I know one method to convert the sapscript to pdf file :
first generate a Spool Request for the required Sapscript
then goto transaction SP01 and copy the generated Spool Request number
now execute the SAP report RSTXPDFT4
here enter the copied Spool request number and the target directory into the parameters
execute the report
required pdf file will be generated into the target directory

I was trying to print an international label on eBay via Adobe Reader, and was very dissapointed and shocked that it does not work on Lion.
I was so happy that I figured out how to use adobe reader on Lion, and hope I can help anyone else who is frusterated too.

Thanks Shelly! I too was having trouble and thought it was something wrong with my Mac. I still have a big though. When I try to print the saved pdf file, I get a pop-up that says "The document could not be printed. There are no selected pages to print" even though I am looking at the complete doc. It's there and in my print prompt "all pages" are selected to print. The way I got around this, is by emailing the pdf file to a gmail address and viewing the attachment via Google Docs. It loads perfectly and prints without a problem.

How can I tell what setting was used to create a received PDF?

I get PDFs all the time and I can't find a way of knowing if the PDF was created using Press Quality, Standard, Smallest File size other than just looking at it and zooming in.
Is there a menu item or trick that will tell me how this PDF was created?

The image was almost 9 inches by 7 inches at 300 ppi and I reduced it to about 3 inches wide in my document. I almost never blow-up images unless they can take it without losing resolution.
Maybe I'm not looking in the right place. I went to preflight > sheetfed offset, clicked on Analyze and got lots of readings. The one that said "Resolution of color and grayscale images is less than 150 ppi. This might be insufficient for proper print results." is the one that threw me.
It's too bad that I just can't read how the file was created. Most of clients I deal with make PDFs and never look at the settings they use. I'm in the printing business.
I've just been looking at the PDFs sent to me and zooming in to see if they'll hold up but I'd really like something more accurate.

As required by project, I want to create a sample form only with company logo in header and address info in footer. Then this sample form can be made as a template. Any new form development will use this template form, no need to maintain logo and footer one by one.
above is my requirement. In transaction SFP, I can see Tools->Template manager->add template. I tried to save my sample form as a template, but when preview it, no displaying but with error saying "not well format".
Can anyone help me? I just want to create and use a custom template or fagment (it is said Fragment can also reuse to meet my requirement. but I also don't know how to use fragment).

How to convert a word file into PDF in command line ?

Hi,
I want to convert a word (excel, powerpoint, ...) into a PDF using a windows command line.
The command :
c:\> acrodist toto.ps
is working file and the output is a PDF file (toto.pdf)
But if i try with a MS office word file it is not working
c:\> acrodist toto.doc
The output in the console is:
%%[ Error: undefined; OffendingCommand: ÐÏà¡±á ]%%
%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%
%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%
If i do a right clic on the file with the mouse and select in the context menu the option convert to PDF it is working fine :-\
How can i convert that kind of file with a command line ?
