Yes, you should get an email if somebody replies to a thread you started or one to which you posted. I did; that's how I knew you had replied. Check up at the top of the right column of this thread. In the "Actions" box you should find "Stop email notifications" if you are subscribed to this thread.
One step you didn't list among HP's suggestions is a compound action: delete the app, reset the iPad (by holding down the home and start buttons together for ten seconds), then reinstall the app and test it. If it still falls over, I would say the HP app has not kept up with iOS changes and needs updating -- OR your iPad has developed some persistent internal corruption in its photo storage that only the HP app trips over (in which case, the app still needs updating, but it's going to be much harder for HP to determine how).

Find an app you like. Contact the developer of that app and see if they are interested.

Looking for HP printer App/Icon to save on desktop

Hi - I am presently using Windows 8.1 operating system. In a previous version of Windows, I had installed a HP app/icon for printing photos and saved it on my desktop screen, the app looked like a picture of a "small HP printer" and it was very convenient when I wanted to print single photos on photo paper. After selecting my options on that printer app such as choosing a 2x3 or 4x6 size etc., I could select a photo and drag it to the printer app and it would automatically send a request to my printer to print that size photo. Now that I've installed the later version of Windows - (8.1), that printer app has disappeared from my desktop and I can't find out where to download it again. I do have a program installed called "HP Photo Creations" but that program only shows options to select 4x6 or 5x7 sizes etc., it does not give me the option to print a single 2x3 size photo. Anyone know where I could possibly download that small HP printer app/icon? I hope it's still available and can work on Windows 8.1, it really was soooo convenient.

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I understand that you are wondering if an app you used to have is still available for Windows 8.1.
The app you mention in your post predates my time with HP and I had to do some digging around. I was able to find out that at one time an app similar to the one you mentioned did exist, but no one I worked with was able to remember the name of it or how it worked. It appears that it is no longer available.

This is a cross post from one I put in the discussion threads. Someone said I should put it in this thread, too.
In AI, the Constrain function is less accessible than it is in FH,
because it is a preference setting. Besides being much less convenient
to get to, it also means you can't utilize it in AI's Actions. If you
COULD use it in Actions, it would be very useful in tech
illustration--moreso than FH's Constrain--because changing AI's
constrain also rotates the grid (!). So using Actions, you could set up
one-click buttons to rotate the grid to the axis you are drawing on, and
you'd be able to use the grid to measure along the axis.
If anyone pertainent at Adobe is listening here, I sure hope this would
be considered as a modification for the next version. Make the Constrain
function immediately accessible as a simple menu selection instead of a
preference. (In FH, it's a command under the View menu. There is a
Constrain Xtra that basically just lets you access the Constrain dialog
by clicking on a "tool" icon. So, for example, when you are drawing in
isometric, you can simply put the Constrain Tool in a convenient place
(mine stays in the main toolbar). You click it, key in either 30, 150,
or 0, and hit return. Don't even have to look at the screen, so it's
fairly quick. Of course, this is nowhere NEAR as good as it would be in
AI, if only the Constrain could be built into an Action. You could
create 3 buttons, (one for each X, Y, and Z axis) and one click would
give you a measurable grid on the appropriate axis. Besides FH not
having a macro capability like AI's Actions, FH's Constrain does not
rotate the grid. So making the Constrain funtion in AI a menu selection
instead of a preference would result in a significant advantage for tech illustration.
If you REALLY want to blow FH away in this regard, do the same thing
with the grid. The user definable Grid is similar to FH's Rulers in that
you can set the increment you want. But in FH, again, it's a menu
command/dialog, not a preference setting. And you can create as many
custom rulers as you want (they are then selectable from a popup at the
lower left of the document window). If AI allowed for multiple
user-defined grids, then made them accessible as menu items rather than
as prefs, you could switch them with Actions. Then, you could, with one
click, measure along your three drawing axes EVEN IF THEY HAD DIFFERENT
SCALES (facilitating dimetric and trimetric, instead of just isometric
drawing.)

I replaced my Z10 with a new one. I used the Blackberry link to restore the data to my new device. I configured the mails and applications i normally use.
However i started getting notification in the BB hub for Twitly and some other apps that I cannot guess as only user ID was mentioned in the prompt.
I had stopped using Twitly about 6 months ago and there fore it should not have been in the backup i made last (the one i sued during restore).
Please help.

Ideas for improvements of apps in terms of efficiency and delivery

As a mathematician with some basic notions of programing I often cannot avoid to ellucubrate about the nature of the code of the apps or programs that I am using at the time, sometime thinking of possible improvements or additions that could be made with as little efficiency cost as possible. Though I do relize that most of them might be unviable and thus not use at all; but I also believe that eventually there might be one or two worth having a deeper look at for further development and it would be a shame for it to go to waste just for not having taken the time to put it out. In conclusion: I strongly encourage everyone to criticize and contribute to any of the suggestions made in whichever way they deem more appropiate as well as to add any of their own that they might think may be of value.
1. Remote app to controll ones iTunes library
I think it is a shame that it limits the control you have over your iTunes library to your wifi net as the latter is often slave to a network that can be of very limited reach for a whole range of different reasons. It is my understanding that, at the current state of things, the device we use as a remote must also be connected to the same network; but this device is often an iPhone which is not bound that wifi source (as it is also the case for a considerable part of the later iPad generations). My conjecture is that the primary reason why this is not exploited by this app is that it would take up a lot of data exchange to synchronize the libraries and increase the exposure of both devices to malware attacks. But this issiue could be easily tackled by simply adding an optional feature for these sort of devices on iTunes that would entail saving only the titles in the library at that moment and establish a quick link between each one of them and the reproduction command of the latter on the iTunes library so that it can be easily commanded to play a track from our device without having to worry of it being in reach of the wifi network.

I Got An Idea For Ipod Accesories

i was thinkin, wouldent it be great to have an ipod cover what you could draw on with pens, and wash off and re-design

I, however think this is a good idea. The cases available for iPod's, especially new ones, lack any sort of creativity or individuality. Iv had to put up with some crap clear silicone case for my iPod video because i am unable to get any sort of neat case for it, and, being a creative person myself, would lvoe the chance to design my own case.
If you stamp your identity on your music sotred on your ipod, why not stamp your identity on the cover covering it.

I got charged twice for an in app purchase and i need a receipt asap

Tried purchasing gems for brave frontier and phone lagged out....got back on and it said i made a the purchase but no product from the game was delivered....tried again and the delivery was instant....paid for 2 and i got 1 and brave frontiers support wont help unless i get a receipt

Go into the iTunes store and into your account.
After entering your account there should be purchase history in the 3rd tab ( if you're using the latest iTunes software ).
Printscreen your Purchase history and send it over to Brave Frontiers help and support forums.

I got an idea for SSD

I've seen dual CF to IDE adapters where the cards are back to back and i've also seen em where the two cards are lengthwise
so why cant they do them lengthwise and back to back and have 4 CF ports on a 2.5 IDE and stick some little chip or something in to make them read as RAID something or other and get a cumulative read/write score on however many you put in?
im gonna ask addonics to make them, then pay me some royalties or something
is that possible even?
seems to me the more cards you have in the setup the better as far as raid goes and the smaller cards are much cheaper
would you buy one of those?

Print apps

I loved the idea of these printer apps, was so looking forward to scheduling them for after work. Apparently all the ones that are on my printer are not available in Canada. This is the message i get when i try to open the apps under "Manage my apps"
We were unable to schedule this printable. This printable may not support scheduling on your printer or in your country.
What exactly does this mean, why can't i see these apps??

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I understand that you would like to know more about the Printables available on your Officejet 8610 printer.
Not all Printables are the same in every country/region. “Some Printables are relevant worldwide, but other Printables are useful to users only in particular countries/regions. For example, a Printables for a grocery store chain in the United States would not be useful to our customers in Europe. When you set up your printer, you identified the country/region it is in. Your HP account shows you Printables relevant to your specified country/region. To browse or select Printables from another country/region, select a different country/region using the selector at the bottom of HP website.” This information can be found in the Getting Started with Printables and Print Apps document in the FAQ section.
Notwithstanding the above, to better assist you, would you please supply some additional information?
Do you get the same message about accessing the Printables from your HP ePrintCenter account? I was able to add my printer, and add an app to my Officejet from HP’s ePrintCenter when it was set to Canada/English. At this time, HP Connected has only been rolled out to the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Spain.
How is the printer connected (USB cable, ethernet, or wireless)?
Have you enabled web services on the printer?
Are you using Windows 7 as indicated above? whatsmyos.com
