Google thinks I'm in another country but only when I use Firefox.

Google redirects me to google.ru and YouTube shows Russia as my location. I'm not in or near Russia, GeoIP databases I've checked show the correct country.
This only happens on Firefox and not on Chrome. I tried clearing all *.google.com cookies but no luck.
Should I worried that some malicious software has altered my copy of Firefox?
I don't see any plugins or addons that I don't recognize...

Okay, I guess this is a Google problem. Those idiots have made perplexing number of bad decisions and mistakes since Larry Page became CEO.
Now to find where I can report incorrect Google GeoIP inaccuracies.

No. The warranty is tied to the device, not the individual & all iphone 4's are still under warranty.

When i try to watch a video eg bbc iplayer, it says this content doesnt appear to be working please try again later, but if i use ie or google chrome they work fine, only when i use firefox this happens

Based on your description, I would definitely try the troubleshooting linked above, especially the portion about troubleshooting potential RAM issues. You may also want to try running Apple Hardware Test to see if it detects any memory issues (you may need to run extended or looping testing):

FB has changed colours, but only when viewed in Firefox Browser. Why and how to fix?

There appears to be something going on between the FB webpage and Firefox web browser. On my page it comes up with a pink background instead of the usual grey. Also posts that are linked to outside FB sometimes end up turning various shades - green, yellow and red. I have also reported this to FB. It only occurs in Firefox and FB appears normal in all other browsers. I have not manipulated the screen shots in anyway. It goes away for a bit when I refresh. Any link I share that has this odd colouring remains that colour once shared. Here's hoping you can find out what is going on. And for some reason the images won't attach to this report/question. The files aren't that big either.

Burned Image on screen, but only when using Safari

I have a burned image on my IPhone's screen, but only when I use Safari. Additionally, when I open Safari's multiple window viewer feature, the image is there as well. The home screen and every other app is unaffected. Turning off and on the phone does nothing to fix the problem.
I know removing the casing and battery is an adventure, so I am trying to avoid it if I can.
Can anyone think of a way to fix this problem?

Troubleshoot Safari extensions ..
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.

You need a SIM card from the carrier your phone is locked to. If you are trying to use a SIM card from a different carrier, that is why you are getting the error message. Either get a supported sim or request that your phone be unlocked by contacting that carrier.

I am having the same problem. Did turning off iCloud work? Did you just turn everything off or did you actually delete the account off your iPod?

I am unable to view google ads running alongside and under videos on YouTube. This is only a problem when I use Firefox. If I use another browser, I can see the ads. I do not have adlock as it does not appear in my plug-ins/add ons. Please help..

I have been using Firefox for about two years. For about a month now I have been unable to view any Google advertisements that run on YouTube pages alongside and under videos. CS2 is very old and reached its "end of life" a while back. So probably won't run on modern operating systems. If you can still run it, you'll need to uninstall what you have and re-install with the download link below to activate it.

Tell us some version numbers please, of your Mac OS versions and iTunes versions on both computers (two eMacs yes?).

As far as I know there is no US cell carrier that allows pay as you go with an iPhone. You can purchase an unlocked iPhone 4S at an Apple Store and try it with a non-supported carrier.

I've done a separate search and found that other users are affected, but there doesn't seem to be a clear-cut solution ... (Norton, McAfee and Kaspersky don't seem to be able to detect/fix it).
