Google play says firefox is installed, but canot find it on my tablet. message says will download shortley after I hit download, but it never did.
I went to google play and downloaded firefox for android, I then got a message that it would download shortly, but i never see it. the tab does not list it as an app on my tablet. When I go back to re download it says "installed"
the problem ended up being that I had googlestore app disabled, which kept all google store apps not download, but thanks... now if I can figure out how to bookmark on this tablet, and can u have the bookmark toolbar on this android version of firefox?

Why my apps are not transferring from PC to iPhone 5? When I connected to PC the icon shows when I select apps it show 'will install' but it never show on iPhone, I re installed iTunes, deleted all apps and downloaded again but its not working pls help.
Next time an app update gets stuck try a reset. Press and hold both the home and power buttons for10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Then release both buttons. Wait till your iPad starts on it's own. Try now. Also YouTube is still available. If you can't find it the the app store go to the bottom of the app store page and tap purchased. All your deleted apps will be listed and you can reinstall YouTube from there.

Try resetting ...
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.
You won't lose any data as a result of a reset. -

Other details? Umm, I'm using a Mac. Never had problems before version 4.0. It happens on Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, GomTV, among other video sites. I loaded the same videos in Safari and they play fine.

Flash Player says it is downloaded and installed, but is never there.
I have tried to download at least 7 times on my Windows computer. I have turned off my virus control. I have reset my system. I have downloaded from Adobe and by clicking on other websites. Active-scripting is enabled. Each time it goes through the entire process of initializing, downloading, and installing ... then it is not there and when I check it by trying to use a website that requires it, it tells me I need to download it. It always says that the download is successful. I used to have Flash Player on my computer and don't know how it was removed, but I would really like to get it back!

Usually when you uninstall/reinstall you are given the option to retain all your settings including add-ons. If you can't get started, though, I really can't help any further.
As a long shot you could try opening Firefox from your Start Menu or Programs folder. If that works, you should create a new Firefox icon. Drag your Firefox from the Start Menu to the Desktop(it doesn't actually move) and it will offer you the option of creating a desktop icon.
As a very long shot you could check the Properties of the Desktop icon and see if anything is out of place.
When you say it doesn't show up on the screen do you mean it doesn't open at all or it opens to a blank screen? Try pressing F11 if you get a blank screen - you could be in full screen mode. -
Firefox is installed, but not working
from past 6 months am suing Firefox. yesterday morning, when i tried to open, it was not working. i clicked on Firefox logo, but there was no response or any error messages. i reinstalled it. but still not working.
It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Says installed but I never bought it
So today I went to go and buy angry birds because I have it on my android phone and I came across a problem. It says that it is already installed on my computer yet I haven't purchased it and it definitely isn't installed. Any ideas on how to fix this?
For apps that the App Store says are already installed, temporarily renaming the older version of the app worked. That won't help those trying to get an update for a new app they recently downloaded.
The response from the support team was disappointing. They didn't even address my issue. I replied back so we'll see what they say. Searching for an app name that is common over several versions to determine if it has been installed is a mistake even a rookie admin wouldn't make. I really hope Apple is reading this forum and is paying attention to the issues. While there is bound to be a learning curve among their users, attention needs to be paid to the common threads indicating developer error. -

It works much better, I don't like changing programs, what good is and workst must stayGo to View (or just right-click on any empty space of Firefox's panels - for example, near the tabs) and turn off the Main Menu Panel. You'll see what you're looking for.

Reluctantly tried Firefox Refresh. Step #3 says "3.Firefox will close to refresh itself. When finished, a window will list your imported information. Click Finish and Firefox will open."
I never got that window. Firefox re-opened after about 20 minutes with a blank screen. I waited some more, but nothing. At first it didn't seem to be responding to mouse clicks or keyboard entry, but after a couple more minutes, I was able to click on the menus or Firefox button and get a response.
When I look under Firefox profiles (folder), I see my original profile folder with a dash after default and then a number added at the end (xxxxx.default-zzzzz). It is still my only profile folder. I thought Refresh was supposed to create a new profile folder.

This may be caused by the large amount of visited sites and as a result this can slow down Firefox
Can you please try to clean your browsing history and cookies by doing the following:
1. Click the menu button, choose "History", and then "Clear Recent History"
2. Select how much history you want to clear ( Everything is recommended)
3. Finally, click the "Clear Now" button.
If none of the above work then I would suggest to reinstall Firefox and see if that solves the issue.
