Google maps causes firefox to crash, I get script stop error message and every window freezes and then crashes
Hi, I use Google maps a lot everyday, and ever since this new firefox update and the new google update it cause firefox to crash. So I basically the the stop script message after window lags and doesnt load, and then it just shows me on all the firefox windows that are open "not responding". Basically I cant do any anything after that except end task everything or firefox just closes by it self. Please help out

Latest Google Maps Causes Firefox to Crash 100% of the time.

Looking at this one, it said that it was fixed by a known bug:

That bug says that it is resolved in version 29. I was running version 27. I manually checked for updates (for some reason it did not prompt me?), downloaded and installed version 28. Version 29 is not available. Version 28 crashed at Google Maps as well, though it took a little longer. Version 28's crash is available here:

Completely different error.
I could not get it to crash in safe mode. It slowed down to a snails pace, like it often does right before it crashes, but it stayed up. I rebooted to full mode, updated some plugins and disabled others. Restarted, and went back into Google Maps. It did a lot better than it did earlier in the day, but it did eventually crash. Yet another crash, but all of these happen when I go to Google Maps. I'd love to get support, but I don't think I'll be spending any more hours on this. I'll either stop using Google Maps or stop using Firefox if this doesn't go away very soon. -
How to get rid of error messages when booting Windows Vista on a Mac
I know there's a way, I've seen a page where there were step by step instructions on HOW TO do it. I just can't seem to find it now.

When launching PS 3 I get an updater error message...
When I launch PS 3, be it from LR 3 or just on its own, I get the following error message in a window:

i have downloaded and uninstalled firefox several times now,but i get the same error message 'corrupt file' How do i fix this and i also go to the home page to download as well as others,i have also tried downloading to my laptop the same amount of times and i get the same error message :( very unhappy

I keep getting time out error messages when trying to install flash player
I've put a new install of Win 7 64 bit pro onto a new hdd. All other s/w has worked fine and not given me any issues except for adobe flash player. If I just install FP 11 it installs ok. Issue happens when I try to install the "other" version for Steam. The install screen stops at 11%, shoots up to 47%, then I get a timeout error message. If I uninstall and install the Steam version 1st it works then the regular version gets the same timeout error. I have folllowed all advice from previous threads on this topic such as disabling firewall (I use Panda), a clean adobe install using the flash player uninstall program and removing reader as well then going through the registry and removing all mention of adobe, etc, etc.
I found a partial way around this. I installed the Steam version of flash player, then found a website that I could download flash player 10 executable from. I was able to run that and get both versions of flash player going on my system. Then the flash player went and found the update to version 11. I've just tried to install that and I end up with the exact same error messages all over again.
Is there website that I can download the executable file for flash player 11 from or a link to it on the adobe website?I am not sure what you mean by "Flash Player for steam"; the only Flash Player installers I know is the ActiveX (for Internet Explorer) and the plugin (for other browsers); you can find both at http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player- windows.html#main-pars_header

After opening certain websites, pogo, firefox 4.0.1 closes with no error message. When I restore the session I get: Well, this is embarrassing. Firefox is having trouble recovering your windows and tabs. This is usually caused by a recently opened web page.
I have had this problem before and had to reinstall an earlier version of firefox.
The error console has a long list of errors, many of them end with: does not implement nsIObserver. Is there a way to send the information on the error console to firefox support?
Redownloading Firefox 4.0 will fix my problem until I either close firefox or turn off my computer. The problem recurs when I open firefox again.See:

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.<br />

Are you using a bookmark or does this also happen if you type the address of the main (home) page of the website?
Bookmarked pages can become invalid, so you may have to enter the main page and then navigate to the wanted page.
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

When I use the shortcut to open a new window in safari (command N) on my Macbook Pro, I get a 404 error message from Google. How do I change where 'Command N' routes to?
It's not necessary to change the Command N keystroke..
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Then delete the cache.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that didn't help, troubleshoot Safari extensions.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall. -

Firefox stops working after a short time of running, I keep getting a Net Error message
I am very frustrated with Firefox! I can load firefox fine in the morning, but after a short time it quits working & I get a Net Error message. I notice it most on Facebook! When I click like, it won't do nothing but sut there working, if open in a new tab, I get the net error message. I try to open other websites & get the net error message. I checked & I am running the latest version. I am running fine on IE, but I like Firefox! I've been using it for years with no problems, but after an update is when I started experiencing problems. I waited thinking, firefox will fix it with another update, but no fix! I am running Windows 7 on a Gateway computer & have had no problems with older versions of Firefox. I'm sending all this information via Internet Exployer since Firefox won't work!
