Got my Iphone 5 slightly wet!
Got my Iphone 5 slightly wet, and it died! replaced the battery and its come back on, except its constanly searching for signal, and has lost front camera, otherwise wifi etc works as normal. Could i have disslodged a connector replaceing the battery or has the water done more damage than the battery. Loads of dodgy looking websites that are probably based alongside petrol stations offering to 'Give me a quote', but would sooner chuck it away. Nearest i store is 100miles away so difficult and expensive to get there advise, anyone had a similar experience, is it possible ive disslodged a connector when replaceing the battery?

Um... sorry. Degrees of wetness don't really matter. Just like you can't get your girlfriend "a little bit pregnant".
You could have completely borked the phone in attempting to replace the battery.
You're going to have to look someplace like ifixit.com for advice.
The iPhone is not considered user servicable. Apple does not sell iPhone parts at all, including batteries. Now that you opened the phone yourself, Apple won't touch it.

You need to take it in for out of warranty replacement. It will cost you but phones wrecked by water damage are usually unrepairable in the long or short term.

You should leave the power off and put it in a sealed bag of uncooked rice for 3-5 days. After that, you can try and charge and use the phone. It it got too wet, then you won't have much choice but to purchase a new device. If you have AppleCare+, it would cover this with a $49 deductible. Otherwise, water damage is not covered under warranty and you could purchase an out of warranty (OOW) replacement. In the US they are $229 each.

Make an appointment at the genius bar and get the phone replaced. It will cost you US$149 for an out of warranty replacement.

I recently got my Iphone 5s wet.
Where can I lodge a Service Request for repair and how much? It is still fully functionable.
Even the screen dont have any dents. Buttons are still fully working and the fingerprint scanner.
I just really want it checked cos there's a stray of light inside. Help!Not only will they not replace it nor exchange it, they will provide no further support for it at all. Any warranty you had is now void.

I got my Iphone 5 wet. I put it in a bag of rice for 4 days to dry out and now all it does is show the apple icon on the screen. Any more ideas?
Take it to an Apple store genius bar for out of warranty replacement, in the US that is $269 for an iPhone 5.

You can try drying it out internally by wrapping the unit in a paper towel and putting it in a bag with a dessicant safe for electronics such as silica gel pellets, or failing that in a bag of dry, uncooked rice, for a few days. It's very probable that it's been permanently damaged, but it's possible that if you dry it out, it may then work, though it won't be trustworthy since shorts and corrosion due to liquid infiltration can appear weeks later.
If after a few days in the bag it still has problems, or you don't want to take the risk of it failing later, then you'll need to pay to get it exchanged (by Apple; the price will be relatively low if you have AppleCare+ coverage) or repaired (by a third-party repair service which will void any further support from Apple) or buy a new iPhone.

When I first got my iphone i plugged it into my friends computer and added songs from their itunes. Now when i plug it into my computer it will not connect or show up in the sidebar in itunes. I have already tried factory resetting the phone and 'authorizing this computer' in itunes. Can anyone help?
Is your iTunes up to date, it is now 10.7, click the iTunes button at the top of this page if you need the new version.

Ok, so just put into DFU Mode and connect it to your computer. Open Itunes an it will say that you need to restore. Click ok then follow the instructions.

Settings/Mail,Contacts,Calendar - there's a setting for how far back to sync calendars.

can unlock it. Contact the wireless provider in Hong Kong to see if they
offer unlocking and if you qualify.
If your iPhone is locked to an AppleID that you do not know, return it for
a refund as it is useless. Only the person whose AppleID was used for
activation can remove the lock. There is no workaround for Activation Lock.

I got an iphone 4 a week ago and i havent hooked it up to itunes yet until today. I plugged it into my computer and itunes doesnt reconize it. My itunes syncs just fine with my ipod touch but it wont sync with my iphone at all. How do i get my iphone 4 to sync to my itunes?

I got an iPhone 4 a week ago. I synced my iTunes once and now I want to change what albums and playlists are on my phone. When I try to do this, iTunes threatens to remove all my apps. Of course, Apple's support is no help. I know there has to be a way to add and remove whole albums and playlists like on the music tab on the device, so please don't tell me to uncheck/delete everything from my iTunes that I don't want and re-sync. That is not helpful and not the issue. How do I get around it threatening to remove all my apps?
On the MacBook, go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Advanced > Disable remote control
