Got an error trying to download a music Album
Hi, i have buy an album of music on Itune (Arcade Fire, the Subburb Deluxe if it can help) and i download everything from the album alright except ''Scenes from the subburbs'' video. For some reason at this video, Itune call some kind of error with -1450 in it. I have been able to download it from my ipod but i am wodnering how to xfer it to my computer sicne even when i try to xfer what i bought to my computer don't even work too.

Is it giving you a specific error number? And what kind of network connection do you have?
One thing you might try is a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the iPad shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the iPad back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset. Not sure it would help, but it will not hurt. -

There are no files like that in that folder (com.apple.safari). They all have long numbers with .jpeg or .png at the end. That's what I meant by I cannot find any files like those mentioned in all the helps I read today. BTW-it's still crashing - no particular pattern to it at all.
The only two things I have downloaded recently is a new version of Flash and a Mac-driven update to Office.

I have installed CS5 on a macbook pro 10.9.4. I am unable to get the updater to run to update applications to most current version. It tells me there was an error trying to download the update and to try again later.
Getting used to changes in the finder. I finally did see the Adobe Patch installer and am able to update applications individually. Should be able to attend to the main apps I use w/o further difficulty. Thnx for the help.

HT201272 Getting error 3049 while trying to download past music purchases from the Cloud
My wife and I are trying to download all of our past purchases from the cloud. I got all of mine just fine, but my wife's music comes up with error 3049. I haven't found any documentation online of a similar error. Anyone know what that's about?

(updated drivers, changed the hosts (many times in fact) removed antivirus, checked fire wall, stopped fire wall, messed with the hosts some more (copy & paste it to the desktop) downloaded tinyumbrella, put the phone in DFU mode, watched many youtube videos, LOL and I'm sure I'm missing a few other steps i took too.. ) It was something as simple as making sure I was logged in under the right itunes account :| So glad I didn't pay apple the $69 they wanted to tell me I'm a dumb@ss.... Error messages everytime itunes tries to download purchased music
We got a new computer recently, and on our old computer I believe we had itunes 5, and we had a 30 gb 5th gen that we downloaded purchased music onto. we can only get dial up connection where we live, and we never had an issue downloading, it just took awhile.
Now that we have our new computer, we also added an 80gb to the newer itunes (7?) we put on the new computer. I have purchased 3 songs, and everytime i try to download them, it says the network connection has timed out, or to check the network connection, etc. Not even a snippet of the song gets downloaded. It pretty much immediately goes to the error message.
Is itunes 7 set up to only be used with a broadband connection to download? Our internet connection is never the issue. Its pretty irritating to have songs ive purchased and not be able to put them on our ipods.
Any help would be appreciated, as im not too computer literate, and i cant figure this out.

error-5000 not enough access priviledgesGo to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

HELP, I just bought my first iPod yesterday and so far its my nightmare. I am trying to download an audio book and some music that I purchased and every time, I get the -50 error. Problem 2, the audiobook and music that I purchased last night (and couldn't download) have disappeared from my "purchased" page.
someone please help me. im having a similar problem to the one posted. ive never had any issues purchasing music off off itunes and putting it into my library. but one song, no matter how many times i restart itunes, will download a third of the way and freeze. its not my computer, thats completely functional, but it just wont download past that. i tried to deleting it too, so it could go on to the next song and give me the rest.

Error (-50) When Trying To Download Purchased Music

I recently upgraded to iTunes 7.0.1. Since then, I cannot download purchased music. I get the following error message:
There was a problem downloading X (name of song). An unknown eror occurred (-50).
I have never had problems downloading purhcased music before. Is there a known bug/issue with 7.0.1?
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

JulieI am having the SAME PROBLEM and it's driving me NUTS! I couldn't find an answer here so I emailed iTunes support. Here is what they said:
The error you describe may be caused by the presence of web
acceleration or firewall software. While the iTunes Store is unable to provide
technical support, I can recommend that you either test your connection to
the iTunes Store without the presence of this software or configure
your system to allow access to the iTunes Store's address.
However, I'm not sure that is my problem because my computer is new, (I have a macbook), I haven't downloaded any kind of software other than software updates from apple, I use safari, and my roommate has no problem d-loading onto her computer. Also, the album I purchased comes with an interactive booklet and that downloads without a problem. So, I don't know. I just emailed them again and I'll respond to this thread if I get a solution. Otherwise, please let me know if you figure it out!

So many errors trying to download...going insane!

I upgraded to itunes 7 and am having nothing but heartache. First, I was having so many problems with my external hard drive, so I disconnected it. Then, I asked itunes to download the 2nd season of Lost, and am having the worst time getting it to download. Here is a list of my problems.
1. Itunes does not download the episodes in order.
2. Itunes downloads for several hours, then gives me a "File seems to be corrupted" number 100008 message, and I lose any amount of the episode I have already downloaded.
3. After a long time, it will say the network connection is lost and stop the download or will simply say the downloading "was interrupted"
I never had these problems with the previous version of itunes and it is driving me crazy. Any suggestions? Is there a way to tell itunes to keep trying to download automatically, even after losing a network connection? Any idea about the corrupted file, or how to get it to download in order? I have spent many hours on this, and have only managed to get it to download 3 shows (out of 30). Grrr.

This doesn't work - I have tried it numberous times - over a few weeks for some tracks. The tracks affected are;

All other tracks downloaded from this account too have been fine.
Any time I check for purchased music they all pop up, then I have to clear the error - and it's irritating. Also, I have paid for them - over £5 worth over the two accounts now - and would (funnily enough) like to receive the things wot I 'ave bought.
I sent a message to this effect to iTunes support and, eventually, received the following in reply;

Only one of the tracks you have reset worked. The rest are coming up with exactly the same message. Unfortunately, the one that worked is the wrong version of the song - the one I was downloading is;

I have the most recent version of iTunes.
My antiviral software isn't obstructing iTunes downloads, as the vast majority are fine. I did, however, try turning it off and redownloading. No joy.
My computer is not networked.
None of the articles helped - and I couldn't find a mention of error 100008 on the support site.

iTunes includes many features to protect you from purchasing the exact same song or video twice. iTunes does not check your Library for ripped media or media purchased using another account. If you accidentally purchased a duplicate song or video, simply follow the steps below to send a refund request for the item to one of our support agents.
1. Locate the song or video in your Purchase History
2. Click on the "Report a Problem" link
3. Select "I already own this item" from the drop down menu
4. Enter notes explaining the situation in the Comments section
