Google translate opens

Hi, I have just started a new web page all I've done is set a background color, titled the page (Japan), placed the title (Japan) on the page and a link back to the home page. But when I uploaded it and view it every thing is fine but Google toolbar opens saying translate Indonesian. What's gone wrong?

I never tested the Google translation engine and they do not have a lot of documentation on the page.  But it appears that the fewer the words that are on the page the more likely Google is to suggest the wrong language to translate.  If you add more text do you get the same result?  If it is still guessing to translate to the wrong language you may want to post a link to the page, or the code from the page, so people here can try to help you troubleshoot this a bit.

  • Why firefox crash when I open gmail or google translate?

when I open new gmail or google translate firefox crash again and again Its happening after updating into firefox 3.6.19. It also causes for slowing my computer now what can I do?

This is a known issue with Adobe Reader, and it depends on Adobe updating their plugin.
Whilst you're waiting for Adobe to fix their plugin, you can disable it and fallback to the default PDF reader in Firefox by following these steps:
#Go to ''Tools'' > ''Options'' (or ''Firefox'' > ''Options'').
#In the Options window, select the ''Applications'' tab.
#In the ''Search'' field, type ''PDF''. You should find ''Portable Document Format (PDF)''.
#On the right handside you should find an ''Action'' column. In order to view PDF files in Firefox, choose ''Preview in Firefox''.
Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!
    Thank you.

  • Can't open google translate

I got my 3gs on the day of release and for some reason I can't open the google translate page that translates only words and text. All the other google pages work fine but when I try to open that particular page I gette error message "Safari cannot open the page because the server cannot be found" and this also happens over wifi and has not happened on any other pages google or not

Works for me. My old bookmark didn't work, so I had to use the "More" menu on the main Google page. Saved a new bookmark sand it works fine now.

  • Web based Google translate crashes iOS7

Every time I attempt to open google translate via safari since upgrading to ios7,  safari crashes.
    Does this happen for others.
This is a disaster ias it is one of my mist frequent Ly visited web pages.  (The ap is too inferior to the web based version for me to want to use it  instead of  the web page .   Safari should work with all web pages on the ipad.

Chrome had a fix for the header bar a few days after release of ios7, which is nice, because  safari 1os7 shuts down when one attempts a visit to the classic mode of google translate.    The mobile version works, but not the web-based full featured classic mode, which worked perfectly well in iOS 6.
I just told you, no, it doesn't shut down on the "classic" mode. I'm running iOS 7.0.2 on an iPad 2 and Safari does NOT crash when I visit the non-mobile version of Google translate. So why does it crash on your system and not mine? Hint, it's not iOS 7. It's something on your system, some corruption, some glitch, some cache. And from your posting it doesn't look like you've done a single thing to troubleshoot your issue. Why is that?

  • Adding Google Translate to a Muse site

    Hello,
I created the following website for a client recently: www.sinoprestige.com
Trying to add Google Translate function to appear in the top right of the page somewhere as a drop-down for All Languages.
The site is hosted on GoDaddy, so I went on the File Manager there and edited the HTML files that I exported from Muse. I placed the first Translator snippet code just in front of the closing </head> tag and the long snippet code on the first blank line under the first <body> tag.
However, the Translator is not there on the website. I followed the advice of the bottom post of this thread: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5520675#5520675
Please can someone help me get this working? Have I misplaced the 2 sets of code?

If you went into the code to do it you didn't do it right. With Muthere is no reason to go into the code to add Google Translate.
Once you get your Google Translate code ... go into Muse and open your main template.
Go to Page Properties and paste your head code as in the screenshot below (ignore the font-awesome code that is for something different):
Once you are done that go to Object --> Insert HTML and paste your second part of the code there:
Move the HTML box to where you want it on your page:
Publish (or upload) ... and it works!

  • Can one disable the embedded Google Translate

    Hi,
some websites have embedded the Google Translate in the code. I.E. every time one opens the site, you get this blue "Do you want to translate this page" - bar. Is there an extension one can use to block the stupid bar. I manage English just fine on my own and if I need translation, I will ask for it, I do not need to be asked about it every time. (My Firefox and O.S. are not the English versions).
I know I can use cookies to let the pages know that I do not want the translation, but I have set Firefox to deletye cookies upon exit, and I will keep it that way.

    Hi Just this one question,
Thank you for your question. I understand that you are asking if there is a way to disable the question "Do you want to translate this page" when you come to a site that has Google Translate in its code.
I do not have a complete understanding of how this is implemented without an example website, however it is possible use the do not track option to conceal information about you to other websites.
*[[How do I turn on the Do Not Track feature?]]
It looks like the embedded widget uses the html lang tags to note what the page was mechanically translated from: [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IETF_language_tag] and their support should be provided by the site using the API.
I did find that you can add a span class to not translate, but this would require adding it to every page you visit. [https://cloud.google.com/translate/v2/faq#technical]
Or maybe you can try an add on that just blocks connections: [https://www.googleapis.com/language/translate/v2], I have not tried this.

  • Can I use Google Translate in France on my iPod touch?  Will I be able to access Internet abroad and therefore use software?

Will I be able to use Google translate app in France?  Can I just access Internet abroad?  Any directives?

You can check if the app does require internet by going into airplane mode or turning off WiFi and re launching the app. If it does not work, google "offline translater app for iOS".

  • Since ios 7 I can no longer use google translate in safari.  I use this page every day to translate friends Facebook entries.  Anyone else having this problem?  And is there a fix?

Since ios 7 I can no longer use google translate in safari.  I use this page every day to translate friends Facebook entries.  Anyone else having this problem?  And is there a fix?  Currently it is in my bookmark bar beside Facebook and worked fine until I upgraded top ios 7 a few days ago.

Go to your Google translate bookmark.
Type in a word then tap whatever language.
Make a select for the language to be translated to by tapping Dutch (or whatever language you see in the box all the way to the right. You should see a language menu.

  • How do i get rid of the google translator that keeps poping-up

i dont need a translator for my pages but it seems that google
has forced one on us. I dont have google toolbar installed and google translator is not to be found anywhere in options or other...
But i know for sure that it is javascript, if i turn java off, it gets rid of it but also prevents me from using other pages that use java.
    Anyway around this ?????????
    Thanks

Some pages have a translator embedded in the page code that might get triggered by the ''fr'' in the user agent.
