Google Play on Tablet works on WIFI not Verizon network.

I have an Motorola Ellipsis Tablet. I am unable to use Google Player. When I open the app, I get "Background data disable. Google play store needs background data to be enabled." I hit enable and It asks me to choose either Facebook or Gmail. I choose my email account and it tries to sync and I get the message "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly." Everything works fine when I am on WIFI at home but when I get to work and I'm on the Verizon network it won't work. I can't use Pandora or look at video. Can someone help me figure out why it is not working on the Verizon network? Thanks.

Oh my! Let's get you back to enjoying your device. Some applications depend upon background data (transferring data when not directly in use). Restricting background data may cause those apps to stop functioning unless a Wi-Fi connection is available. To uncheck Restrict background data in the Google Play application, follow the directions in the link http://vz.to/1f5KM7b .

Probably either never, or not for a very long time. Firefox for mobile requires an ARMv7 processor, your phone has a v6. While the development team is considering supporting ARMv6, it is in the beginning stages, and may not happen, or at least not for a long time.

Will the new T-Mobile Iphone 5 also work on the Att & Verizon networks?

I am a long time T-Mobile user and strongly considering purchasing the new TMO Iphone 5. What I would like to know is will the TMO phone work on ATT and/or Verizon network if at some point I would ever want to switch.

THe TMobile phone is unlocked. You make a down payment and then pay the rest of the full price of the phone over 20 months. There is no contract so you can leave the network any time, but then you would have to finish paying for the iPhone immediately. It will work with the ATT network but not with Verizon, as it is a GSM phone.

Home Sharing - works in WiFi, not Ethernet: Help!

Hi all -
I've had an Apple TV happily working with Home Sharing from a Mac Mini when both were on the WiFi network from my Time Capsule router.
However, I've just installed Ethernet cabling at home so all three are now connected on a wired network, and Home Sharing is no longer working on the Apple TV.
The Apple TV simply says that it can't find the Mac, and to check that it is on the same network. However, there's only one wired network / LAN in the building - just two CAT5 cables running to the Time Capsule, which is then getting the Internet from a cable modem.
Any idea how I can resolve this?

I'm confused why you're trying 3 different accounts. Try it using the same single account and two different PCs. Does that work? Can you download and play a free song of the week using one of those itunes store accounts?
Going forward, I hope you decide to only use one account. They can never be combined later. You'll have to forever remember the login credentials of each itunes store account if you move stuff to a new PC.
I tried 3 accounts, because none of them work for Apple TV. Yet, all three of them DO access the Apple store and forums and music and everything on this website.
Did I say anything about combining these accounts? Not even remotely helpful.

I am absolutely serious: Apple is the most difficult, ridiculous, illogical interface I have EVER seen in 18 years of computing and using the internet. I use both MACs and PCs daily, so I can easily compare the experiences on many levels.
I know what I am doing on a PC and I rarely make common errors. I know my Apple ID and pass by heart(all three of them). I know my PC and network name by heart. My network and PC have the passwords blank.
So,...I should be able to have my Apple TV work, by simply activating Home Sharing on this network(done that successfully) and then activating it on my Apple TV(doesn't work).
I have tried activating Apple TV network first and tried activating Home Sharing first, but neither one works. When I plug in the Apple TV, the blue light flashes and then stays on.

Viber only working with wifi, not with 3g

Hi,
Can anyone explain why viber works on my iphone nomatter if im in a wifi hotspot or in the middle of no where, yet my wife has to be in a wifi hotspot for it to work on her iphone? we both have 3gs iphones, both running os4.3.
Could it be as simple as a setting?

Hi, i have an ipnone 4 and im with Optus 3G. Viber is only working for me (send texts and make calls) ONLY when im on wi-fi. If im not connected to a wifi connection it will not send any texts or make a call. If i try send a text it turns into a red dot with an exclamation mark near my comment and then it comes up with a message saying "An internet connection is required to set up Viber. Check your connection and try again. The request timed out."

Why is my microphone not working and wifi not being able to search for connections.

somebody please help. why is my microphone not working? i have replaced the charging port connector, and people cant hear me still. and my wifi ,even though its on, it still unable to search for conections even after i have repladed the wifi antenna. what can this be or what parts must i change out inorder to work.

Now, when I synch my iPHone to iTunes, the music section does not allow me to download certain songs / artists / albums / playlists DIRECTLY to my iPHone. I would prefer to have the music resident on the phone vs relying on wifi or my cellular coverage.

Right. That's you signed up for iTunes Match.
I would prefer to have the music resident on the phone vs relying on wifi or my cellular coverage.
You can do either or both.
Download the songs to the iPhone when on wifi (to avoid using all your cell data) adn they will be resident ont he phone.
Or simply stream them when you want and not download them.
You can create playlists in iTunes on your computer. These will get transferred to the iPhone via iTunes Match.
Then select these playlists on the iPhone to download them to the iPhone.

Google play store is not working

I bought Nokia X before 1 month. Whenever i am downloading any app from 1mobile store its showing google play has stoped working...
And also i thnk after 5 min mobile shows a pop up message "google play store has stopped working"
please help me out i m unable to download any app and also watsapp is not working...

1mobilestore does not require the phone to be certified by Google so you can access and download files there.
It would appear WhatsApp decided not to support the Nokia X phones for some reason, if you need more information I suggest contacting them HERE.

Absence of Google Play on new S2005 A-H

(Since the S2005 tablet is relatively new I doubt there will be any support for this. Maybe when the tablet gets released into the Western markets I might get something. Oh well.)

I recently took a trip to China, and ended up with the very new S2005 android tablet as a gift from a family relative. However, I noticed that it still incorporates the Lenovo Store service instead of the official Google Play app. On support section of Google Play, when an Android device does not come with a Google Play, it is not officially supported. However, I can confirm that the S2005 is supported as it is on the list of supported devices.
I cannot use the Lenovo store as it is in China, which I can only barely read sadly. I have read that the Lenovo Store was officially discontinued in September, however this is obviously not the case for the Chinese models.
Is there any way I can get the Google Play app on this tablet? I have tried installing it via an APK file but it crashes on startup.
The device is using Android 4.

In Safari, Google Play silent / no sound.

I'm not a fan of Chrome but I'm using Google Play to put my music in the cloud. But for some reason when I log onto Google Play using Safari, it wont play any sound when I try and play music?
I re-downloaded Google Chrome browser and the music plays fine form that browser - just not from Safari. Is this Apple trying to handicap the Google Play service in Safari? Surely not...weird! Anyway I'm having to use Chrome now to play the music but dont see why it wouldn;t work through Safari...

I had the same problem and then found the following suggestion, which worked for me. (I’m using Safari V 7.0 on OS X Mavericks V 10.9)
Safari >> Preferences >> Advanced and then uncheck 'Stop plug-ins to save power'.
Quit and then restart Safari.

Google Play and Google Services errors on Moto E

Hello, I have a Moto E phone which has recently stopped working properly. I keep getting error popups saying 'Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped' , 'Google services has stopped working', 'Google play has stopped working' and 'google apps has stopped working'. I have also been receiving multiple copies of text messages which were sent to me yesterday, the battery is draining quickly and overheating, I can't send anything by bluetooth and I can't access games. Pages also close on me after the popups appear. I have tried different 'fixes' that are mentioned online - I have tried clearing the caches of all the apps, running the phone in safe mode, uninstalling google play services (it wouldn't let me as it is an 'administrator', which it won't let me change), resetting all app preferences, disabling and re-enabling different apps and turning off/on wi-fi. I have also seen the fix saying that I should turn on 'wake up' or something in the privacy settings, but I don't have it. So basically, does anyone out there have any ideas on how I can fix this? I don't want to factory reset if I can help it as I can't back them up, send them to other people or upload them to the computer (I have spent the last few hours trying). This phone is only a month old, and I have absolutely no idea what has caused this trouble. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you =)

It is likely that one particular app is causing the problem. Try deleting and re-installing any app that triggers the error message when you are using it.

Siri doesn't work on 3G,just work on Wifi

Last week i just got my iphone 4s unlocked one, I purchased one small carieer,and at first everything is ok.Siri can work on both 3G and wifi.But now,Siri can only work on WIFI, not on3G. Someone can help me?

this may be caused by the network and it may not be strong see if somewhere else will work other wise its the network or the iphone

A2105, google play not work

Recently I purchased A2105 from china, I have try install google play in several version. No abnormality during installing until finish, but when execute google play app it was not work... after execute the google play its look like work just for a second than the program closed by it self.... Yoga Tablet 2 Lollipop Update - Google Play Services does not update - installation error

Lenovo is investigating customer reports that after upgrading Yoga Tablet 2 8 830 or 10 1050 to Android 5.0.1 Lollipop, Google Play Services does not update as expected, and shows an installation error.

To lenovo. The reason I bought this tab is that I believe it has good quality and its performance is excellent especially from lenovo. But if lenovo reasons out that they cannot override the code that is in apk itself from Google playstore. Can u provide a link or procedure how to go back from lollipop to KitKat until it is resolved? Because we cannot do the things we should do especially work related if we can't download or update any apps tnx.
