If it's showing the red disabled screen due to incorrect passcodes then you may need to put the iPad into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808 - you should then be able to reset the iPad via your computer's iTunes and restore/resync your content to it

RECOVERY MODE

I have 2 ipad minis and I can't get headphones to work in either one. I have tried to push plug into the jack hard. All the headphones work in my ipod. Music still plays outside the headphones but not inside. Please help, I have 2 frustrated children because they can't use their headphones.

I've checked your account. I see that you just purchased the subscription this morning. The order is still pending processing, which is why you haven't yet been able to log in an use your subscription. It can take 24-48 hours for a subscription to process fully. Use a friends computer. IF the ipad is telling you to connect to iTunes that is what you need to do, there is no bypassing this. -

Start iTunes on the computer you used to setup/backup the iPhone, connect the USB end of the cable to the computer, then while holding the home button on the iPhone connect the dock connector end to the iPhone. That will put you in recovery mode and iTunes should see the iPhone. Then proceed to restore from backup as that will remove the passcode and allow you to access the iPhone.

My two year son was playing with the ipad and must have input the wrong passcode too many times. As a result, the ipad was disabled with further message to connect to itunes. I cannot remember if the ipad was synced with my laptop from the outset. Can you please assist with which way to go about in order to enable the ipad as it is not even allowing me to input the passcode hence l cannot access the ipad so far.
