Google requires their cookies only for use of LRB blog

London Review of books(LRB) blogs won't accept my user name or pass number set they sent me a few weeks ago. When I click cookies, I receive a list of google means of use and storage. I use Google for Internet through Diigo.com--nothing more. I don't need a separate gmail address. I don't need or want the others. How do I get through to LRB blogs to give my comments without these cookies??? Thanks.

I've exported a TXT document and it included everything. Additionally, it kept the formatting, so I have to go into a text editor and remove all the spaces. Otherwise my dialog is a mess in the prompter.
Any thoughts on how to get this working?

If you want to export just the dialogs from the story, you can try out Breakdown Reports (Authoring view : Production - > Breakdown Reports). You can try "Character..." or "Custom Report..." to see if it serves your purpose. It will generate csv file for you.

How would I load a DE/WM (Openbox?) only for use in VNC?

How can I make a segregated virtual display that can only be viewed through a VNC connection?
I have a computer that I'm using as a server (Files, Downloads, IRC bouncer), and soon as an XBMC front end for the living room computer to replace the original XBox.
With the TV it will be attached to: I want to be able to watch videos, play music, look at pictures, and possibly run an emulator or two, and that's it. No access to virtual terminals, no other programs at all. I can figure this out on my own, I found a few guides, though if you have a particularly good resource, I'd love to see it.
Here's what I do want suggestions on:
I also want it to start, say, Openbox, with just a file manager, JDownloader, and maybe a VERY light IM client for sending links to the server. (Taking suggestions, I use IRC, Google Talk, and XFire already, but on my laptop and my phone I use multiprotocol clients.)
I want the IM client and JDownloader to always be running, and I want to only be able to access them (and my entire Openbox session) through VNC. I will be using VNC clients on either a 15' or 22' monitor from Windows 7, Linux (Arch and Ubuntu) and OS X Snow Leopard, as well as from an iPhone.
I would love for the VNC session to, like Virtual Box, automatically resize itself according to window size (or the iPhone's resolution) but I'd have no problems with a single resolution.
I searched, but I suspect I'm using the wrong keywords, I've seen something about this before... I'll be doing this in about two days, but I figured I'd ask for help now rather than later.

Set up an appropriate ~/.vnc/xstartup file - syntax is the same ~/.xinitrc, but it's for the vnc session only.

Bluetooth Microphone Only, for use with wired headphones - possible?

Is there such a device as a bluetooth microphone, and could i connect it to the iphone for voice, with the audio being routed through my wired headphones?
I would like to continue using my audiophile headphones, but want to avoid a wired iphone mic adaptor, as the extra cabling would be annoying to say the least.

I had an iphone 1G adapter for audio that when connected it only served audio to the headphones and the inside iphone microphone was still working and receiving my voice without the need for an externatl microphone.
The adapter broke so I bought a new one and I updated to firmware 2.0 (from 1.1.4) the same time. The new adapter did not do the same thing, but I cannot decide if this is because of the firmware upgrade or the different new adapter.

You do realize that the SIM only contains account information for your wireless account.
Moving the SIM from phone to phone does not cause any of your iTunes content, contacts, email, etc to magically appear on the device.

HT2518 which program can I use to open a Word file that is formatted for use ONLY on a PC?

I hve a word doc that is formatted only for use on a PC. I cannot change the file at the request of the sender. Is there a way to open and fill out the word document on a mac. I used to have Parrelles which allowed me to do so but no longer have this program. Specifically the word document has pre-programmed drop downs in the form. They do not function, nor allow me to type a word into the field.

There is no such thing as a Word file formatted only for a PC.
You need a copy of Word to open it (Word for Mac), it may also work with Open Office and Libre Office, these are free to download.

PO Release Strategy - Only for non material based

Experts,
I have a requirement to implement a release strategy for a single plant for POs for NON material based purchases ( only for using account assignments, cost centers etc).
The release strategy I configured is working only for the specific plant I want... However, it works whether its a material based PO or a non material based PO.
How do i get the strategy to work for only the service based purchases, and not the material ones?

I did create a characterstic for item categories and added the one's I wanted to have... I did NOT include a blank because i thought that would make the difference between the material based PO and non PO. When we I create Po with material (even with no account assignment) it still goes through release.
Any reason why that is?
I dont believe the material group solution will not work either because we require material group for material and non material based POs..
Side note - when i try to use CEKKO with KTTNP, i get a "KTTNP does not exist error." So i used EKPO - KTTNP... hopefully thats ok, but please let me know if its not.

The built-in Firefox Sync service allows you to store your settings, including bookmarks, on a Mozilla server. This isn't accessible as a file like Google Drive; it can only be used by connecting another copy of Firefox to your Sync account. The cross-browser Xmarks service is more focused: it just does bookmarks. http://www.xmarks.com/ (I've never tried this one either)
If you prefer working with files and you have a Dropbox or similar account, you could in theory back up your Firefox profile folder, or more particularly, the bookmarkbackups subfolder. I haven't tried that myself. To find the folder:

U.S. wireless carriers often "lock" smartphones to their networks as a way to encourage consumers to renew their mobile contracts. Consumers often get new devices at a heavily subsidized price in return for committing to longer contracts.
The top carriers have long allowed consumers to unlock devices and take them to another network at the end of a contract term - commonly, two years - though the process varies by company and can be quite painstaking.
Then in late 2012, the Library of Congress, the minder of U.S. copyright law, completed a new triannual review of exemptions to the law that effectively made phone unlocking illegal, even after the consumer completed the contract.

I have been a Verizon customer for a decade (10 years). Verizon is now misleading me about having my iPhone 4s unlocked. After a long discussion they finally unlocked my families phones leading me to believe it was nationally. I just found out that they are REFUSING to unlock my phones in an effort to keep me with Verizon and very large monthly payment plan. If my phones were unlocked, I might stay with Verizon, however, in light of their deliberate attempt to lie to me and keep me hostage, I will most like buy new phones and move away from Verizon within the week.
Can anyone tell me if they have had success in having Verizon unlock their iPhone 4s?

I believe that the carriers have 3 months to partially implement this "pledge" and 12 months for it to be fully implemented.
I have not heard of anyone getting a Verizon iPhone 4s unlocked yet for use in the US.

Should ESW&UCSS be bought for "installed" or for "used" licenses?

we have a new installation (not an upgrade) of CUCM 9.1. For example, we have 100 UCL Enchansed users and 100 CUWL Standard users. Last year we bought 100 ESW&UCSS for UCL Enchansed users and 100 ESW&UCSS for CUWL Standard users.
Now we would like to renew service contract, but the total amount of licenses in use has been reduced by a half. Now we use only 50 licenses of 100 available for both types of users.
Should we buy 100 ESW&UCSS for "installed"(available) licenses or 50 only for "used" licences?
Does the type of user matter?

No you can't use an iWeb blog directly in a wix created website. Does Wix not have a blog feature? As you create the site directly at Wix, I would have thought they would have a blog feature. Wix is designed that you create and publish your site directly on their website and on their own servers, then using your own custom domain name if you wish to so there is no room for anything else.
If you want a blog, then the only thing that you can do is to publish the iWeb blog that you have created and then create an external link to that blog from your Wix site. If you don't have the iWeb blog, then I would really advise you not to use iWeb. It is not the best blogging system around. You will always have to create an external link to your blog from Wix, so I would suggest that you create your blog by using either the free WordPress.com or the Google blogger.
You can't use an iWeb blog in the way that you want and if you created your site at Wix, they should have a way of adding a blog directly to the site - they are creating new things all the time, so wait and see.

In practicality you can't. You can set the preference in the Privacy pane of the Safari preferences to ask websites not to track you, but I don't believe Google honors that setting, and they most certainly store all sorts of cookies which you probably will get even if you set Safari to block all cookies since web programmers have ways around those blocks. All you can do is delete the cookies and other junk on a regular basis. Many cookies hide, so I use Cookie from SweetP productions which does a good job of deleting most if not all of the cruft web sites leave.

How to enable Client Cert Required, only for certain URL's in the webserver

WE are using netegrity siteminder for authentication and their plugin is executed as AuthTrans function. If I enable clientauth in server.xml ( which is basically turning on the client cert required for entire site), everything works fine. But If I want to turn that on only for certain URL's how do I do that.
I tried turning global clientauth off in server.xml and tried using PathCehck fn"get-client-cert" in obj.conf for the URL's that need client cert, but the problem is AuthTrans is getting executed first and my netegrity plugin is throwing an error saying it cann't find the cert.
What are diffrent options to enable cert required only for certian URL's.

You can use get-client-cert in If tags in Web Server 7.0 :

There probably is, but it requires that you be able to use punctuation and write in sentences so that we can understand exactly what you want.
You can block others from using your Apple ID by changing your password. There is no way to erase what was already downloaded on to someone else's device, for obvious reasons,
