Google Maps going crazy and allignment problem

Help - I have got a site - www.elitepolefitness.co.uk which I have uploaded with Fetch (I have my own hosting) the embedded Google map is going crazy and the address is dark grey and left alligned instead of light grey and centered. When I upload the files to Fetch and preview site through there, its perfect. Please help!

Problem solved - I moved the files to different place - onto my Mac HD rather than my external HD. This is a massive pain though, I don't want to store all my websites on my Mac HD. Please try and fix this problem soon.
Could you advise on the next update/new features?

Your System Details are showing Fun Web Products. Suggest you look in Add-ons - Extensions and Plug-ins, and Control Panel>Add/Remove programs or >(newer version) Programs and Features. You could also do a search of your computer.
Fun Web Products(associated with MyWebSearch) always seems to cause problems, Alexa does, too, but less often - there may be conflicts.
I'm not an expert on these two products. I'm afraid I can only alert you to the problems. Google will show you plenty of evidence of problems. You might also try the Search Firefox Help box above - a gold mine but it usually requires a lot of digging.
You can start Firefox in Safe Mode - Hold Shift Key down as you double click on the Firefox icon>ignore the page that opens>Continue. If that improves things you could do a little troubleshooting(Safe Mode, Problematic extensions etc), use default theme, -

Interactive boxes (e.g. google maps text box) and drop-downs from those boxes go blank white.

So for certain websites//boxes when I open them they are just blank white, or toolbars on websites will also randomly go between visible and completely white randomly as I scroll. So for example the facebook toolbar randomly goes white, when I try to check my messages//notifications it goes white, the google maps text box and all the drop downs are completely white, etc.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
*Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You need close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

Is it my new V25 tools that is causing my google maps to freeze and not be interactive?

I have 19 articals in the folio builder all starting with content that includes a google map. Everthing was fine, testing well on the desktop and through the folio producer to the iPad. That all stopped with the v25 upload, the maps are there but rocksolid, no zoom no nothing. They all have a white stroke and white fill. The fill has gone.
This is not a new thing, I have an app on the appstore all up and working (New Zealand Journeys North Island) this one going bad is the south Island, Any thoughts?
Seeing the discussions on the animation and button problems has me clutching at straws that it is V25 and will be fixed and this nightmare will go away! Am I right?

Scroll bar goes crazy and active window jumps around in size - Help

I've got iTunes 7.0.5 installed. If I use iTunes for any length of time, my system goes crazy. The scroll bar on whatever program I make active goes up and down like mad, while the content of the active window shrinks and magnifies in size multiple times a second. It's very bizarre and consistently happens only when I run iTunes for some length of time. I have no problem if I choose Windows Media Player. It's very disturbing, as I can no longer use iTunes. Any help in knowing how to fix the problem, or even to trouble shoot it further, would be greatly appreciated.

Here are a couple of thoughts on the Timeline scrolling and other possible display issues:
1.) make sure that you have the very latest video driver - the very latest
2,) if you have Vista, turn Aero and Sidebar off
3.) if you have Window Blinds, get the very latest version
4.) if you have an InteliPoint mouse driver, try removing it, and using the standard Windows mouse driver instead*
5.) if you have a laptop and both the touch-pad and a mouse are installed and ON, turn the touch-pad OFF
These are some suggestions that might affect your display issues.

* The MS InteliPoint has caused many display issues with Adobe products. Most often, these have manifested themselves in flashing GUI's and similar, but other odd behaviors have been experienced. If the removal of InteliPoint does help, try the very latest version, but be ready to revert to the standard Windows mouse driver.

My typing cursor frequently goes crazy, not allowing me to type and jumping from place to place, deleting letters. Suddenly, a line I have typed will be highlighted and deleted at will. Also, mouse cursor moves at will, opening multiple pages in seconds. Help! What could be causing this, and how can I stop it?
I've had my Macbook pro for over a year and it has never done this before. Restarting the computer fixes the problem temporarily.

My first thought was the hard drive and OS has a built in Sudden Motion Sensor whcih will stop the hard drive heads from crashing into the platters when the computer is moved suddenly. This does work most of the time and could cause some of the tings you are seeing.
But then after reading more of your first post it seems your system and drive is doing some very strange things.
It would be best to first take it into an Apple Genius Bar and have it looked at. They can run tests on it and since it is still in the original 1 year warranty this should not cost you anything even if something needs to be replaced.
You can also run the Apple Hardware Test on it your self by connecting it to the Net by Ethernet cable and booting holding down the d key or the Command+d keys. That will boot the computer from the Apple internet servers and load the AHT.

Coming from a Blackberry I was real happy to get the 4S iphone and loved it then an upgrade to OS6 crashed all hope that this will work for me , maps are useless and fustrating, im in sales and sometimes my car does not have the most current updates so i count on the phone. also my gmail is slower. i want to go back to os5 even if i loose everthing and have to put it all back. Is Apple does not fix this soon and add back the old app for Google with out me jumping hoops, ps i never want to see Yahoo?????? again. then i will leave Apple at my first opportunity to go back to Blackberry. APPLE stop trying to fix what already works just allow your customer to choose which service they want, isnt that why you have apps to begin with choice.

I recently just downloaded the 'Waze' app as a backup for my Garmin. I've read a few reviews that seem to rant and rave about how good the GPS app is. It is community driven and maps are constantly being updated by users. Plus it has a few other fun stuff in it (something similar to Gasbuddy where you can owe prices on the map). But like the person above me said, there is lots of useful free GPS apps in the App Store.
Oh and I may be wrong but I remember reading an article about Google being slower about updating its maps system--ie no turn by turn voice, which many people have had complaints about.

hi there i am trying to add a custom map to my muse site kind of like these ones Cool Grey - Snazzy Maps - Free Styles for Google Maps where the google map is used just restyled. is this doable with muse i have not yet found a way has anyone else tried this? and had any luck?

How can we get back google maps as the default maps application.
Apple maps are just 5 years behind. Really awful and disappointing.

For now, it's easiest just to go to maps.google.com in Safari. It will automatically load the mobil version of thei site. Not the same as the old app, but at least you have access to the basic features.
You can even create an icon to add to your home screen.
I think Apple knows they've got a lot of work to do with Maps!

so that next time onwards if particular objects is locking we come to know why it happens is there any logical false or how do we eliminate this issue last time?

Upgraded to Maps 2.o and now problems

I used to be able to download the maps over WLAN for Bosnia and Herzegovina on my previous version of Nokia Maps, now I can only download the maps for the countries that have the Navigation feature... And I am stuck with minimal map information for Bosnia/Herzegovina. Any advice on how to either downgrade or maybe enable download of maps over phone...

I am facing similar problems on both my N82 and N95. Apparently other users are facing a problem too as per some posts below.Some guys seem to claim that they have found a workaround in the post titled "Drawing a Blank - no detail (N95)". I am going to try and see if my units work after employing their method and will inform you if successful.

When I type this example into the address bar (map key

I can't seem to get this back using cfhttp. When I use the
attached code, the filecontent variables comes up as, "Connection
Failure"...

Two other things of interest....
If you change the 'csv' in the URL to 'xml', the request
works fine.
Also, the 'csv' results that are returned from geo method
when the request is put in the address bar contains no html. It is
simply: 200,8,37.423021,-122.083739
Is there another way in ColdFusion to simply grab those four
values and return a simple list?

When I type there's a long delay before the letters show up on the screen. Also when I backspace it goes crazy and erases entire sentences

This began several days ago and seems to be a problem in Firefox. I did download an update recently but don't thjink the problem developped simultaneously. When I used the computer's feature of resetting the computer to a prior day (May 19, before the update) I could not get Firefox to open at all. So I undid the reset but typing in Firefox is very difficult due to the extremely long delay in the letters I'm typing showing up.

Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends this only if you are unable to restart it.
Or if this doesn't work and nobody else on the blog doesn't have a better idea you can contact Apple.
