Got a new computer. Trying to Install CS5. All I see is CS6 which I do not need nor want upgrade 2
I just got a new computer and and I have CS5 on my old computer. It was a download originally and I have the serial numbers. How do I install this on my new computer? Please advise what I can do.

Hello, I got a new computer with the old harddisk. Can't play my itunes music because not authorised. Apple ID is very old e-mail adress that doesn't exist anymore and I forgot the password (5 years old??). When chose for secret question birth date seems wrong. Tried everything. I need to make a new apple-id but cannot connect the music that I bought under my old name to my new name. Can't reach anyone!!! Automatic FAQ system is of no help. What to do?
That doesn't help me. For itunes it brings me to the express lane which doesn't help because my case is not in it. It's all standard procedure things. I understand those but my situation is different. The combination of a passport forgotten and an non-existing email adress (and birth dates that are not correct or not accepted). What I need is my password emailed to another email adress than the original one because that no longer exists.

My computer motherboard and hard drive burn up with cs 4 on it. I got a new computer and cannot reinstalled cs 4 on the new computer. The serial number stated invalid. I needed a serial number that will work.

How do you Sync Playlists (Music) from my ipod Nano TO ITUNES? I know how to sync it the other way, from the computer (Itunes) to the ipad, but I just got a new computer and all the music is only on my Ipod Nano. Any help would be greatly appreaciated. Thanks! Pete B

I am having a very hard time. First I finally got all of my music back into iTunes and then moved them all to my external hard drive. I set up iTunes to automatically put and get music from the external hard drive and whenever I open the drive al of the music is there. Now, I bought a new computer and went ahead and got iTunes all set up then tried to add folder to import from the external hard drive but all the music folders are empty! They show the names of the artists and the albums but there is nothing inside. Please help!!
If you've just moved the drive between systems then see Repair security permissions for iTunes for Windows just in case that reveals the missing files. Apply to a single album folder first as a test. Otherwise, if you've not done too much with the drive since things went missing, an undelete tool might recover the lost media. FreeRecover looks promising... Select the drive, use the options to get file paths and check file integrity, then, presumably, you can restore anything that has been deleted that looks recoverable. Backup to another drive when you're done.

I am running the new computer under Windows 7, and have tried to sync my iPod. It uploaded the photos and videos from the iPod, but won't upload the apps or music. I've installed, uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of itunes (10.6) but it still doesn't work. Any ideas ? I can't even log into itunes on the new computer.
To rule out a software issue or damaged data inside the backup, set it up as new device without using the latest backup afterwards.
If the phone is back to normal after that, restore from the backup again.

Put it on the new computer.
Installing iTunes and logging into a user's account has never caused media to magically appear on a computer.
Copy the entire iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer.
Alternatively, type "move iTunes library" into the search bar on this site for detailed instructions. -
so i got a new desktop with windows 10 and the latest itunes on it last week. i signed into itunes and all my purchased songs from my laptop showed up and played fine. today when i clicked on itunes this message poped up "we could not complete your itunes store request. the network connection could not be established" i can see my songs but can not play them. internet connection is fine, and i do not see anything out of the ordinary.
i have read some folks that have had the same issues for mac and iphone, but not for windows 10. any help would be appreciated!
ryanAdding a bit to what pac_80 said, you can only download tracks and videos from the iTunes Music Store one time. So you have to copy them from your old computer to your new one.
As to the "can't be found" problem, can you see the problem tracks in your iTunes Music folder? Or are they not there at all? -
My wife currently has two different Itunes account as one is on the old computer with our old email address, Instead of changing the email address on the old account we created a new itunes account with her new gmail address. I just updated the new update for her iphone however I cannot get her contacts etc moved to the new phone as I believe they are all on her old account. It says I need as well to authorize this computer for the itunes store as well but in her account it says one computer authorized (old one) but cannot figure our how to get the new computer authorized as well.
You should be able to authorise the account via the Store drop-down menu at the top of iTunes (if you are using iTunes 11 on a PC then control-B should get the menus to show)
