  I have been reading or the couple hours and it seems it's a cross platform issue, not an iPhone issue.  Seems to be something wrong with google mobile image search. Some are reporting success with switching from mobile to classic view in google.
Now I think we need to just wait on google to fix the issue.

  • Google images not displaying properly

I have recently downloaded some add-ons, for the first time, and since then google image searches on display about eight images.
Deleting the add-ons, except for Flagfox, has not helped.

If images are missing then check that you do not block images from some domains.
Check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
Check "Tools > Page Info > Media" for blocked images
*Select the first image link and use the cursor Down key to scroll through the list.
*If an image in the list is grayed and "<i>Block Images from...</i>" has a checkmark then remove this checkmark to unblock images from this domain.
Make sure that you do not block (third-party) images, the <b>permissions.default.image</b> pref on the <b>about:config</b> page should be 1.
There are extensions like Adblock Plus (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images and other content.

Hello William, thank you so much for your advice! It was indeed the firewall in the modem. We turned it off & viola solved a problem that had been plaguing us for months!! Your discussion thread info was most helpful & informative. I will just add that the other confirming clue was when I went to use smile box for the first time on the new Imac & the clever little application also diagnosed the problem & popped up a message in English! asking if we had a personal firewall as smile box was not able to access the internet & then some technical stuff. So thanks for your prompt attention. Very much appreciated.
    Cheers Rob & Catherine

  • Dynamic Graphics - Image not clear in HTML page

    Hi,
i tried to generate the image from Dynamic Graphics( 3D Dial gauge). It creates successfully but when i show this image in HTML page it is not clear i.e values and arc are showing like points and words in description also shows as splited. How to avoid this? How to display images clearly?
    regards
    senthil

I don't know if this will help, but you may want to try rendering the image larger than the size you will display on the page.
If you do a search in the forum for 'svg' you might find some usefull threads.

  • Google images not working

Is anyone else having issues with google images on iPhone 4 s? I can search and it will load up a page of images but I cannot bring up the full size pic or move to the next page. However google search is fine and if image results show in a web search I can access them fine

I'm having the exact same problem too. I can't even describe how unbelievably frustrating this is... I tried turning my phone off and on with no help. And based on things I've read, many have tried anything and everything but all in vain. I immediately sprung into action and tried what was mentioned above about clearing cookies/history but no luck Does anyone know a way around this at least for the tmie being until its fully resolved? This is a huge inconvience.. Apple or Google or anyone, you need to fix this ASAP!! Out of desperation I deleted the Google app the iPhone initially came with and re-dowloaded it..to my relief it worked ok BUT for only about a day or two cause it began to do the exact same thing. Also, i have the iPhone 4s like you and I've had this problem for about 2 to 3 weeks now
Sorry I couldnt be of help but  I too wonder how many more people have this issue and most importantly what to do about it... either way good luck

  • Google images not linking

Yes. you're right. Google images works. But I like Bing image searches now. It's better! Lol.

BlackBerry Z30 user - with Rogers Canada. Same issue. Suddenly stopped working. Images on Bing working fine! I'm assuming yet another update that wasn't tested on BlackBerry platform? Keep bumping into this everywhere. Companies are just not putting their infrastructure money towards BlackBerry. Sad to see... But that's the reality. :-(

  • IMac to lcd tv image not clear.  How do I fix that?

I have a mini dvi to s-video/component adapter to send signal to a 22" lcd tv in another room. the tv is capable of the same resolution (1680x1050) as the imac display. for some reason the image is not as sharp and clear on the tv as it is on the imac, regardless if I use the component out or s-video out. I've adjusted settings in the display as well. how do I get the image on the lcd tv to look as clear as it does on the computer? Will the mini dvi to dvi and dvi to hdmi adapters change everything? thanks

Your TV maybe capable of the same resolution as your mac, however, the s-video/component is your bottle neck. Despite the fact that your TV matches your monitor resolution, s-video/component is only capable of producing a standard definition image (480i @ 640x480). Your TV is stretching the image to match its resolution which is why it's coming out so blurry.
If your TV has any extra HDMI inputs (or one of the rare that have a standard DVI port), you might want to look into getting a mini-DVI to DVI adapter if your TV has a DVI port. If it does not have a DVI port, then you'll need to get a mini-DVI to DVI adapter as well as a DVI to HDMI adapter. Using these methods should match your resolution and everything will look like they should.
    Hope it helps =]

  • Google Images Not Showing past Page 1

Since installing FireFox 4, I have received a Google Redirect Virus, that I finally fixed after weeks of research AND, I can only see images in the 1st page of search results.
I see that there are multiple pages available but the images are grayed out.
I've seen many others having these same problems since installing FireFox 4. WOW, are you serious!
    Can anyone fix this problem?

Frankly, I'm am totally confused how this many problems can come from a FireFox upgrade.
I'm a graphic designer and I use Google as my primary source for information that aids my design work. Having a Redirect Virus and a Broken Images Search has seriously destroyed last month of income.
I'm currently trying to purchase my first house and losing out on the jobs I was trying to get has made that nearly impossible.
I am really hope you guys can fix this because I can't work with it as it is. Also, I was totally wiped out when that Redirect Virus hit my computer. No Work, No Income and for WHAT?
You firefox people need to not ruin peoples lives with your updates!

  • Camera icon does not appear when use Google Image Search

    Hello,
I am working on a much older macbook pro (2006) running OS 10.6.8 and Safari 5.1.10.
Just the other day I reinstalled Safari, as some things appeared to not be working properly. However, there was nothing wrong with Google. SInce then, when I try to search by Google Image, the camera icon does not appear in the search bar. I have tried reinstalling Safari twice, but nothing changes. I have checked in Firefox and it shows up as expected.
I have cleared the cache, deleted cookies, and cleared browser history. None of these steps have produced any changes.
Also, I seem to have reverted to some earlier version of Google, since the search tools now appear on the top left, as show below.
Can you please assist me in sorting this out so that Safari and Google perform as expected.
    Thank you very much.
    Val

I posted that work around on the google forums and it actually came from the Apple forums from users 'Society Girl' and refined by 'spiza' from this thread.
    Google Reverted to Old Layout
I called a friend at a tech magazine and he *cough* unofficially* cough* said via contacts it was a very deliberate move by Google... nothing to do with their upgrades or a hack coincidentally not working as a by product with old browsers.
    oh boy...
'Google flushes out users of old browsers by serving up CLUNKY, AGED version of search'
'Ad giant: Yeah, we did that deliberately'
In a separate thread, as spotted by a Reg reader who brought this sorry affair to our attention, user MadFranko008 was able to show that even modern browsers - including the current version of Chrome - were apparently spitting out glitches on Apple Mac computers.
Google then appeared to have resolved the search "bug" spotted in Chrome.
    http://www.theregister.co.uk/2014/08/31/google_search_browser_support/
    and on the BBC website...
Google 'discourages' users of old browsers
Google has started showing old versions of its search page to people using out-of-date versions of some web browsers.
The problem was most pronounced among those using variants of Safari 5.1 and Opera 12.
A Google message posted to the forum said the change was made to "encourage" people to upgrade their browser

  • Images not loading on my iPod.

My iPod touch, for some reason won't load some of google images. When I search for something, I get the first page of results, but nothing after that ever loads. I'm not sure if it's my iPod or my router blocking the rest of the results, so if anyone has any idea how to fix this, help would much appreciated. Also, it's a 3rd gen 32gb model. I'm running OS4. Thanks.

Try this: add Google's DNS servers to your list of DNS entries:
This document discusses how to do it:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3408
Hope this helps - it is really strange....
BTW, what happens under a new user account?
If the problem persists, it might be an internet plugin causing the issue. To figure out which one, take a look at this document:  http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3230
The plugins would affect all browsers.

I am running Windows 8. Although my contacts and notes from my Ipod touch  show up on icloud my calendar entries do not show up even though they do show up in my Google calendar and my windows phone calendar. Any suggestions not already covered in trouble shooting articles?

As I mentioned earlier, you have to decide which calendar you want to use.  You can either use Google or iCloud, but not both.
If you want to use your iCloud calendar, go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Account (in the Calendar section) and set this to your iCloud calendar.  After doing so, all new events you add to your calendar will be added by default to your iCloud calendar, and as a result, will appear on icloud.com and your computer (if it is syncing calendars with your iCloud account).
If, on the other hand, you want to use your Google calendar (as it sounds like you are doing with your iPod), simply add the same Google calendar to your phone and your computer.
