Got "invalid number" when tried to verify my area code 437 number

I recently changed my phone number which used to have area code 416 but now has area code 437. Both are Toronto area codes. However when I tried to update my Skype To Go number to the new one, I got the following error message: "The phone number is invalid. Please check that you have entered it correctly. " I suspect it is probably bacause 437 is quite new and Skype does not yet recognize it. Can any one please let me know how could I verify this new number? Thanks in advance.

This problem now appears for me too.
When using iforgot.apple.com email-verification clicking the reset link results in the "Invalid Link" error.
The error, that caused me to do this (password failing to verify against iCloud) has vanished since though.

I even reinstalled my WRT110 to be sure of the Network Name and Password but I still get this error. I have never been able to log in to the wireless network. I can see it - Ienter my password and still "Invalid Password"

I don't understand this: Connect directly to the router. Is this the http://192.168.1.1?

THE FIX: your credit card address AND spelling of your name must match iTunes.
Please don't google or read other blog entries on the Internet telling you to use a restaurant address or those that are telling you apple is doing address validation. They are all written by 17 year olds who pick up the first thing and re-post. Why do people try to "help" by authoritatively posting an answer? The mass of them are ruining my google searches. :-)
Apple is now validating whatever ASCII that you told your credit card company. It's not just address validation.
Name AND address must match.
Then it worked for me.

I am still getting invalid signature when trying to update Itunes. I have tried updating manually, but I get the
same thing, an invalid signature error. I tried updating on another computer in the house and it updated fine!

Yahoo has been doing upgrades for the past few weeks, causing random outages for users. Sometimes you just have to wait it out, other times removing and re entering the account info clears things up.

The TIme Machine volume does not have that checkbox.
I think the issue is with your Finder...
Go to Finder "Go" menu hold the option key and choose Library. Then go to Preferences trash these files:
com.apple.finder.plist
com.apple.sidebarlists.plist
Then, restart, or log out and in again.
(You will have to reset a few finder prefs the way you like them.)

Keep getting"invalid Verb" when trying to load websites. IE MSN

log on to main web page which is MSN. got to a couple of favorites and when I hit the home button to go back to MSN I get invalid Verb message. This also happens when trying to update fantasy sport lineups. I can get to the site, change my line up but when I try to pick up a player I get the invalid verb message with a blank screen. This happens all the time. Tried to uninstall fire fox and reinstall it but still the same problems. Love fire fox but this sucks. REALLY.

When trying to create a form field, of type LookupField, I am entering the following Lookup Query property value:

When trying to save, I get
"Invalid Property Value was specified. Insert Failed"
My console log show:
java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00911: invalid character
However, running the above query directly via JDeveloper brings back the proper information.
Any idea what the invalid character might be?

However, now when trying to add the 'Lookup Column Name' and 'Column Names' properties, the same error is being thrown.
I am setting:
Lookup Column Name to be: UD_ADGRP_OBJECTGUID

I would like to be able to key on the OBJECTGUID attribute because I want to use it in a process task. I don't want to have to lookup it later. ie: I have a child table trigger that is executing, and the task adapter that I have assigned is needing the GUID as input.

My hard drive failed, and I have replaced it. Internet Recovery gets an error when trying to verify. What can I do?

I replaced my hard drive due to my old one failing.
When I use Internet Recovery, it gives me the option to reinstall Mavericks. Then an error occurs when it tries to verify, and asks me to try again.
Are my options just to reinstall from a CD?

Do you have your original installation disc(s)? If so, I would boot from Disc 1 (the bootable installation disc), format the drive using Disk Utility (Mac OS Extended (Journaled) with a single GUID partition) and install the OS that came with your machine.
This may sound like a silly question, but have you formatted the hard drive with Disk Utility before you've tried to install Mavericks under Internet Recovery?

I was finally able to log in through my system preferences after about three or four hours. I ran a disk utility to repair permissions and restarted and it seemed to work ok.
