Got iphone 4 yesterday and no issues at all

I ordered my iphone 4 Tuesday at 8am on att's site and received it yesterday. Works perfect. No matter how I try I cant reproduce the reception issue at all. I am not using a case or bumper. 2 of my work colleagues have iphone 4's which they got on the original launch date and I can reproduce the issue on both every single time. Then I try it on mine and I cannot reproduce the grip of death issue at all, no matter how hard I try. Perhaps they fixed a few things with the second batch that was shipped out. I am a brand new iphone user and this phone is da bomb!

I had the "No SIM" issue and AT&T gave me a new SIM. So far so good.
I've also got a friend that has the reasonably "common" proximity sensor issue. I told him to call Apple. It could very well be part of the upcoming software update. After all, I doubt it would take Apple a few weeks only to change a signal display formula.

You should only make purchases for all your devices using a single Apple ID. There is no need, and indeed a good reason not to, set up a new Apple ID with each new device purchase. While items purchased under different IDs can be played on a single device, you cannot merge Apple IDs and it makes it cumbersome.
Apple IDs do not expire but may become dormant and require reactivation if they are not actively used.
You should make note of your Apple ID and passwords and keep a record of it. Like a bank account it contains access to items with value. Update your Apple ID email address as they change.
I see you were guided to this forum by a help page on recovering your password. If that is not sufficient try the links below. Apple will need to verify you are indeed to owner of the accounts to which you are trying to gain access.

I bought the iPhone 6 yesterday and am having connectivity issues

I bought the iPhone 6 yesterday and over the course of the last 26 hours, I've had issues with my phone connecting to data coverage. I can make phone calls and send texts but my most used apps (Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, even the App Store) won't load because they can't connect. Shutting down and restarting the phone has resolved the issue but I don't think that's a suitable resolution long-term. The phone does display that I have 3 bars (or dots in the case of the iPhone 6) and shows "LTE" but the phone doesn't actually connect. Any suggestions/help? Thanks.

That is very strange behavior for this new phone to have, but don't worry, ok? We'll help you get it fixed. Please go ahead and turn the phone all the way off. Then remove the SIM card for at least 30 seconds, replace it, and turn the phone back on. That may just do it for you!

That's not a reset pin. There is no reset hole in which to poke it. Neither is there a reset button. It is the SIM removal tool. If you had it, it would save you the agony of finding a paper clip.

Click set up as a new iPhone. It will associate the device with your library without clearing the content that you have already loaded onto it.

No one here can help you, nor can/will Apple. If you don't know the Apple ID/Password that was originally used to activate this phone, you won't be able to re-activate it. And, if the previous owner tells you that he/she doesn't know it, you're out of luck. You simply won't be able to use the phone for anything other than a paperweight.

We have a very big issue here, Patch Tuesday didn't work correctly yesterday, and the patches took all the free drive space away.
Before we started with the Patches, we had one Gig of free space on our hard drive, now we are down to less than 10 Megs!!!
What happened is that the patches didn't work, we had to try them 7 times, and every time they created a 'temporary restore point' which we don't know where that point is.
The server has crashed twice since, we were able to place it back online but we're afraid it will crash again.
We have several customers on that server, we are very worried,
Can you please help us?

Same problem. Phone was unusable. I managed to turn airplane mode on during one of the phone's "on" moments. It went off once more but then came back on and stayed on long enough to back up and restore via iTunes. As I don't rely on the phone to retain photos, contacts or mail etc I chose to do a complete restore and treat it as a new phone. I did this just to make it as clean a restore as possible but you may be able to restore from your backup and get the same fix? All is good still some 24 hours later. Hope this helps.
