Got my mouse to swipe yesterday on Mav. but now the window (and Internet) gets stuck
Yupp.
I did the quick fix of rechecking everything for the mouse. And it did work yesterday.
It isn't working today.
Any fixes?

And it doesn't matter whether it is Safari or Firefox. The browser gets stuck and freezes up.

I had an update massage for a wile on my phone and yesterday I decided to do the update and so I downloaded the soft w. and started to install but in the middle of the process the phone got stocked and said to connect to iTunes and so i did it and again the process gets interrupted first saying "the software on Iphone needs to be restored to factory settings or update" and so i do it..then it comes the message the an error -39 and I can not do it and it says that I need to restore..and so I do it..but its a circle and it never ends..and I have no phone since yesterday.. all my contacts, my work..

A little information will be of a great help, witch iPhone did you upgrade, memory , and version of software ( iOS 8.x.x )?
Try restarting you iPhone and make sure you have a god internet connection , get as close to your wifi router (1-3 meter / 2-9 feet ) as possible. Don't use restore to factory settings before you tried other options . And most imported du you have an iCloud backup.

Hi , My modem got zapped by lightning yesterday. My iMac still was able to power on when I tried it yesterday. Today the modem is replaced and internet is working, but now the computer will not power on. I followed the steps to reset SMC. Nothing. ??

About a month agop I got a Magic Mouse as a Birthday present and have been using it semi regularly on my Macbook. However, last night I accidentally left the mouse on while the computer was off overnight. Initially the mouse was completely not working, so I managed to reboot it by deleting certain things in the extensions folder (AppleBluetoothMutlitouch.kext and AppleMultitouchDriver.Kext) and while the mouse works fine now, the scrolling and swiping functions no longer work. I've tried downloading the update on the mac site, but everytime the message "a newer version of this software already exists" pops up!
I'm completely stumped (and I do not have USB Overdrive on my Mac)It's obvious that you need a screen repair.

If you bring your ipod into an apple store, they can also ship it out for repairs. Also you should back up your ipod onto your computer before you bring it anywhere, so your memory doesnt get wiped out. If you have itunes IOS 6.1.3, plug the device into the computer, bring up itunes, in the top right hand corner click the button that says ipod, then click summary. Near the center of the page should be a button that says back up now. Click that and it will save all of your ipod's ino to your computer so you can re-download it when its fixed. Hopes this helps! -

Are you getting a message about an unsupported SIM? It sounds like you had a phone that had been hacked to work on a network other than the one it was locked to and updating it has re-locked the phone to the original network.
Where exactly did you get the phone? What network are you on? If you did not purchase your phone directly from DU or from Etisalat (assuming you are using a carrier in the UAE) or from a carrier in the country where you purchased the phone or directly from Apple, then you got a gray market phone and it was most likely hacked to unlock it in the first place. Most of these gray market, hacked phones come from the US and were originally locked to AT&T.
Only the carrier the phone is locked to can authorize an unlock. If it is locked to AT&T, they will NOT authorize an unlock.
If any of my assumptions are incorrect, I apologize. We need more information, though to make a recommendation. -

my macbook 13 inch late 2007 model got soaked in wine I bought a pro to replace it , I want to use my hard drive froom the old one on the macbook pro and use it as an external , I already purchased the case , now the motherboard I understand gets bad but not the hard drive , right? but everything else still is in there right. ?

I just updated my iphone 4 to IOS 7.0.4 and it gets stuck backing up on step 2 of 7 and sometimes says step 2 of 4. I've got 2.09 GB free and ive reset it and still wont back up. It also says my phone has never been backed up to the computer, but ive been doing it for 2 years on it. My Ipad 2 also was getting stuck on step 2.

have an ipod and then got the wife an iphone4. all passwords are screwed up. she can not access playstore cuz she doesn't have password. i can not get find any help on how to get or update a password for the ipod. and then get her a separate password for her iphone. we need to save her photos, music, etc to ? icloud and the phone stuff to verizon cloud? so when she gets her new Iphone6 she can have all her "stuff" back on the new phone. hope this makes sense. please offer suggestions here or at [email protected] thanks for your help!
Oh no! I'm sorry to see there's a lot of confusion here and data shared, x-rayDon. We can definitely work to fix. This happens when two devices share the same Apple ID, so she will need to reset hers. She can do so by assessing this link Apple - My Apple ID. You will need to decide who will keep the account if want separate Apple IDs since purchases cannot be shared unless you do Family Sharing.
