Got invited but app says my account not activated

i got email with subject line Great news - Skype Translator is ready for you but when downloaded and started skype translator it give me error saying "thanks for your interest in skype translator, the preview is available by invitation only. the account you're using has not been activated" any idea what is wrong. i am using same microsoft account i used for registration and got my invitation on
Yes this same thing happened. Just got the e-mail, I couldn't believe my eyes!!! Then I downloaded the windows 8.1 app and then logged in...........and it said failed "by inviation only"..... What gives?!?!

I have the same problem and unfortunately the only way to get an iCloud ID is to set one up on an Apple device that uses the Apple OS opperating system. If you don't own one, or can't qfford one, then you are simply shut out of using the iCloud. Does it suck? Yes. Is there any solution other than buying an Apple device? No.

Being connected to your wifi network is one thing. Being connected to the internet is another thing.
Try rebooting the router. Just pull the power for a few seconds. No settings get lost. -
My youngest erased all content and settings on my iphone 4s (prepaid) and now it says it is not activated.I still have my account and number,but it says phone number unknown now.How do i fix this?.
If you haven't already tried, see if you can force it into recovery mode to restore it:

I am trying to set up an itune account without a credit card. I have been in contact with apple customer support and have followed the prompts on this artical which they emailed to me. They said its like an account for children to download free apps. Ive done evrything right but it says I do not meet the minimum age requirement. I am 32 years old!!!
Make sure your address is being listed correctly. It can cause issues if invalid information is added. Worst case scenario, reply to that email from support and tell them you stil can't create the account

You will need to login on the device using the same exact Apple ID that was used to download the app. You can not use abother account login to buy in app purchases to prevent fraud.
If you keep getting this warning, you are not logged into the original account. -
I am running OSX 10.6.8 Snow lepard I am trying to install windows on my intel imac 20in late 2006 via bootcamp, and it says I need to download Windows Support Software. I tried, but it says "Download can not continue. The Windows Support Software is not available. I bought the Imac secend hand and did not get the install dvd's with it What can I do?
You don't need to download the Windows support software, because in Snow Leopard, they are only available as a download for the Late 2010 MacBook Air.
Instead, you have to buy Mac OS X Snow Leopard. The Snow Leopard disc contains the Windows drivers for your Mac, so you have to install them after finishing the Windows installation -

If the store that you bought it from is nearby then you could try going back to it and ask them to activate it properly.
