Got "HTTP - 404" error when apply change of report attributes
Environment:
Oracle 10g (not XE)
APEX 3.1.2.00.02
Oracle HTTP Server
I tried to modify a page in "101 - Sample Application", changed the report attributes (changed the heading type from Column Names to Customer), and when I applied the change, I got a "HTTP - 404 Page not found" error.
In error log file of Apach, the error message is "mod_plsql: /pls/apex/wwv_flow.accept HTTP-404 ORA-25402......"
Anyone can help me? Thanks.
Please tell us your first name and update your profile with it to help us. Thanks.
changed the report attributes (changed the heading type from Column Names to Customer)I don't follow that.
Can you install this application into your workspace on apex.oracle.com (request one if necessary) and reproduce this problem there?

HTTP 404 Error when attempting import
Hi,
I'm trying to import an application into our UAT environment, which I've exported from the development environment, but am getting redirected to the HTTP 404 - page not found page when I click on the import button. I've also tried importing the application into the same instance as I exported it from, just to see if it was a database-specific issue, but get the same outcome.
Export Db version: 10.2.0.2.0
Import Db version: 10.2.0.4.0
APEX version: 3.2.0.00.27
Below is a sample from the Apache error log file:
[Mon Aug 24 12:11:09 2009] [error] [client 10.17.14.12] [ecid: 1251112269:10.17.8.36:31956:19164:1,0] mod_plsql: /pls/apex/wwv_flow.accept HTTP-404 ORA-00942: table or view does not exist\n

I've also ensured that the PlsqlNLSLanguage entry is commented out of the dads.conf file, to ensure there's no confusion over the character set but this has made no difference either.
Hope someone out there can help!
Cheers,
Dougie

Forgot this thread was open as of yet. There was a solutio but nothing concrete I can offer to th user community. The reason i that this devolved into a Note to SAP and, as I recall, the solution was for a BO consultant to remotely access our development server for BO an bsically do "brain surgery" in the SQL Server db we had supporting BO. It was a difficult issue an eventually required direct intervention from SAP-BO. -
UCCX 7.0(2) Phone Agent HTTP 404 Error
Hello,
I'm running UCCX 7.0(2) and get an HTTP 404 Error when trying to login with IPPA. I also get an error when I copy and paste the IPPA login URL into a browser on the CCX server. I do not see the IPAgentInitial.class file located on the server anywhere? Is there something that didn't get installed correctly during the uccx install, is this a bug or is there something dumb I'm overlooking?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
GlennHello Glenn,
On my Lab I see the IPAgentInitial.class located here:
C:\Program Files\wfavvid\tomcat_appadmin\webapps\ipphone\WEB-INF\classes\sciphonexml\jsp
And I see the XML when browsing to the URL:
http://:6293/ipphone/jsp/sciphonexml/IPAgentInitial.jsp
You could try this:
- Stop the Node Manager service
- Delete (or rename) the folder “C:\Program Files\wfavvid\tomcat_appadmin\webapps\ipphone”
- Start the Node Manager service
After a few minutes check that the folder has been recreated and try again.

Just published a new site to an FTP server and I got a 404 error message saying the site doesn't exist. When I retype the name of the site, I get a page from my hosting service saying this is the future home of [my site]. Any ideas?
Hi roddy,
thanks for responding. I read your link, looked at my settings and they were all correct. I tried to do a republish and got this message: The requested URL /childrenandcaring/index.html was not found on this server.
When I type the address in the address bar, I go to the site and the page says: This is the new site childrenandcaring.com
Any other ideas?

HTTP 404 error occurs randomly when navigating to HTMLDB pages
Oracle support have asked me to raise this issue here (ref TAR 4248522.999).
Environment:
Windows 2003 server
Oracle DB version 10.1.0.2.0
Oracle HTMLDB v 1.6.0.00.87
Problem:
When navigating to an HTMLDB page using a list item, an HTTP 404 error occurs randomly. There is no error in the database alert log BUT the following error is reported in the Apache log file which is recorded whenever the HTTP 404 error occurs:
[Thu Jan 20 09:58:48 2005] [error] [client 10.25.22.163] [ecid: 1106215128:10.25.22.53:3576:3352:23759,0] mod_plsql: /pls/htmldb/f HTTP-404 ORA-00001: unique constraint (FLOWS_010600.WWV_FLOW_DATA_IDX1) violated

A list item is being used for navigation. It has been setup with a target type of 'Page in this Application' and a Page number of a page in the application. The checkbox 'reset pagination for this page' has been
checked. The problem occurs when launching the application directly in a new browser or
when running the application using the Application Builder's run application.
The error occurs intermittently.I'm from support , The customer has open an SR
TAR:4248522.999 to this issue.
He updated the SR with following.
I have not been able to re-produce this problem with the sample application. -
I have a php script that when I hit submit, it submits the form to another php file with a get command. This worked about a month ago, but this month it's having issues. This is what the relevant code looks like in the table php file. Running
table.php shows the table in the browser and has 404 errors when I hit submit.
table.php:
<body>
<h1> Visual Evaluation Entry Table </h1>
<form method="get" action="visEupload.php">
<table id="bigTable" border="1">

</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
<input id="submit" type="submit" class="list" name="submit" value="Submit To Database" >
<!--maybe move all php part to other file-->
</form>
</body>
The server is mapped so when we run it off of the server, we use the server ip address and my file name and skip the rest of the path, which works fine with the table.php file, so that mapping appears correct. When I run it off of the server (from my
desk) and hit submit it gives me a 404 file or directory not found. When I run it locally on the server, it's saying it can't find the file name, but it says the requested url is `http://localhost:80/errorpages/403_error.html.` Physical path: E:\vise\jqproject\web\errorpages\403_error.html.
The error message says the notification is from the MapRequestHandler of Module IIS Web Core. I'm not sure why the requested url/path isn't referring to visEupload.php.
(Running on the server) When I change the action in the table.php get to include the IP address, it's behaving weirdly:
Module IIS Web Core Notification MapRequestHandler Handler PHP53_via_FastCGI, Requested URL `
http://localhost:80/13.141.xxx.xx/visEupload.php?bandy=xx&bandM=xx&bandc=hj&bandk=xx&comment=xx&submit=submit+to+database
physical path shows as E:\visE\jqproject\web\13.141.xxx.xx\visEupload.php
Login Method and user Anonymous.
When I change the url to just be
localhost/viseUpload.php
it's getting HTTP Error 404 not found. Any ideas why it's not finding the visEupload.php file? It has the correct .php extension. In file properties it's a type php file with name visEupload.php.
I took a look at
[404 error][1] but I see my "allowUnlisted="true" in applicationHost.config. I'm not using sitefinity, though.
I'm not sure if something got over-written when we did a server windows update.
I know we were having a problem with get and post a couple months ago and we had to add them to the IIS Manager Handler Mappings somewhere, but don't remember where we added them to check. Since I tried directly accessing the visEupload.php without any
get (and commented out get code in the file) it should have worked if that was the issue.
We are running server 2008 R2 and I'm not sure which version of IIS it is.
In case it matters, this is the contents of the visEupload.php:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en" >
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8" />
<title>Big Table</title>
</head>
<body>
<?php
require_once( "../classes/class.OLAPdatabase.php");
require_once( "../common/Session.php");
$OLAPdb = new OLAPdatabase;
handling of the get part is commented out
?>
</body>
All I can think of is that when I access visEupload.php it's running from the get/action in table.php. This might be a different user running in the system. I tried changing visEupload.php file properties to have full control for IUSR and Internet
Guest Account. It already has full control for System, and me. Users have read & exeture and read permissions. Or maybe it's something that has to do with how the directory is mapped out. I'm not sure what could be affecting this, and
why the message said it can't find the path to 403_error.html.

BizTalk published WCF service throwing HTTP 404 error using ISA reverse proxy settings
I have published my schemas as a WCF service from BizTalk 2010 "Publish WCF Service" wizard. I used Wcf-basicHTTP adapter in receive port. I am able to run the service successfully on localhost IIS and I tested my biztalk solution by sending request using SOAP UI and got response successfully.... Now: Actually, I need to give this service endpoint to my vendor who will send request from outside my company's network i.e. internet. In my infrastrucrue BizTalk is behind the firewall so, we setup a REVERSE proxy server at DMZ layer and it is configured properly. I have tested a simple WCF service by replacing the localhost with Proxy server configured address <DNSName> and it worked absolutely fine. But when I change localhost in my BizTalk schema based published WCF service it is not working and I am getting following error. Really strugling to get it resolved. I wasted a whole 3 days....very upset. Please help me out by giving the detailed step solution. Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly. Requested URL: /BizTalkServiceInstance/MyService.svc I am surprized why other c# code based WCF services are working fine with reverse proxy settings. Server Error in '/' Application. The resource cannot be found.Is there any special things to consider Biztalk exposed wcf servcie over ssl in IIS cluster with ISA
Hi Singam :)
First I would start by browsing any other files (files other than the one from WCF) just to ensure that the reverse-proxy’s redirection rules are set correctly. If you get the same 404 error when you try to access other service/files “through reverse-proxy”,
then it’s an issue in the redirection rule(s) in reverse-proxy.
If others are fine i.e. no issue in reverse-proxy setup as such, then try the following for WCF service's web.config file. I have seen this issue in WCF service (not just BizTalk’s artifacts exposed as service in reverse-proxy). Add serviceHostingEnvironment
config as show with in serviceModel section.
<system.serviceModel>
<serviceHostingEnvironment aspNetCompatibilityEnabled="true" multipleSiteBindingsEnabled="true" />
</system.serviceModel>

SharePoint Workflow HTTP 404 Error
Hey guys,
I'm testing the functionality of workflow manager 1.0 on my SP 2013 SP1 environment. Both installed at the same Windows Server 2012 Standard.
I'm able to create and publish a WF using SP designer but when I tested it I got the following error message and status 'Suspended':
RequestorId: e3e4be0c-8745-2ea6-0000-000000000000. Details: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the workflow instance. executor, BookmarkManager bookmarkManager, Location resultLocation)
Although that message makes no sense to me I can see a HTTP 404 error code but I can't identify what cause that problem!
In SP log file I can't find any information related to my problem mainly because the file also has events from other services of SP as it is a production environment...it's just too complicated. Also I'm not sure of what to look for in there
Has anyone ever went through this issue and solved it? Or could anyone help me to find a way to solve it?try this:
1- Create normal user account grant it permission to the site where you will create workflow.
2- Make sure that you have User Profile Synchronization run and all user profiles are imported
3-when you create workflow, log with different account than the farm account, normal user that you grant access to the site, then recreate the workflow by this account.
4- log to the site with the user that you created and create the workflow by using this account.

Follow two NOTES 212394 & 661852
or
Ensure that PSE (Personal Security Environment) is created directly on SAP system after the system is installed, this is one time activity.
To do this you use T Code "STRUST". You can check with your Senior Basis guy for more.
By default the system's PSE is used to sign URLs. from SAP WAS you can also create your own PSE to sign Kpro URLs

Bam portal showing http 404 error
Hi,
When i open BAM portal in our QA server it works fine, i can see all views and activities,
But, when i open in my local system it gives "HTTP 404 error" - "The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable."
There is no error in event log,
Anonymous Authentication , ASP.Net Imersonation and Windows Authentication are enabled
Here is screenshot of .net authorization rules specified.
The same is working fine in Development server.
I think it is some IIS issue.
Thanks,
Sarvasetty."HTTP 404 error" as the error says is resource issue not an authorization issue. I think you're missing some files required for BAM portal. Rerun the BizTalk configuration tool, remove the BAM portal and rerun it again to install the BAM portal
from scratch again.
Also ensure you have the relevant .NET framework version is set in Application Pool which is used by your BAM portal
