Google search cant find mywebsite

I have created a website using iweb and published it with MobileMe.In adition I have linked MobileMe to a new domain name for example E.g Joebloggs.co.uk. (obviously not the real name). However when I search google I do not get the website appearing but if I type in Joebloggs.co.uk into the address bar it find it OK.
I want to use google to search for the website rather than have to give everyone the name.I have been told that I should look ar SEO and get metadata on my webite?????????????

this is why iWeb and MobileMe are not meant for commercial enterprises.. search engine optimization is a huge and complex undertaking, as complex, if not more, than creating the site in the first place.

Outlook's instant search cant find contacts stored in iCloud

I use Outllook 2007 and their instant search feature wont find contacts stored in iCloud. Instant search works well with all other data files except for iCloud's. Can anyone please help me find a way to find contacts stored in iCloud using Outlook's instant search?

Getting Google searches to find my site

I published my Muse site to Business Catalyst nearly a month ago and it's still not coming up on Google if I search using obvious keywords. The site is actyourself.co.uk I've done the Google Webmaster things and I've incorporated keywords in metadata and also ensured that I've got h1 infor etc - in other words, I followed the instructions in the Adobe Muse tutorial on Search Engine Optmisation. But still if I type in the obvious keywords my site doesn't appear at all. Is there something that I'm doing wrong? Or is it just that Google takes a long time for its Webmaster info to take effect?

Solved-Only lets you type in one letter in Google search...

This is to help rather than ask a question....
So I opened a new Google search and went straight to google settings (little cog top right in the Google window), then to Search Settings and changed the setting for predictive search (it doesn't seem to matter to what, as long as you change it), then scroll down and save your setting.
Once you've changed the setting and saved it you can change it back to your preferred setting, and save again of course.

I Had the same 2 problems. I also was getting rather annoyed by them. This is what I did...
Problem 1 - keyboard disappears
Open up a Google search page
Find the Settings cog wheel in the top right corner
Tap the wheel
Select Search Settings and select 'NEVER SHOW INSTANT RESULTS'.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap 'Save'.
Problem 2 - Google App banner will not go away
When the banner is visible, tap to the left of the blue Google logo button.
There should be an 'X'. Click on it.

Hello i have a AriesATX-21-m06 graphics card and i put it into my desktop and it still saying im using my default graphics card thats built in or something.
i tried to look for aries ATX drivers and there is nothing on google i cant find 1 thing on this driver it just shows up

Well, you need to go to Google and let them know that you site exists. If they don't know about you, then they can't find you.

If Join was on then your home wi-fi must be set to Non-Broadcast. If you did not set this up (maybe your provider did) then you will need to find the Network Name they used, and any password they used. The SSID is Security Set ID and to see more try http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SSID . Basically it is the name used to identify your router/network. A lot of times the installer will leave it set as LinkSys, or Broadcom or whatever the manufacturer set it as for default. Your best bet is to get whoever installed it to walk you through how they set it up, giving you id's and passwords so you can get in. HOWEVER, if you are not comfortable with this (if you set security wrong, etc.) you would be well ahead of the game to hire a local computer tech (networking) to get this working for you. You can also contact the vendor of your router and get help (if it is still in warranty), or at least get copies of the manuals as pdf files. Sorry I can't give you more help, I hope this gives you an idea where to go from here to find more.

Firefox, google chrome, IE8 lose the ability to search and find text on certain archived books. IE7 can search and find. Is there a way to fix this?

Firefox, google chrome, and IE8 all have the same error. The search and find functions for certain on-line archive books does not work on these browsers. They claim that text does not exist. In IE7 the text is found. I can be typing in a word I see on the page and all three still bottom out with this error. The address field also acts as the search bar.

I cant use the "google search" button but no proble, with internet explorer. The" feeling lucky" works.

The google search tab on the top right corner of firefox browser works fine. But the main google search button on the google site doesnt work. When click on search, the Google search result didn't update (the google search page didn't change). BUT the url bar on top did have the Google URL updated with the new search term.

So the URL is changed when I click the Google SEARCH button on the page. Just the page not changed nor updated.

First, empty the Trash if you haven't already done so. Then reboot. That will temporarily free up some space.
To locate large files, you can use Spotlight as described here. That method may not find large folders that contain a lot of small files.
You can also use a tool such as OmniDiskSweeper (ODS) to explore your volume and find out what's taking up the space. You can delete files with it, but don't do that unless you're sure that you know what you're deleting and that all data is safely backed up. That means you have multiple backups, not just one.
Proceed further only if the problem hasn't been solved.
ODS can't see the whole filesystem when you run it just by double-clicking; it only sees files that you have permission to read. To see everything, you have to run it as root.
Back up all data now.
Install ODS in the Applications folder as usual.
Triple-click the line of text below to select it, then copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C):sudo /Applications/OmniDiskSweeper.app/Contents/MacOS/OmniDiskSweeper
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window (command-V). You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
I don't recommend that you make a habit of doing this. Don't delete anything while running ODS as root. If something needs to be deleted, make sure you know what it is and how it got there, and then delete it by other, safer, means.
When you're done with ODS, quit it and also quit Terminal.
