  • Google Toolbar will not display in Firefox 4

I have downloaded, and reinstalled, the latest version of the Google Toolbar for use in Firefox 4. While the "space" exists at the top of the browser for the toolbar to show, the actual toolbar is not displaying. I assumed this problem would be solved by now? I have also uninstalled all add ons, and still had the same problem.

  • Adobe Acrobat XI Pro - Toolbar Did Not Install in Firefox

    Hi,
The toolbar did not install in Firefox.  I'm using Firefox 31.0 on a Windows 7 Computer.  I want to be able to convert webpages to pdf files and print the webpages out.

Go to your Extensions in Firefox to see if it is ENABLED or DISABLED.  My money is on DISABLED.

  • Why can I not install adobe flash, I get a message saying it will not install while firefox is runing

When I try to download adobe flash player everything goes fine and the download finishes. When asked to install I get a message that says it will not install while an application is running. Which is Mozilla Firefox

Adobe Shockwave Flash needs to install plugins for Firefox, and Flash needs to do that with Firefox closed. So close Firefox and run the Flash installer.

  • Adobe Flash Upgrade will not install after Firefox upgrade to 3.6.7

I upgraded to Firefox 3.6.7. After the upgrade I got a message that I needed to upgrade Adobe Flash due to security vulnerabilities. The Flash upgrade will not install. It simply sits and never installs no matter how long I wait.

    Just once or twice

Thanks for your response. I have previously reviewed this. The only potential problem it seems to resolve is having 2 versions of Shockwave installed. I only have one. The only thing I can think of to do is just uninstall the one version and see if it will trigger an installation. When I go to the Flash install site, I agree to the terms and get the next screen that says download will start. I never get a message asking if it's ok to run or anything. No matter where I look for a download for Flash I wind up at the same place with the same problem. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
    Thanks

  • Google Chrome will not install on MacBookPro OS 10.7.5

I had to remove Google Chrome from my laptop because it kept crashing and now it will not install. I am using OS version 10.7.5. In the Application folder this is the image I get.
This looks like it is not supported. I need to use Chrome for work and am confused what to do now. Any thoughts on how to correct this issue?

  • When is the non compatibility problem with Google toolbar going to be fixed with Firefox 5 as I am fed up keep being asked to install Firefox 5 when I know that the Google toolbar will not work.

Firefox are already aware that Firefox 5 and Google toolbar won't work together yet I am continually being asked to install Firefox 5, each time I take the 'ask me later' option only to be asked again.
So when is the problem going to be fixed?

Google needs to update the Google Toolbar program for Firefox 5.0.
The Google Toolbar '''7.1.20110512W''' version does work pretty good in Firefox 5.0 by using the Compatibility Reporter extension. But not every feature works 100%.<br />

  • Flash will not install in Firefox

I have tried to install Flash Player in Firefox 35.0.1 running Windows 8.1 many times and it says that it has installed but if I look at the plugins it never does show up. It installs just fine in Internet Explorer. I have it installed with Firefox on my other computers but it will not work on this one. I have searched for help and used the flash uninstaller and the shockwave uninstaller before reinstalling several times but it still will not work. Any answers?

    @khark,
There are no logs posted. Can you please try again?
    @PringlesandIcedTea,
There's one install file supporting both 32- and 64-bit platforms.
I don't understand what you mean by "FF 35 is already out?? why didn't it some up on aol for me."

  • Flash 11 will not install in Firefox

So i just did my 6 month formating.  Installed all my drivers and then installed FireFox.  Went to youtube, of course flash was needed.  It tried to install the 10.3 but failed because of it being out of date i guess, but it directed me to adobe.  I downloaded the 64 bit installer for Windows 7 (yes, im running 64 bit win 7).  Installed it, it said it was succesful, it then opened up Firefox automatically and it said it was installed on the web page.
But its not.  It works for programs such as steam that need it, but not for any of my browsers.  I tried it in IE 8 as well, and it too said I was missing the plugin.
I then uninstalled it with the uninstaller from adobe, reinstalled, and still it doesnt work in any browser.
I did install shockwave and that is working fine, but not flash, please help.

Did you run both installers (plugin & ActiveX)?
    Download them from http://forums.adobe.com/thread/909550

How exactly is it "not installed"?  What do you see when you go to a Flash site?

  • Yahoo toolbar will not install - what's up??

I HAVE INSTALLED SEVERAL TIMES IN THE LAST 3 DAYS, SINCE YAHOO UPDATED. IT WILL WORK WITH IE, BUT NOT FIREFOX.
    I PREFER FIREFOX.
I HAVE DELETED, UNINSTALLED, RE-INSTALLED - NO SUCCESS.
    HELP!

    Hi falang50,
I understand that Yahoo Toolbar preferences are not working properly. Unfortunately there is not much that Mozilla can do here. Please also contact the Yahoo developers to further investigate an ETA for any changes.
In the meantime, I am sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Firefox 6. says update is available. when i try to install error that other firefox is currently running so update will not install. then firefox starts. i verified no other programs are running on the pc but still get same message

This began when an auto update was downloaded to my pc late August. I do use thunderbird 6.02 and that is up to date. That I closed before Firefox update attempt. Task mnager in windows 7 says no programs are running. Current version in firefox is 6.0 with update available when i go to help about firefox.

If there are problems with updating then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
    * Firefox 7.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
    * Uninstall your current Firefox version.
    * Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version or you lose your bookmarks and other data in the profile folder.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
    * It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

If files already have been downloaded then you may have to remove the files in the updates and updates\0 folder.<br />

  • Latest Flash player will not install on Firefox

No problem installing with IE. Just on Firefox I need to
install manually (solution with manually installing it in ..plugins
does not work). Message when downloading and installing: disk space
not enough...which is wrong. I suspect it tries to install on C:/

Seems as if we stumbled on a common error with Adobe Flash.
I am also running Mozilla Firefox and get the same error,

available. I then check the installation path which is
    I:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash (c:\ is a card reader). I

  • Google Calendar will not print in Firefox 19.0 and adobe reader x when one presses the print button in the popup window.

I have the monthly calendar on screen, click the more button, click print. Another window pops up and when I click the print button nothing happens. I am using Firefox 19.0 and Adobe Reader 10.1.6. The print function works in IE and Chrome.

this solution did NOT work for me. I still cannot print a Google calendar page in Firefox. I can in IE. And I can print Gmail.
