i uninstalled 7.3 everything is back to normal.
I reinstalled 7.2.
But my registration key doesn't work for quicktime.?

It should download and install. When you then first launch it and try to log into your CC account, it will ask you what to do. Then you can select to deactivate all other installs.

I had babylon everywhere -- ran a registry search and came up with a huge list; F3 got rid of all but 7, but those last 7 would not 'go'. I ran my Spybot but that wasn't successful in killing it. So I reset my Firefox and that apparently did the trick, because google search came up, not babylon, etc.
So I was choosing fonts, and restoring the look of my page with a theme and at one point when I down loaded one and went onto facebook there was no page background color, no lines, no icons for 'like' or 'comment' or notifications up on the toolbar in the LH side, etc. I can't play words with friends because all that is visible are the letters -- the board is invisible.
Is this 'ghostery' that I have read about which is an add-on? But the re-setting erased all my add-ons and I've checked, and I do not show having any.
In both my yahoo and gmail accounts I have to hover over areas where I think 'delete' is and wait for it to pop up to click on it. Same for the pull downs for reply, forward, etc.
I went to my Shutterfly account and it was just plain eerie -- pulled up a card I had just finished and you could see the front and back, but the top and bottom of the inside would not show. And what DID show was tiny, an inch or so wide and way over on the RH side (usually about 4x6 inches in the center).
Please help me, I use this for work and it is making it impossible to do some tasks.If it happens again the make sure that you aren't suppressing website colors.
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.

Restore the device from the backup created.
If no backup exists, there is nothing to recover. -
Help! I got rid of my old PC and the hard drive was destroyed. I forgot to deauthorize it in Itunes and now I can't access a lot of the songs in my library because it says too many computers have been authorized to play the music. IS there anywy I can deauthorize now, after the fact??

Open iTunes and click iTunes Store.
Click Sign In and enter your Apple ID.
Click your Apple ID and select Account.
Click Deauthorize All.
NOTE: Apple limits the Deauthorize All option to once every 12 months. -

We had 2 computers: his itunes library on one, and mine on the other. We got rid of both of those and got a new computer. I put new music on the new computer. My ipod songs are not on itunes on the new computer. Will I erase them if I sync? How do I add new music?

To save space on iCloud, I got rid of my Photos app. How do I get it back? I am using Mavericks OS.
This is nothing to do wth iCloud, you deleted part of the OS X system files/apps, you need to reinstall to get it back.
In future DO NOT delete any of the apps that come with OS X. -
Got rid of User Profiles data source in 2013?
We're trying to put together an approval workflow using 2013, but it seems like they got rid of the "User Profiles" data source, so you cant simply select the Manager of the current user. I wanted to add that manager to the Participants of a Task
process, but I kind of hit a brick wall with that.
Is the process overall different in how I would talk to the active directory through the workflow? Or should I just stick to 2010 workflow?Correct, it is no longer there. You're going to have to use the user profile web service. See here:

Update got rid of all of my loops...help?

I got my new macbook for christmas and have been using Garageband a lot to record my music ect.
I tried updating the software (I think) and it got rid of all of my loops. They are still on my computer but I can no longer get to them by hitting the "eye button" through garageband. Currently it only has sound effects and no loops.
Does anyone know how I can get all of the loops back in there?
Thanks.When I do that it shows me only about half of the options. All of the categories are there but they aren't able to be clicked (they are dimmed, the text is grey). The only available ones are Urban through Dark and all of those are only real songs (produced with lots of instruments) not loops like I want.
Is there anything I can do? -
The last upgrade, I guess, installed the cloud, which I don't use, an album I hate [U2] and most of all got rid of 2/3 of my music and all my audiobooks! how can I get rid of this junk and get my old version and all my stuff back?

Removing strange software can be a task. The following outlines various ways of uninstalling software:
Uninstalling Software: The Basics
Most OS X applications are completely self-contained "packages" that can be uninstalled by simply dragging the application to the Trash. Applications may create preference files that are stored in the /Home/Library/Preferences/ folder. Although they do nothing once you delete the associated application, they do take up some disk space. If you want you can look for them in the above location and delete them, too.
Some applications may install an uninstaller program that can be used to remove the application. In some cases the uninstaller may be part of the application's installer, and is invoked by clicking on a Customize button that will appear during the install process.
Some applications may install components in the /Home/Library/Applications Support/ folder. You can also check there to see if the application has created a folder. You can also delete the folder that's in the Applications Support folder. Again, they don't do anything but take up disk space once the application is trashed.
Some applications may install a Startup item or a Log In item. Startup items are usually installed in the /Library/StartupItems/ folder and less often in the /Home/Library/StartupItems/ folder. Log In Items are set in the Accounts preferences. Open System Preferences, click on the Accounts icon, then click on the LogIn Items tab. Locate the item in the list for the application you want to remove and click on the Delete [-] button to delete it from the list.
Some software use startup daemons or agents that are a new feature of the OS. Look for them in /Library/LaunchAgents/ and /Library/LaunchDaemons/ or in /Home/Library/LaunchAgents/.
If an application installs any other files the best way to track them down is to do a Finder search using the application name or the developer name as the search term. Unfortunately Spotlight will not look in certain folders by default. You can modify Spotlight's behavior or use a third-party search utility, Easy Find, instead. Download Easy Find at VersionTracker or MacUpdate.
Some applications install a receipt in the /Library/Receipts/ folder. Usually with the same name as the program or the developer. The item generally has a ".pkg" extension. Be sure you also delete this item as some programs use it to determine if it's already installed.
There are many utilities that can uninstall applications. Note that you must have this software installed before you install software you may need to uninstall. Uninstallers won't work if you install them after the fact. Here is a selection:

Look for them and others at VersionTracker or MacUpdate.

After removing all the components of the software you may have to restart the computer to fully disable the software. This will be the case when removing software that has installed a daemon. After the daemon has been removed you need to restart the computer to stop the daemon. Alternatively, you can kill the daemon process using the Terminal application or Activity Monitor. -

I take it you were replacing an older iPhone and this was the first time you plugged it in? If so, that's what happens. It restored the backup of your old phone. A backup of the current phone is not made in those circumstances.
If that's not what happened, you need to clarify. -
