Got replacement iPhone but can't sync old backup
I had my iPhone replaced today by a Genius at the Apple Store (one of the volume buttons was malfunctioning.) He reactivated the phone at the store for me.
However, when I got home and plugged it into iTunes, it didn't give me the option of restoring my data from my old iPhone. It happily synced my music, etc., but not my notes, settings, home screen buttons, etc. I tried "restoring" the phone but the only backup it offered was the one I had just created by syncing my new phone.
Any thoughts?
With your iPhone connected, at the iTunes menu bar go to iTunes > Preferences > Syncing.
Is there more than one iPhone backup available?

Changed my apple ID, works ok on pc and iphone but can't get old or ID to work Ipad2
changed my apple ID because email add no longer valid, new ID works on pc and iphone, but the new or old ID will work on my Ipad 2
I too had the same problem. Try:
1. Resetting the ipad by holding the sleep button and the home button simultaneously till the apple logo appears. And then try setting up facetime.
2. Setting the facetime through the facetime option in Settings.
Hope this helps. And its better not to sell the ipad 2. Its a brilliant device. Rather wait for the fifth generation ipad which might be launched in 2013. -

Trying to manage my music on iPhone but can't use old comp all my stuff on how do i do this
trying to delete some music from phone and store the old comp i use to do it on is broken how do i set up a new comp
Honestly the best bet at this point since we can't respond to whats on the screen is to plug it in over night and hope its connected to wi-fi so it can attempt to make an iCloud back-up. It won't have as much information backed up as an iTunes back-up but its still better than nothing. As to how to check the icloud back-up you will need to locate another iOS device and log into iCloud on the device and go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Back-up>Manage Back Up and it will display a time that it last backed-up.

Got new iPhone but can't install iTunes
I purchased a new iPhone 4 yesterday and thought it would be easy to set up but for some reason I can't install iTunes on my laptop. I can down load the iTunes setup.exe but when it comes to install it, it gets about half way through and it comes up with the error 'Could not access network location %APPDATA%/'. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to overcome this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Fifi.

With that particular variety of 1606 (it's a 1606 error message even though the 1606 error message number isn't returned by the iTunes installer), the following Microsoft document is worth a try:

Restored iPhone but could not use old backup
I was trying to upgrade to iOS 6 but kept getting an error message and disconnecting. I then decided to backup my phone then restore it to the factory settings.
When I was in the process of using the 'restore from backup' feature, it only brought in my contacts but not my photos and apps. Anyone know what went wrong and how I can get my photos and apps back?
Thanks!!!!If you did not set up Find My iPhone, then only your cell carrier would have the possibility of tracking your iPhone, if they offer such as service. Some carriers do, but most require you to sign up for the service and pay extra. You can call your carrier and ask if they have any tracking service available to you.
If your carrier does not offer such a service and you did not set up Find My iPhone, then there is no way to track the unit. Contact the police and change any passwords for any online accounts you may have used from your iPhone (the iTunes Store, for instance).

New iPhone 5 can't find any Bluetooth devices. I have reset the network settings without any luck. I have an iPad which can't find the iPhone but can find my old Nokia phone on Bluetooth. I want to use Bluetooth with my hearing aids, which work fine with the Nokia.
In terms of what is happening, when I turn on Bluetooth, I get "searching" under the devices section but no devices are found. Grey Bluetooth icon beside battery life icon.
Anyone solved this problem?iOS: Supported Bluetooth profiles

Just got an iPhone and can't get iTunes Match to connect. Keep getting a message that I'm not subscribed, but already did on my pc. Any ideas?
You must be signed into the mobile iTunes Store using the same Apple ID you used to originally purchase iTunes Match. On the iOS device go to Settings > iTunes and App Stores and tap the Apple ID. Log out, then log in with the correct ID.

I deleted my duplicate contacts one by one on my iPad but have lost over 600 contacts on my iPad they are all on my iPhone but when I sync my iCloud I only have 200 contact on my iPad but have all 820 on my iPhone can any one help
Welcome to the Apple Community.
First check that all your settings are correct, that contact syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing. -
In between my new iPhone and a old one, I used a replacement iPhone. On the replacement phone there were two backups created. I have a new iPhone now, but only the 2 old backups from my replancement phone. How do I get a older backup on my new phone?
Not sure where you backup to.
ITunes keeps the latest backup only.
Icloud keeps the 3 last backup. -
This isn't achely a question it's about iPod not iPhone but can Apple. Make all apps work with iOS 7 even when it's really old
And it's totally impractical for any OS to provide complete backwards compatibility in perpetuity. So no, Apple cannot grant your request. As WJ said, it's the developers' reponsibility to provide updates to their applications to be compatible with newer operating system releases, whatever the platform might be.

I purchased New Iphone. I would like to use new apple id on new Iphone. Can I sync my contacts to new id on new iphone ?
A new Apple ID represents a new user, and cannot do anything with data from another user.
