Got new computer where did my podcast go?

got a new computer re downloaded itunes got all my music back but my podcast are not here how do i get them back ? They are on my ipod as well ..

Hi venicefromriverside,
I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the method you used to transfer your music collection. If you are seeing your music but not your podcasts in iTunes, you may find the following article helpful, in particular the external drive portion which details moving the entire iTunes folder:
iTunes: How to move your music to a new computer

  • New computer - where did my library go?

I just got a new PC. When I log into iTunes all my music is gone. I made the mistake of telling my Ipod to resync and that cleaned out my ipod. HEEEEELP!

Sorry to say, from all my research, you cannot get your music back from iTunes. I guess the only way to avoid this is to burn a backup CD every time you make a purchase. As with my situation, my PC crashed and burned which means I can not pull up the music that was stored on it. I don't know if I agree with the whole Wal-mart scenario above - thats a actual hard item someone has to create manufacture and then the stores overhead. With iTunes its just another download. Hey i purchased the song, now different if I copied it to my two I pods and a CD. I don't have to repay for each. I would agree to a nominal fee to download again from iTunes, there is some cost to them each time, but this situation shouldn't be a total loss. Bottom line, that is what there agreement says. Like most, I didnt read the fine print.

    c) unistalled and reinstalled iTunes
Doublechecking. Have you also tried a complete uninstall of both iTunes and all the other related software components and then a reinstall? If not, try the instructions from the following document:
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8

It is still on your old computer.
Did you copy the entire /Music/iTunes/ folder from old computer to new computer?

You should probably just download the trial version of pse 12 and see if you can live with it.
Download a free trial or buy Adobe products | Adobe downloads
That being said, have you tried to install pse 1 on your computer?
How much free space is on your hard drive?
Do you have Internet Explorer 10 or 11?
Pse 1 can run on windows 7 x64, provided certain conditions are met.

I have the creative cloud that I use for my schooling and I downloaded both Adobe Bridge CC and Flash Professional CC on the Creative Cloud and I cannot find or access them on the computer - where did they go?

    Hello,
I only can answer what concerns WIN. By using a file manager I can see, that all my Adobe programs are stored there:
Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Bridge CC aso.

  • I need to re-install Acrobat 9 in a new computer where I found software

I need to re-install Acrobat 9 in a new computer where I found software

Try the process in the post at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1061905. If you are successful, then backup the software and put it in your archives for future use (write the SN on it). This should be done with any software you download. Companies do not generally keep old versions of software around on their sites. They generally expect you to archive it for the future or purchase a new version. That is even true for free software. So try the site and see if that does the job for you.

  • I lost my hardrive, got new computer, tried to sync with itunes and my personal music (not purchased) does not show up.  Do i have to re-download all my personal music once again?

I lost my hardrive, got new computer, reloaded itunes, tried to sync with ipod nano and only my purchased music shows up - how do I get my downloaded music back.  message says ipod is sync'd with other library - the one I lost on my old computer! Help!

    Sue,
I recommend an external drive to maintain your music.  All your purchases are held in iCloud...so redownloading should be easy.  Also, Home sharing is a great way to transfer to a new computer, but in the case of hard drive failure your options are limited.  Home sharing is specifically for transferring to another pc.  Good luck!

  • Opening Lightroom for first time from new computer where library is on external hard drive

There has to be an easy way to open my lightroom library from my new computer where the library is already on an external hard drive because that's where I was told to put it to make this whole process easy. Well, I can't find any information on how to do this and I'd rather not mess up my photos!

Could you be specific about the problem you are having? What happens when you try?
Also please be sure to state your operating system and what version of Lightroom.

    Deauthorize all.
    Then authorize the active computers.

  • Where did my podcasts go?  The new version erased ones marked to keep!

The new version of iTunes just wiped out months of collected podcasts, even though it is still set to keep them all?  Where did they go?  How can I redownload them all if they are no longer available?  What did you break Apple?!

See this thread, amongst others; a shorter discussion here.
Short version: it looks like some people have had the files completely disappear from their computer; for others, the files are still on their computer, but iTunes can no longer find them.

  • After reinstallation on a new computer program did not start

Why did the program not start after reinstallation on a new computer????

If my memory serves me correctly you can only have Aperture 3 installed on 1 computer at a time so if you have it installed on the original Mac and this new system at the same time it may give you a multiple installations detected warning or something of that nature.
    Best of luck.
That is correct however Aperture does allow multiple installs to allow a user to have Aperture running on one computer at a time. For example a photographer may have a MacPro notebook and and Mac Pro desktop. He can use the license when he's on a shoot in the field using the MBP while the Mac Pro sits dormant at home. The software is sophisticated enough to detect he's trying to run one license on multiple machines simultaneously. I have successfully migrated Aperture myself and use it on my iMac and MacBook Air however as stated only one machine at a time.
The OP mentions the machine is new to him, which complicates matters quite a bit. I hope he got the original media from the seller if he did not then there is a good chance he is running illegal software and was duped by the seller. The OP doesn't say where he got the iMac so I'm assuming he bought it used, if I am correct then this is one the problems of buying used, caveat emptor. If I'm incorrect (like maybe it was a hand-me-down from a relative) then all he needs to do is get the media and key code.
Apple is careful on it's licensing on it's professional software.

  • Question re: moving iTunes library to new computer where files have different file path?

    Hi everyone-
I just got a new laptop and need to transfer my iTunes library to the new computer.
On my old computer, the hard drive was partitioned into a "C" drive and an "F" drive. The new laptop is just "C."
Since my iTunes library was on the "F" partition on the old laptop, the file path for all the files is going to change when I transfer to the new laptop.
I can find dozens and dozens of articles online about how to move iTunes to a new computer, but none of them seem to address the file path issue.
Does anyone know where I can find detailed instructions on how to make this work?
    Thanks in advance.

    Quit iTunes.
Move the entire /Music/iTunes/ folder to the F: drive.
    Hold Shift & launch iTunes.
Select Choose library... and select the iTunes folder you moved to the F: drive.
    Everything should still work fine.
Now go to iTunes prefs > Advanced.
Set the iTunes media folder location to the iTunes folder you just moved to the F: drive.
iTunes menu File > Library > Consolidate library.
This will copy all your media into the iTunes folder (F:\iTunes\iTunes media\ folder)
    Let it finsh.
    Quit iTunes.
Then you can copy the F:\iTunes\ folder to the new computer.
If you copy it to /Music/ folder, just start iTunes and it'll work.
If you copy it elswhere (such as another drive) hold Shift, launch iTunes, select Choose library... and select the iTunes folder.

  • New computer where are my songs?

I have a new computer but when l sign into itunes my songs are not there??  Where are my song?

  • Where did restored podcasts go?

I deleted some podcasts for my ipod classic.  They went to the recycle bin. When I saw that I had deleted them in error, I went to the recycle bin & restored them.  The question is now, where did they go from there & how do I get them back on my ipod?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

They may be in their original location in your iTunes Music folder on your PC.  Click the Start icon and select My Computer or Computer. Then navigate to your User account's Music folder and select iTunes -> iTunes Media -> Podcasts.  Are they listed there?
If so, simply drag them into your iTunes library and you should be good to go.
