Google maps Pan and zoom icon removal from a web page.

Hi,
I need to display a web page using mx:html tag  which has a google map in it. Is there a way to remove the pan and zoom icons from the webpage using  Flex. I tried to access the div elements of the map through Javascript methods in flex  . But I find that the divs have been disabled by some javascript function.
Thanks,
Hema

# In the Tools menu select Options to open the Options window
# Go to the Content panel, then click on the Advanced button to the right of "Enable JavaScript"
# Make sure the option "Disable or replace context menus" is selected

  • My Google Map was Changed by iWeb to The MobileMe web page!!!?????

I had a previously published site that included a Google map for directions. After editing a different page in my site and publishing, iWeb changed my google map to Apple's corporate address and the map was replaced by the mobileme web page. I have tried to overrite the page, deleted the page and constructed a new one but I can only get the mobileme webpage. It won';t accept my requested address...Any suggestions or anyone else having this problem?

It's done that to mine as well. That's not the only issue that has arisen since the transition to MobileMe. Based on what I'm reading here in the discussions, it looks like there aren't any solutions and most likely won't be until Apple releases either an iWeb update or does some serious work on the iWeb hosting feature of the MobileMe service. It's frustrating. I'm sure they're aware of the problem and are trying to solve it.

  • I'm composing an e-mail, and I copy/paste from a web page.

Let's suppose I copy / paste from a web document. For the sake of argument I'm using Mail.  A black box appears around the pasted part (with a "X" in the corner).
But, if I do a second paste, the new text is always inside the old box, therefore screwing up the indent.
I can't get the curser to start outside the box. How can I get rid of the box while composing?
Yes, the box disappears when I click outside it, but re-appears if I go for a new line below it.
Here's an example of how it looks.
    #1. The fox.
The quick brown fox jumped over the i-mac.
#2.  I'm frustrated that I can't paste or type where the first line started, indent wise.
Once the curser is after the word i-mac, and I try to move it down, the next line always goes to the indent of "The" and not #1.

I take you are trying to write an email within Safari, try this open Safari and click on the Safari menu and select reset Safari.

  • Copy and paste a Table from a web Page

I want to copy this Table at the link below into a Pages Document so I have these shortcuts/key combos nearby in case of disaster (For example, I did not know that you boot off a CD by holding the C key upon restart.
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=75459
How do I do this and retain the Table Format?
(New to the Mac and Pages)
    Thanks

That web page has several tables so you'll need to do this for each one. First, don't use Safari, use Firefox or Camino. Safari doesn't "see" the tabs in the tables. Select the text of the first table & copy. Now, go to your Pages document & create a 2-column table with a header row. Click in the first cell & paste. In previous versions of Pages you had to create the table with the exact number of columns or the pasted table filled rows across before pasting in the next row. I tried this without a header row & everything pasted in the first cell. Adding the header row, everything pasted nicely.

  • Pan and Zoom and Resolution Settings

Okay I am starting a new project and I want to use allot of the Ken Burns, or Pan and Zoom effect. From previous discussions I was advised to scale my photos 2000 x 1500. Given that at what "resolution" to you recommend for the project?

    AZ Aurora
If your goal is DVD-VIDEO Standard 4:3 on DVD disc and you have all photos (4320 x 3240 4:3 and 3456 x 2304 3:2), then you do not want any project preset settings described for 16:9.
There are a lot of ways to do this, but stay with NTSC DV Standard as your project preset under the conditions above.
    This is one way....
The sizing of your photos can cause problems depending on and in spite of your computer resources....especially if you have about 500 photos. Suggested batch resizing is to 1000 x 750 4:3 for landscape oriented photos. Higher than that, whatever you can get away with without jeopardizing the stability of the project for import, edit, and export.
Set the project preset manually for NTSC DV Standard
How to is at the end of the following
            http://www.atr935.blogspot.com/2013/04/pe11-accuracy-of-automatic-project.html
Go to Edit Menu/Preferences/General and remove the check mark next to Default Scale to Frame Size
Bring in your photos sized to 1000 x 750 4:3, 2000 x 750 4:3, or the original size 4320 x 3240 4:3 or 3456 x 2304 3:2) - whatever you can get away with. Recommended 1000 x 750 4:3. Remember, no matter how high the resolution of the import, it will be reduced to the sizing of the end product format.
When you drag each to the Timeline, they will appear zoomed in. Ignore that and apply Tools Menu/Pan and Zoom
When you click Done in the Pan and Zoom workspace and you are back in the Editor workspace, scale the Timeline's panned and zoomed image in the
             Edit area monitor as wanted.
Please try this on a mini test run to test the merits of this approach. We can discuss alternatives if necessary.
    Thanks.

  • Application builder  icon disappeared from database home page

i am wondering , is APPLICATION BUILDER ICON removed from database home page of all users or just mine. please i need help here..

Do you mean the icon display, or the ability to use the app identified by the icon?
(If just the display (it shows the empty box), there is a known problem with some images appearing broken. In which case, you can try forcing a reload form the server by adding a 'Shift' to your reload command (eg: use Shift-F5 in I.E. or Shift-Ctrl-R in Firefox)

  • Remove pan and zoom from clip in imovie6

Some of the clips in my movie do not respond to my attempt to change the photos settings and to remove pan and zoom. Having selected a clip, clicked on Media, then Photos and then on Show Photo Settings the screen goes black. When I click on Hide Photos Settings I can see my clip once again. While the screen is black I can see the photo settings. When I deselect the Ken Burns effect and select Apply I can once again see the selected clip. However, when I once again select Show Photo Settings I find that I am back to the black screen and the previous photo settings (Ken Burns is still selected) that I was trying to change. This is true for only a few clips; no problem with the others. How can I fix this?

    Hi Geoffrey,
You may have more luck searching and posting in the iMovie HD 6 forum - this is the forum for the Safari web browser.

Just bought Photoshop Elements 13...I'm trying to make a slideshow but can't figure out how to alter duration time that the slide is on the screen.  They presently move from one to another way too quickly...also need a different pan and zoom option.  Where are all the options I had in PS10?  Also...Can I burn this to a DVD?

The changes have brought improvements but also drawbacks compared with the old slideshow editor.
The templates are now fairly fixed but I find the “Classic Dark” gives reasonable results with some panning and you can click the audio button and browse you PC for any track. Unfortunately there are only three speed choices linked to the music track. The improvement for most people is that you can now export to your hard drive at 720p or 1080p and upload to sites like YouTube and Vimeo.

  • How do I use pan and zoom on vertical photographs without editing out most of the photo?

I am trying to make a slide show.  When I have a vertically oriented (portrait) photograph and try to use pan and zoom, the feature eliminates much of the photograph.  It seems the pan and zoom feature only works for horizontally oriented (or landscape) photographs.  Is there a way to use pan and zoom on vertically oriented photographs to capture all or most of the photograph and zoom in from there?

    gtavetian
I decided to use a different strategy to convey the principle. It is most likely that your photos will be 4:3 and you may or may not be taking them into a SD widescreen or HD widescreen project. With all those variables, to get the basic ideas across, I am going to use two models with a generalized scheme.
    For this post....
NTSC DV Standard Project - Portrait Oriented JPG, in this case 2448 x 3264 3:4. Could be any Portrait Oriented JPEG any pixel dimensions. But best plan ahead for what you have and what you would like.
Manually set the project preset to NTSC DV Standard.
File Menu/New/Project and, in the new project dialog, set for NTSC DV Standard.
Before exiting the final dialog in that area, put a check mark next to "Force Selected Project Setting on This Project". Close out of there.
Next go to the Edit Menu/Preferences/General and remove the check mark next to "Default Scale to Frame Size". Close out of the preferences.
In the opened Premiere Elements Expert workspace, use Add Media/Files and Folders/Project Assets to get your portrait oriented JPG to the beginning of the Timeline. The 2448 x 3264 3:4 will overwhelm the space in the Edit Mode monitor. That is to be expected. The Timeline Indicator is at the beginning of the Timeline @ 00;00;00;00.
    a. Click on the Timeline jpg to select it. With Motion Panel/Scale property (with Constrain Proportions with check mark), you want to scale the image so that the whole is shown within the mode space. You want to see the image's bounding box. See the next screenshot. The bounding box is the white outline around the image. It has handles.
After the scaling to get that look, the important information that you want is on the right in the Motion Panel
    Position values 360.0 and 240.0
    Scale value 14.6%.
The next phase is as before (See post 21 of this thread...but much of that is repeated below and modified for what is being described at this moment)
With Timeline Indicator at the beginning of Video Track 1 (00;00;00;00), go to Tools Menu/Pan and Zoom and click on it to open  the Pan and Zoom workspace.
In the Pan and Zoom workspace, you will see that the feature has created the initial two Focus Frames for you.
Do not do anything to Focus Frame 1 in the bin below the image window.
Click on Focus Frame 2 in the bin below the image window and set the Focus Frame as wanted.
Click on New Frame in the panel to the left of the image window  to create a third Focus Frame which will appear in the bin. Set Focus Frame as wanted.
Click on New Frame in the panel  to the left of the image window to create a fourth Focus Frame which will appear in the bin. Set the Focus Frame as wanted.
Click Done to the Pan and Zoom workspace so that you are back in the Premiere Elements Expert workspace with its Timeline.
    In the Expert workspace,
Move the Timeline Indicator to the last frame of the selected pan and zoom clip 1. In Applied Effects Tab/Applied Effects Palette/Motion Panel expanded, (Toggle Animation should be active at this point), make sure Position settings are 360.0 and 240.0 and Scale = 14.6% (with Constrain Proportions used). Then go to Tools Menu/Freeze Frame and set the freeze frame for 3 seconds and hit Insert in Movie.
Then move the Timeline Indicator to the first frame of the selected pan and zoom clip 1. In Applied Effects Tab/Applied Effects Palette/Motion Panel expanded (Toggle Animation should be active at this point), make sure Position settings are 360.0 and 240.0 and Scale = 14.6% (with Constrain Proportions used). Then go to Tools Menu/Freeze Frame and set the freeze frame for 3 seconds and hit Insert in Movie.
    Render.
The Timeline content sequence from start to finish should be:
Freeze Frame 3 seconds First Frame of pan and zoom clip 1
    Pan and zoom clip 1
Freeze Frame 3 seconds Last Frame of pan and zoom clip 1
Freeze Frame 3 seconds First Frame of pan and zoom clip 2
    Pan and zoom clip 2
Freeze Frame 3 seconds Last Frame of pan and zoom clip 2
A Dissolve/Cross Dissolve Video Transition (1.00 seconds) is placed between end of Freeze Frame  Last Frame of pan and zoom clip 1 and beginning of Freeze Frame 3 First Frame of pan and zoom clip 2.
Additional pan and zoom portrait oriented jpgs to the Timeline would be treated as above.
What was done above can be applied to any photo with any project preset. The basic idea is to
    a. Start with determing the whole picture Position and Scale values as described with the Default Scale to Frame Size option disabled.
    b. Do pan and zoom with Pan and Zoom Tool in its workspace
    c. Return to Premiere Elements workspace to apply your Position and Scale values to the last frame of pan and zoom clip so that the last frame presents in full clip view. Then go to the first frame of the pan and zoom clip, and apply the Position and Scale values to it so that the first frame presents in full clip view.
    d. If you want the whole view to present for more than that one frame, do the freeze frame at each end, with the wanted duration.
    e. Apply emblessments as wanted, such as video transitions, an animated graphic flying through the last scene, etc.
We could take this same clip into a NTSC AVCHD Full HD 1080p30 project and do the same, except the Position and Scale values and the Scale % determined at the beginning and used subsequently will be different than in the NTSC DV Standard project.
Please check out the above and see how you do with it. If problems, please indicate where and we will work through them.
    Thanks.

I would be glad for the opportunity to customize a Premiere Elements 12 answer to your Premiere Elements 12 issue.
But, I want to make sure that we are together on the details. This is my understanding of what you have written. Please review and let me
know if I am misinterpreting anything that you have written.
You have a video created in Windows Movie Maker.
How did you output the video from Windows Movie Maker...wmv or mp4, what was the frame size and frame rate of that export?
Next you import that video into Premiere Elements 12 (can we assume that this is on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit?)
From what you wrote, you have applied a pan and zoom effect to your video in Premiere Elements.
Now you go to export the Premiere Elements 12 Timeline content with your video with the pan and zoom applied.
But, the pan and zoom effect is not seen in playback of the export.
Is all of the above correct so far?
If so....we are going to need some more details from you...
    a. What is the project preset that you or the project are setting to match the properties of the video coming from Movie maker? See Edit Menu/Project Settings/General and the readings for Editing Mode, Timebase, Frame Rate, and Pixel Aspect Ratio even if the fields look grayed out.
    b. Are you applying the pan and zoom effect with the Pan and Zoom Tool, fx Effects Presets, or keyframing the Scale (for Zoom) and
Position (for Pan) in the Motion Panel expanded?
    c. What are you selecting as your export in Publish+Share/. Please give details...are you using default settings or customizing the export
setting under the Advanced Button/Video Tab and Audio Tab of the preset selected?
I am suspecting some sort of mismatch of your project settings or some problems with working with the Pan and Zoom tool. I need
your answers to help me help you. If I have written anything that you do not understand, please let me know. I will re-write if necessary
so that we are in sync to resolve the issue.
    Thanks.

  • Pan and Zoom won't stop!

    Hi guys,
I used a pan and zoom effect on one section of my video,
And now for some reason it's just slowly zooming in as the video goes on, and I can't seem to remove the effect at all.
    Please help!
    - Matt

    Matt
What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?
How did you apply the pan and zoom effect to your video? Please confirm that we are discussing pan and zoom effect applied to a video file and not a still.
    a. Pan and Zoom Tool
    b. Effects/Preset and one of the horizontal or vertical pan or zoom.
    c. Keyframing the Scale property (for Zoom) and Position property (for Pan)?
With regard to "c"...if your clip is selected and you are in Properties Palette/Motion Panel expanded (Premiere Elements 10 and earlier) or Applied Effects Tab/Applied Effects Palette/Motion Panel expanded (Premiere Elements 11, 12, 13), is the Toggle Animation tab highlighted? Depending on your details, we could click on that and confirm that you want to remove keyframe(s) from the clip.
View from Premiere Elements 13 Applied Effects Tab/Applied Effects Palette/Motion Panel expanded....showing Toggle animation is the selected state.
We will be watching for your details to help us help you.
    Thank you.

  • Pan and Zoom Extending Photo Duration in Premiere Elements 11

I am new to using PE11, but have been using older versions of PE for many years. In years past, after setting up my photos with voiceover and getting the transitions in, I have used keyframes to create pan and zoom effects. In 11 though, this function no longer appears to work so I am trying to use the Pan and Zoom tool. While easy to use, it is messing with the length of my photos. I already have the photos timed just right with my voiceover, so I need the length of time they are shown to stay the same. I can't figure out how to do this in the pan and zoom tool and everything I find online with this issue is with older versions of PE so the advice given isn't helping. If I'm able to use keyframes, that would be great too - but I'm not seeing how to add them under the Applied Effects tool.
If anyone is able to help me, I would GREATLY appreciate it. I'm on a very tight deadline for work and was not expecting PE11 to be so different from previous versions!

With Premiere Elements 11 and 12, the photo that is panned and zoomed with its Pan and Zoom Tool is characterized by increased duration. It is what it is.
If you want to pan and zoom a photo using keyframing of the Motion properties of Scale (for Zoom) and Position (for Pan), then you would need to use Applied Effects Tab/Applied Effects Palette/ Motion Panel expanded and its Scale and Position properties there in association with Toggle Animation icon.
The shorter version of the Motion Panel Expanded looks like
To get the view where you can see the keyframes, click on the stop watch icon to the far right of the line with title Applied Effects.
    Then you will see
Are you now on more familiar ground to move forward with your keyframing of the Scale and Postion properties for your
    photo pans and zooms?
Please review and let me know if you are OK with the details.
Also, my blog post on Pan and Zoom Tool might be of interest.

  • Is there a way to create a pan and zoom effect in a lightroom slideshow?

Is there a way to create a pan and zoom effect in a lightroom slideshow?

Nope. Be a great feature. For that I use FotoMagico after exporting JPEG's from LR.

  • How to set the duration of each pic in a slideshow (and also how to pan and zoom)

I have about 30 pictures I would like to add to a slide show.
When I add them the duration for each picture is set to 6 seconds.
I would like this changed to 4 seconds.
But manually changing the duration of each individual picture, one by one, is a slow and tedious task.
Is there a way of changing the duration of all my pictures at the same time, from 6 seconds to 4 seconds ?
Or can I change a setting so that when I insert my pictures the duration is set to 4 seconds instead of 6 seconds ?
As for the pan and zoom, I have seen the pan and zoom effect but this has a black border around the pictures as they zoom in and out.
For example, when zooming in the picture starts small with a black border all round the edge.
When zooming out the picture ends small with a black border all round the edge.
Is there a way to pan and zoom starting with a full screen when zooming in, and ending with a full screen when zooming out ?
Thereby not showing any ugly black borders.
My Nokia N73 phone can do it !
You can view the pictures as a slide show and when it pans and zooms it looks so much better because it does not show any black borders.
The picture ALWAYS fills the screen even though it is panning and zooming.

If you go to Edit/Preferences, you can set the default duration for each slide. This will affect only those photos you've imported into your project AFTER changing this preference.
You should also turn off the preference for Scale to Frame Size, so your photos do not fill the screen. (And, for efficiency's sake, make sure your source photos are no larger than 1000x750 pixels, per the FAQs at the top of this forum.)
You can also set the duration of each slide by selecting all of the stills you want to include on in your slideshow, right-clicking and selecting the Create Slideshow option.
