Google Maps Compass Mode is not working ( Neo V )

I read somewhere in the internet that can be related to a new way how google maps asks the compass info and the old devices (as xperia 2011) don't show the info in the proper vector way.
Can someone add more info?
I hope sony fix this problem.

It's the same here. I just had a look in Google Maps in one of the Xperia neo V's with ICS. The compass is no longer working.
Not sure why or if it will work again with a new update of the app or the phone. I will post again if I find more information.

Adding my google map via HTML snippet not working

I have made my own site where I added a google map. It has worked for some time (oddly enough only for people who use browsers other than explorer), but recently is not functioning right.
I can embed my google map using the HTML snippet function and it seems to work fine. But when I go to the site I see a picture of the google map, but it is not interective and all the info I have added is not there.
I have to say that iweb is really querkey. I had to tell it at least 7 times to connect to a different file and each time it connects to an old file. in the end the entire page had to be rebilt before it understood what I was asking it to do.
It would be nice if it just worked the way it is advertised to work.

IT seems to work now. I just had to let it think for half a day.

Google Maps API for flash not working on real device iPad

I use flash builder 4.5.1 to build app for Google Maps API for iOS (map_flex_1_20.swc), and it is working well even on the simulator on PC, but after I generate the IPA use FB4.5.1, and install on iPad , it not working at all, only show a while screen.(I used the TabbedViewNavigatorApplication, the botton Tabbar is working, I can switch the page, but on the maps page show nothing)
I also try the code on Flash CS5.5 using map_1_20.swc , when on the PC debug, it works well,(swf files), but install the AIR ipa on the iPAD, show nothing only a white sceeen.

You can also use the MapQuest Mobile Flash Maps API. It's supported by MapQuest and does not need any work-arounds in order to work with the Flash Platform. It also takes advantage of the "build once, deploy anywhere" functionality in Flex 4.5+. MapQuest provides a demo app for Android and iOS and has the source code available for download, too.

Google map in iPhone 5 NOT working

I've tried repeatedly and took my new iPhone 5 to ask Apple Store's Genius but I am getting no where. When I launch the new Google Map icon on my iPhone 5, it by default shows the mobile version and I clicked the "Directions" icon and input two addresses. I then click the arrow button which is supposed to start searching the distance between the two addresses and also directions of how to get from A to B. But no matter how many times I press the arrow button, nothing moves - same screen.
I then scrolled to the bottom and click "Classic", again nothing happens - same screen. I have to do it 10 to 20 times and by chance, I probably can access the Classic view once.
I then go to the iPhone internet browser and enter the google map address http://maps.google.com/#bmb=1 and again I was directed back to the mobile version and then I scrolled down and selected Classic and it was merry go round and I was going no where! The problem certainly does not lie in the Google webpage because when I access the same URL on a PC, I can search directions from A to B within less than a second. Everything is super smooth. I believe Apple has done something in their iPhone browser to make it difficult if not impossible to access Google maps in order to "force" users to use the Apple Map App.
Can anyone help?

Firefox is very slow opening. Web pages load slowly. When I go to images in a Google search, the pictures take a long time to load, and when I click on an image, then the back arrow, the loading time for the previous page is very slow. When I print a Google map, it is small, rather than full-page. In Google Chrome or Safari, the same actions product immediate results. I cannot get Google desktop to work.

This sounds like a network problem, since it goes away when you connect through a different network. You'll need to talk to your university's IT department about this.

Google maps directions (in browser) not working on Blackberry?

So I get a link from a friend and I'm trying open it up in the browser of my Blackberry, but I keep getting redirected to Google's main page.

How to reinstall Google Maps +Compass

I recently unlocked my iPhone 4 after officially receiving authorization and instructions from AT&T. The unlock worked fine, but .... Now my pre-installed Google Maps+compass ap is gone! I want to re-install it, but I can't find the ap on the iTunes store or elsewhere on the web??

I have a mac which plays the boot sound but the screen stays black. Recovery mode does not work, as the keyboard is wireless. What do I do?

I have an older mac and it worked perfectly until about an hour ago when I shut it down because we needed the room dark for a presentation and the screen saver was putting out light.
Now it won't turn back on. It plays the start up music but the screen stays blank.
The CMD+OPT+R for recovery mode doesn't do anything, the keyboard is wireless so the command doesn't get to the computer and that's the only keyboard I have since that's the one it came with.
I'm looking at making a USB recovery disk but it says that I should click on "Options" in the Disk Utility but there is no options button or menu to click.
From here: OS X: About Recovery Disk Assistant in step 3 I get stuck.
Also it says that if I make a drive on this computer which has an older OS it might not work on the broken machine with Mavericks.
This machine literally worked and I turned it off and now it does not work and there seems to be nothing I can do... ***...

Unfortunately on these days I'm in a country that Apple don't have any retail store here and for sake of time I prefer to fix it myself to DHL it to the nearest country to use its warranty. and it's still not working, except for modkey. when i was using wmii instead of wmii-hg, this file worked fine... sigh

F is the default shorcut for »Change Screen Mode« for me, so I’m not sure what you want with the qualifier keys.
Have you changed your Edit > Keyboard Shortcut?

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. Try more than once. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled

You can't. The built in Maps app does not store data locally on your phone. It requires a data connection to display location info.
